Love the car we bought here. Salesperson, Kyle, was awesome during the buying process. He mentioned before we left that we should have gotten a tire inflator kit with the car. But he would take care of it and get us one. No problem. When we got the survey from Chrysler, we gave them the highest rank. Once that was completed, I never heard back from Kyle. After 6 weeks I emailed him to check on the kit. Crickets. A week later I called him. He said the kits were backordered. Ok. Waited another 6 weeks and tried emailing again. Again, nothing. So I called the following week. He said he would just pull one from another car and give it to me. Great. He never called back. I waited a month and called again. Surprise! Kyle no longer works there. They forwarded me to Scott. Scott said he would look into it and get back to me. And, of course, I have heard nothing back. It’s been 2 weeks. Make sure you get everything you want from them before filling out the survey. If you don’t get it, let the survey reflect it.

If I could I wouldn’t give them a star at all! This was the absolute worst experience me and my husband have had at a car dealership! They come up with lots of excuses so it doesn’t look like it’s their fault but in fact it is. When we first called them about a specific car they said they would have it ready for us to test drive then we get a call back saying it was in the process of being sold so the salesman said he had another option for us so when we got there he said that the other option was also in the process of being sold and come to find out they weren’t and they are still on the website for sale! We bought a used 2018 jeep grand Cherokee that they had on the lot for 3 days and when we test drove it was dirty on the inside with dust and hay. When we were finished buying it we were told it was getting a detail so we waited and when we got in it wasn’t touched and before we bought it my husband looked through the whole front end of the car and didn’t see anything wrong and when they pulled the vehicle in we noticed a huge dent in the front of the car we never saw when we first looked at it since the car was dirty and the salesman didn’t know about it either! when we got home we popped the hood and saw that the water pump had broke so the next day we called to ask about it and we were told they never did an inspection on the vehicle! So I took it in for them to fix and it took 3 days. So originally asked if they could take the vent visors off the windows they said no due to it would leave damage so we all agreed that we would just leave them on. They told us the car was getting detailed and they would deliver it to my work. Come to find out they took the visors off anyways and they did leave damage on the doors and when I saw the car there were tons of pieces from the visors in my backseat along with never even being detailed! They only washed the outside of the car and They just put air fresheners in to make it look like it! Then they said well it wasn’t there fault for the damage they said they took it to a different body shop to have visors removed! When my husband texted the salesman he told my husband that it was his fault because we told them to take them off anyways! We are extremely disappointed in this experience and we will NEVER BE BACK!!! Also they did an oil change and my mileage is at 63,000 and the sticker they put on said to get another one at 102,210 miles!! They are telling people to go 40,000 until an oil change that absolutely crazy!!!

Drove 2 hrs for my dream vehicle! As soon as me and my husband got out of our car we were greeted by workers. Tyler our sales rep was fantastic, very friendly and made sure everything ran smoothly! Tim from the finance department was absolutely wonderful, super funny and kept conversation going. Explained everything throughly and answered all my questions! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

I traded in a truck I bought for a van on 12/31/2025. Sales guy, Austin was good. When I purchased, the finance manager, Alex, talked me into adding some warranties by saying "you can cancel them if you change your mind", and convinced me I should just do it for peace of mind. Perhaps it is on me for not asking more specifics, especially because all the numbers he stated were rounded, but after research decided I did not want 2 of the 4 that I added initially. So I called Friday Jan. 2, was told I would get a call back, and did not. I did this again on Jan. 3rd, Jan. 5th, and Jan. 6th and each time they told me I would get a call back, and not once did I.I had to reach out to my sales guy to get someone to talk to me. My issue is not the poor customer service, but that I went back to the dealer, met with Alex, who then told me I could not cancel the warranties I added because they "were integrated into the deal", and there was "nothing he could do". I was fine to accept poor customer service, but after being mislead and tricked into spending extra money, I cannot stress how I will be telling anyone who I hear is purchasing a car to avoid the Sam Leman name at all costs. A good initial experience has been ruined, and I will make it a point to never return any business sales or service here.

