Proceed with caution. This shop falsely promoted a for-sale '98 Honda Civic saying it had a clean title and they were just reselling for a friend. Seemed like honest, decent people and assured us that a mechanic has inspected the car and fixed minor issues. Upon finally receiving the title since they were unable to provide it, the title was salvaged and the car needs $3000 worth of work. Called to express this concern and I was scoffed at and written off with no offers of reimbursement or a replacement car. They are not honest people, they sell cars "privately" to get away with tiptoeing on the line of legality. Take your money elsewhere and get yourself in a reliable car from a trustworthy business who deserves your time and money. You've been warned.

My Acura MDX was heavily scratched by bushes and trees when exploring trails in central Oregon. He buffed out all of the scratches and made it look brand new. Also polished the headlights and tail lights. Work was great and price we reasonable. Will use him again for sure.

They did an interior/exterior detail on my Ford truck and it's never looked so good. The paint feels smoother than when it was new and the interior is spotless - all for a much better price than I'd been quoted from other detail shops (30% less). They did the best detailing I've found in Portland. The staff is friendly and meticulous. Not the fastest service, but, by far, the most thorough. I would TOTALLY recommend Sam Auto Detail to make you proud of your car again - a diamond in the auto detailing ruff.

I’ve used Sam for 3 years. Something has drastically changed. I paid him to fix body damage on my truck in Feb ‘24. After 6 months of waiting, I finally went to take my truck back, and this was the condition I found it in. He had been driving my vehicle around (evidence of Facebook photos), trashed the inside with garbage, food, and clothing, and didn’t repair anything on it. I’m estimating $5000 in damage, plus what I paid him upfront, stolen parts, and stole tools from the bed of the truck and smashed window. I’ll be suing in small claims. STAY AWAY!!!
