Like a lot of other folks who live in the area, I like working on my car but don't have the time or tools for complicated stuff. Robern's has all the technical know-how as well as good honest technicians. I always ask for Tico. He has great customer service and even better mechanical skills. Areas of improvement would be parts ordering. They use a local parts dealer with pretty high prices. I usually order mine online from RockAuto and just put off the repair for a few days while I wait for delivery. Take your car here for everything: From oil changes to Engine repair. (They don't install tires. Go to Coscto for that!)

Absolutely the best price, product, service and communication in town! Ask for Tico for body work. Note: I've been an ASE certified auto mechanic for 15yrs, I just hate hate hate body work! Point being that I know what I'm talking about. First experience: I was tired of my 2001 Cherokee being broken into via their faulty front door locks, so decided to remove them altogether and skin them over smooth (adding keyless entry at my own time and expense). On a budget and aware of what I'm talking about, I shopped every body shop in the metro area. Tico at Robern's gave me a quote on the spot which was literally less than half of the next best estimate. I was skeptical, of course, but decided to see what would happen. It was winter -- primetime for body work -- and they were expectedly busy. They told me three days, then called in two to tell me it was ready. The work was flawless and then some. Being cheap, I opted to forego the pin-stripe decal, but they included it anyway, free of charge. They also washed the SUV for free. Who does that?! Second experience: My wife's 2008 Accord was hit while parked on the street, damaging the r/f fender and door and destroying the mirror. Progressive was willing to pay the $1300 difference over my $500 deductible, as well to increase my premium on account of living and parking within city limits. Robern's replaced and painted the fender, repaired the door, and directed me where to purchase a used mirror (electric adjustment and heated -- $335 from Honda, $55 from Brandywine (ask for Ross)), which he also installed, for a total of $450! If you're not counting, that's a complete, professional repair -- two body panels and an electronic mirror -- for less than my deductible! They washed this one, too. Save time, loads of money, stress, etc., get professional results, and support a local business. You cannot do better than these guys!

My 2005 pickup truck was T-Boned at an intersection. Robern’s Automotive fixed it, and made it look like brand new. Unbelievable service. Great quality workmanship. Nicest staff. Tico was very fair, informative, and kind. He detailed the truck, too.

A couple of weeks ago I had to take it for oil change, I went home and waited for them to call me; they never did. So after about 5 hours I had to call them. When the car was ready I bought the car home. A couple of days later I was cleaning the car and I saw that one of my wheels had a big rash/scratch that was painted a covered up. My wheels were aftermarket brand new without a scratch and this was the only place that had taken my car in the last month. So someone at this shop scratch the wheel and covered up w/o telling me anything. So I wont be coming back here because of the lack of professionalism. I would have preferred them telling me and look for a solution, rather than hiding things. I don't trust this shop anymore.

These people have been taking care of my car for over 2 years. They are very respectful, honest and professional. I used to fix my car somewhere else. I had a bumper issue. They told me over $1000. I didn't have enough money. I decided to look somewhere else so I found Robern. Chico checked my car, he asked for $700 including services. Since that time, I always take my car to this place. I would recommend 150%. Women who don't know about cars like myself, please come to this place. Stop going where people take advantage.

Simply the best around !!!! Honest car mechanics and shop owner . They will not overcharge or upsell like most places they just do the work necessary and keep it simple and affordable . I had a place back home (Boston ) that was a referral of a friend of mine who was a mechanic himself and I always went to this shop ( Brilliant Tire of Dorchester ) for the same reasons . I went there for 15 years and was sad to lose a trusted mechanic because of my move to Washington D.C. However I am most happy to find the same kind of shop in Robert'S Automotive .I had tune up with coil packs replaced . Today we checked my heating system and narrowed it down to a heat selector switch so they charged me for the resistor replacement and service call and it was more than reasonable . I am ordering the aftermarket part myself as its an easy swap . The mechanics are very experienced and knowledgeable . I will be recommending everyone that i know to go here to this shop . Also looks like same building next door they do tires as well .