I don't and won't recommend this place to my worst enemy. While the customer service is good I'm person. Theyre over all service is horrible. There was a recall for a part on my car. They called told me the part was in, made an appointment for me to bring my car in, but didn't even start it til a week later. Never offered a loaner, I missed so much work. I got my car back. And noticed I was still having issues. Come to find out, it's due to the recall. Will they fix it? No. Asking me for an extended warranty, or over 5 grand. This is how they make money. Il never bring my car here again. Even if the service is a free recall. Bad business.

I had an amazing experience purchasing my new Jeep at Sam Lehman! My salesman, Doc, was absolutely incredible. He was extremely helpful, patient, and made the entire process feel comfortable and stress-free. There was never any pressure or rush—just genuine support in helping me find the perfect car. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares, go see Doc. He’s the best!

Juan did a great job of communicating and following up on my trade in and on the purchasing of my new RAM truck. He found me exactly what I was looking for and made the process easy. I drove 600 miles to make it happen and couldn’t be happier. Thank you!

The salesman specifically was wonderful and tried accommodating to his best ability; however the company as a whole is not accountable, reliable, or thorough. I purchased a 4 year old used vehicle thanks to the impeccable hunting skills of our salesman Gabe, however just 20 minutes into our 6 hour drive home, the check engine light came on. After 5 visits to the dodge dealership in my area, and $3,000, a sensor in the fuel system was replaced. Also, before the purchase, Sam Leman was asked to help cover expenses of body work that was previously attempted to be fixed but not fixed well, and the response, after the purchase, was theoretically it was fixed the best it can be because it was fixed at a body shop. I took it to a body shop in my area and $1,800 later, the rear bumper cover was replaced with an OEM cover instead of aftermarket and fits like a gem now. The body shop also discovered the vehicle had a new quarter replaced on it which was not in the carfax. The 2nd key fob was at the wrong location so they mailed it to me (no big deal), but it arrived non-functioning. I also requested touch up paint and was told that would be mailed to be. It has been 14 weeks, I highly doubt the paint is coming. Gabe did a wonderful job hunting for my dream Durango, but unfortunately Sam Leman does not stand behind their work with integrity. They wouldn't even replace the rear wiper blade that was torn, Gabe would've had to take that out of his person gain which isn't right either.

Alfonso Masson is a great salesman. That's always the most positive thing I can say about this dealership. But my God do the finance people try to get you. *** Be Aware *** If you are not a shrewd negotiator are experienced in buying a car do not come here, do not send your wife or daughter by themselves. If you negotiate over the phone or even in person they're going to inflate numbers. I was told over the phone the lowest price they could reach. (lowest price per month) as my company pays a stipend for my vehicle. Well when I was taking the cost of the vehicle they gave me and just plugging it in a simple finance calculator my cost seemed to be much lower than what they were quoting me. When I came into the dealership to sign the paperwork, It was clear why. They were adding in a super expensive warranty and super expensive gap insurance that was inflating my monthly payment by over $65 per month. What I find dishonest isn't that they were putting those in there because I've seen dealerships do it before, it's that I was negotiating for the cheapest price which any customer would do and they weren't being honest when they were telling me the cheapest price. They were telling me the cheapest price with that included but they weren't telling me that stuff was included. Hell, if they would have just been honest I could have bought the car a couple weeks prior when I started negotiating over the phone. I'm not saying all finance people and all finance deals and the add-ons are a bad thing. But my credit union charges $400 for Gap that is superior to what the dealership offers for $1000s. I shopped around extended warranties through Ford and I also found them at close to 60% cheaper. My salesman was great. I've dealt with him in the past and he's honest and I really like him. But the people in finance are definitely sharks and you need to watch out to make sure you get the best deal for yourself. Would I do business with them in the future? Possibly. But I'll be damn sure I'm ready for all the shenanigans the next time I go in there. If anybody wants to reach out directly I can run you through the deal that was proposed and what I ended up finishing with. I'm very happy with the vehicle I have. And because I pre-negotiated it was not a big wait to get my new vehicle. I would say I was in there less than an hour. If you're going to shop at a dealership remember, if you're willing to walk into the dealership you have to be willing to walk out.

