I ran something over on the freeway and my splash guard was hanging off and dragging. I took it here and they put it up on the lift and fixed it in under 20 minutes for a VERY reasonable price. Super professional and friendly, you can tell this is a shop that does good work and will not try to rip you off.

When I saw the 2 "Classic Cars" in the on-line photos of this business, I figured it was probably the right place to get repairs for my '78 'Vette. I was really right. Frank bent over backward to make all the right repairs and adjustments to get my new Classic in proper order to meet California smog requirements. I have a few other issues with the car, but now I know just the right place to go for work. Most highly recommended.

This shop was recommended to me by AAA and I’m glad I went to them. I needed a new alternator , air and cabin , a belt & Matt was very kind and informative during the whole process. This review is long overdue. I was driving on the I-10 westbound in Upland, California on December 23, 2022, when my 2016 MB 300 GLC showed the very scary message "High temperature warning - Turn off engine now." Within a minute, I exited Euclid and pulled over. I then called AAA who sent a tow truck to take me and my car to Route 66 Auto. This place has something you will not find at any Mercedes dealership: muscle cars. I felt totally out of place, but Rony was super nice and helpful. He took my keys, my contact info, and said he would call me as soon as he had an update. Within an hour, Rony called and said that my car was fixed: loose radiator hose. He didn't even charge me. I picked up my car the next day and it was running perfectly. My car made it back to Phoenix a couple of days later without any problems. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone. After getting ripped off at other garages, I've found Route 66 to be scrupulously and refreshingly trustworthy. They give honest assessments of current (and future) engine problems, don't suggest you replace parts that aren't fully worn out yet, and have their final prices match their estimates. As a frequent customer for many years, I've even had one of my flat tires patched by them for free. My car is old enough to vote, and I take it there once a year for a tune-up without any regrets. Frank and his staff are always friendly and helpful, and answer all of my questions. I've never had a garage that I've been so relieved to take my car to, even just to check out a rattle or resolve an idiot light on the dashboard. Give this garage a try. They also give AAA discounts.

Thank you so much to Frank and his crew at Route 66 Auto Repair for the wonderful work they did on my Honda Crosstour. They have been taking care of our regular car maintenance for years, and I'm sorry I had not thought of doing a review before. This time around I needed new brakes. They got the job done at a very fair price, and were also able to fix the mysterious vibration that had been plaguing me every time I accelerated. To top it all off, they washed my car!! If you need a trustworthy and fairly priced auto shop, look no further than Route 66 Auto Repair. They will straighten up your car so you can drive right!

My experience 2 months ago: The guys at Route 66 Auto Repair are terrific! Always friendly and helpful, on time and great price. My experience today: Took my car in to have the Same tire serviced Again. I was told to bring it in before 11 so the guys could get to it before lunch. As of 1:30 they had not yet looked at it, let alone done anything. When I voiced my displeasure, I got the big brush off. Took my car away. Hopefully I will be contacted by the owner. It’s obvious he was not there today.

Do NOT take you're car here for a pre buy inspection! Do NOT waste your time and money! I paid for the deluxe pre buy inspection and they told me there was NOTHING major wrong with the truck. Just minor things like windshield wipers that needed to be replaced. So I bought the $15,000 truck, and about month later I started hearing a metal on metal sound. I took it to my local mechanic and they found some major Damage. Someone had gotten into an accident and grinded down the frame on front driver side suspension, also it's leaking power steering fluid, leaking coolant, broken engine fan shroud... All things that a competent, professional, mechanic, can easily find and Route 66 Auto repair did not.

Spoke with Frank and Dillan and they not only diagnosed the problem in under 2 hours they also made the repairs same visit and I was able to pick up my car the same day! Frank & Dillon are awewome, I had a big move to do by myself, Frank went over all my options with me, help me to pick proper straps for the truck, and did his best to save me a few dollars. There must be a background before I tell you my opinion. 1965 Mustang, that was my father‘s in the 60s. I inherited it, my three sons drove it as their high school car and my grandson will now drive it. This car Is very special in our family. It has never been to a shop under my ownership, until now.. I did much research before I took it anywhere. Route 66 auto repair is where I landed and I am extremely satisfied with Frank and his staff. When I picked up the car today, I was reminded of why I made the right decision. The entire garage was full of Muscle cars. So I had to take a picture. I will never take my car anywhere else. Trust is difficult to find, I found it.
