I used the autowash here. It did a very poor job at cleaning my car, especially the wheels. They were still covered in muck. The wash also left a white film all over the car, so basically the car looks worse after washing it. I have however, used the manual wash and it works well.

Nice to have this here. But prices just keep going up. And why do they close the North facing doors. nobody knows how to backup when there's cars behind them wanting to get in. This place is getting better each passing day.

Dryer does not dry anything. "spotless rinse" leaves hard water stains. Expensive IMO ( $9 for best auto wash) Time aloud for 50 cents on vacuum is crazy. Inserted quarters into spot remover, only a drizzle came out. Inserted money into scent spray, nothing came out. I kept going back because it was convenient hoping things had improved, but multiple car washes later, it's the same. Don't waste your money go somewhere else. It's a joke.

This is the best car wash period. They don't water down the chemicals needed to clean your car. The auto wash is crazy good!!! I drive from Iowa city everytime. It's worth going out your way. Fyi owners go check out kwik Star car wash in Iowa city. Might get some new ideas they have extras yawl might consider.

Love the shine it left I used every step of washing my truck except they were out of the multi color spray protectant so skipped to wax n rinse after I brushed truck with very fruity good smelling foam soap!! Very pleased n prices are not high like 80% of this area!

It was winter doors were closed so water not freeze employee opened door asking everything ok yes I answered. No problem .well a few minutes past as I'm looking for my vehicle cleaning stuff in back of pickup that has fiberglass lid on bed . Employee or owner . Very rudely says if you're not washing you got to go. Mind you it's like 6:00 am no one in line behind me . So I say was going to Wash but not now . Haven't been back .

sounds like owner is splitting hairs with the not so favorable reviews. we live in rural riverside ia so our black denali is always getting gravel dust accumulated on it so riverside auto spa is very convenient for us BUT... we have also noticed our vehicles are not coming out as clean as they used to especially the last 8-10 months (automatic wash). water pressure has definitely been reduced plus the multi colored chemical is lackluster at best. the bill acceptor for the automatic wash is a complete nightmare unless you has fairly new crisp bills. the increase of wash prices doesn't match the service received. self wash has stayed fairly consistent. decent clean carwash family owned is the plus side.

I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! The water pressure is insane! There is so much soap that comes out when using it. I spent less time then ever washing bugs and dirt off cause of the water pressure. And the best part it smells so so so so so good!!! I would drive out of my way to use this car wash again!

I pulled up to get my truck washed and the credit card machine was in the middle of an update. After a few failed attempts I began to leave and let the person know behind me of the issue. It so happened to be the wife of the owner. She ended up using her tokens to allow me to wash my truck because it wouldn’t work. Just wanted to share this awesome experience. I will definitely be coming back!!

There must have been a problem with the drains or something as well as the machines taking the quarters and not registering them. There was a foul smell in each stall. Was able to get a hold of the owner for a refund on my money. If they can figure out the drains and the change machines, I'll venture back when I'm in the area

PROS: New owners, great people super friendly and locally owned. We've Been customers since it opened with original owners. New owners have done a lot of upgrades. Always clean and well lit for those nights you can't sleep and want to go wash your ride 🙂 CONS: Prices have raised, water pressure has noticeably been reduced, the Bubble Gum scented multi colored foam has been reduced to a drizzle, extremely finicky money machine that leaves you holding up the wash line because you are scrambling for bills or a credit card that it will also deny for no reason 🤷 Unfortunately the end result is a noticeably dirtier car because less of the grime is getting removed😕 We will continue to go here because we like to patronize local businesses but we do go to Iowa City if we need a really good vehicle wash with no leftover grime. If they would go back to the original way of washing this would be a 10 Star Car Wash again!