I inquired about a used car and was told it was available at first. Asked to speak with a sales manager personally to bring forth my offer. His name was Caleb. The vehicle had high mileage of 177k so I gave an honest offer of 4500 out the door with fees and everything it was accepted. I even said I would be there this Saturday 1/24/26 at 4pm to finalize my purchase. Then about noon that same day his receptionist calls me and says the vehicle sold. Fast forward to today. I spoke with a sales rep by the name of Ryan Gaines according to him it’s available. What a shady car dealership. That equinox is well worth what I offered for that mileage and year.

We purchased a new Wagoneer December of 2025. There were some gouges in the paint we noticed after we got home. Called the dealership and they did an amazing job with taking care of us even after the sale!!! 10/10 would recommend and would travel the almost 4 hours to do business with them again.

Back in July I needed a car ASAP because my car was totaled. Murdock (Doc) was very helpful and responsive about any questions I had and helped me find the perfect car (a Bronco that I always wanted). Fast forward to yesterday when my husband’s car had some unexpected issues, we got to Bloomington and Doc helped us for a second time to find the right truck that my husband is very happy with. Doc went the extra mile for us and even brought over 2 vehicles from 2 of the other Leman dealerships for us to test drive to make sure we could test drive all of our options. We also got amazing warranties on both of our vehicles that give us such a calmer piece of mind when getting into a used vehicle. I simply cannot say enough great things about our 2 experiences with this dealership. We were treated with respect and kindness from start to finish and did not feel rushed to settle. Thank you Doc and the Sam Leman team!

Great experience buying a car here. I live 2 hours away and came here because they were willing to work with me on a deal. Caleb was very quick to respond to texts and emails. No high pressure sales tactics or run around here. I am very happy with the vehicle I purchased and would not hesitate to buy another car from them. Thanks again!!

Carson was great to work with. He actually stopped by on his day off and chose to stay to make sure we were taken care of, which says a lot about this experience. The whole process was quick, smooth, and stress free. We were in and out with our new car way faster than expected. Highly recommend working with him if you want someone who genuinely will listen to your needs and fit them in accordingly!

Best car shopping experience I ever had. Walked in the showroom, met my Salesperson (Carson). Informed him we were shopping around, didn’t know what type of car we wanted to settle on from what dealership. We asked to see a few different models, which he promptly assisted us with. When we were done, he handed us a car and told us to call him if we wanted to buy through them. No pressure, no sales tactics to keep us in the store, on getting two different managers to give us slimy and deciding lines to lock us into a contract. Carson provided total respect and we left. We decided on the vehicle we wanted, and because of Carson’s genuine customer service, we decided to buy at Sam Lehman’s. I called Carson, told him the car I wanted, gave him my loan pre-approval, and date and time we would be there to purchase the vehicle. We arrived on that day, there was no pressuring to try and get us to run our credit for a better rate, just Carson finishing getting the car through it’s final check, sat down with finance manager, and signed our paperwork. No pressure to buy BS warranties with tactics of showing how little it added to the monthly payment. All add ons were offered, with total prices given and a break down one time. I was given an opportunity to accept, deny, or accept only the ones I wanted, This place is truly transparent, in fact they found I qualified for more off then what is was marked and we initially came to an agreement on. They then surprised me with the lower price, they didn’t try to hide it because we already agreed upon a price. Customer service, especially Carson, was excellent. Truly a no pressure service oriented car dealership.
