If you're looking for an honest mechanic, an expert Toyota technician, and an off-road genius all rolled into one, Richard at RS Automotive is it! I have been taking my 4Runner to Richard and Soha for years since they first opened at their original La Crescenta location. Now that they're in a new and larger location in Simi Valley, I don't mind making a longer trip to take my vehicle to the very best! Richard goes above and beyond at every service and he'll treat your beloved vehicle as his own. I can't recommend RS Automotive enough!

I've been servicing and getting work done on my Land Cruiser 200 at RS Automotive Works for almost 4 years now. Richard is a very honest guy, which is very rare in this business. He gives great advise and will not push any services or products on you and will tell it to you straight. RS Automotive Works was previously located a couple of minutes away from my house and is now almost 45 minutes away, and I still don't let anyone touch my truck except Richard. I got most of the aftermarket work on my truck done at a well known shop in Houston when I was living there. I had a ton of electric gremlins and battery issues pop up due to poor installation. Richard went through and diagnosed all of it to identify the issue and solve it. I had taken it to two other well experienced shops in LA that couldn't figure it out. If you're thinking about doing aftermarket work on your truck, no matter how complicated, or just need a service done, Richard is your guy.

Richard and his crew are the best. I've brought my Tacoma and my wife's Lexus to these guys several times. Each time we drive out, we drive out knowing that our vehicles will be on the road for a long time before having to bring them back. Richard and his team at RS did an outstanding job making my FJ offrorad worthy. Recently purchased my FJ from a neglectful owner that put on years of abuse and neglect... RS rebulit the six speed transmission and installed a centerforce clutch & Clutchmaster throwout along with other driveline parts. I took my Toyota Tundra to Richard recently for a brake job and asked him to give it a once over. I knew it needed some work and was ready for it. Where can I start? RS Automotive Works is THE go to for all your Lexus/Toyota needs! Richard performed a timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, thermostat, basically the whole works on on the front on GX470. Reasonably priced for a very professional environment. Richard is highly knowledgeable and meticulous. My gx was done the same it was done the same day it was brought and I was highly impressed as this quiete a extensive job on these engines. Been driving the vehicle for about 2 months now and she's going 💪 . Thank you RS and thank you Richard will be definitely coming back for other services!
