All Star Bodywork is awesome! I got some body work done on my car after getting in a fender bender. Another place had told me my car was totaled. I heard about Sergio through word of mouth and thought I’d get a second opinion. Sergio did a great job, and it was quick too! He is kind, communicative, and reasonably priced. He also showed me very thorough pictures of the work needed when he quoted me. I went to him for new brake pads recently as well. Highly recommend!

A hit and run tore my front bumper off and I rushed here to see what could be done. I was expecting major repairs and costly services, but Sergio reattached the bumper in less than an hour. He even stayed overtime to complete the job and kindly invited me to stay in the office to stay away from the sun. Amazing customer service and effective work, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Sergio from Santa Cruz All Star Bodyworks did a great job repairing small dents and large scratches from my car. A kid on a bicycle ran into my car and caused some ugly damage. I did my best to repair it with touch ups, but quickly realized that I need someone with real skills and experience for this job. After getting several quotes went with Sergio who was cost wise, the middle of the road option. Sergio was clear and detailed with explaining what work would be done, the methods for the work, time frame, and outcomes which gave me a detailed understanding of the work and his ability to see through the complete process. Upon closing out the work Sergio showed me detailed pictures of the process solidifying my belief that this is quality work by a qualified expert. The results of the work are fantastic. The metallic paint repair looks great and I'm unable to tell a difference. I will be coming back to Santa Cruz All Star Bodyworks if any more kids/tourists damage my car.

I happened upon All Star Bodyworks because my truck had broken down right around the corner. I had rolled over something on the freeway and the right front wheel of my truck had bent in completely. It was almost immobile. I hobbled it the best I could into the shop, and sure enough, the right control arm and ball joint had busted. I spoke with Sergio and he said that he could start working on it immediately. This was on a Thursday morning, so I figured I would be without my truck through the weekend, at least, until they could order the right parts and put it all together. Sergio sent over a quote and pictures later that day to show me exactly what was wrong and what needed to be replaced. The truck needed new brake pads and a new right tire as well, so I included that in my order. Sergio texted me in the early afternoon the next day (Friday!) with pictures of all the new parts on my truck and said that it was ready to pick up. I was stoked. I Uber-ed over on my lunch break and was in and out in 15 minutes with my truck riding smooth before the weekend. Sergio and his team were fast, transparent, and very reasonably priced given the damage to my truck. I would highly recommend All Star Bodyworks and will be going back again myself. The first five pictures below are the damage and the rest are the new parts and repair.

Added and unintended benefit I received from them was that my car had burned oil for years and after they had worked on body and some engine replacement parts on the front end of my vehicle, that problem has disappeared; an extra added benefit to the work they did! I had a very small issue with my 2016 Honda CRV and sheepishly pulled into the All Star Bodyworks shop early this morning, knowing I would have to ask for an estimate and not looking forward to having to delay the work to be done. A part had fallen off of my car, and no matter how small the estimate I knew I would have to wait because of my budget nowadays. I was astonished at my actual experience! It is rare to receive great, friendly customer service, but I got it from All Star Bodyworks on Capitola Road Extension. I was given immediate attention upon arrival, the young man looked at my issue and fixed it in less than 5 minutes. I paid a minimal amount, that I could afford, and was on my way! After having spoken to several local body shops about rust repair on our 1982 Mercedes, and getting drastically different estimates and opinions, we were referred to Sergio. I had a large dent and scratch in my front bumper, and got quoted a pretty reasonable amount to replace it and get it painted. Sergio got it done in record time: I dropped my car off the afternoon of Thursday, the 25th, and got my car back the following Monday. Any other place I got an estimate at told me Thursday of that week by the earliest! There was even an interior plastic part that had broken off that he melted back together for free, because it hadn't been a part of the original quote. Overall, Sergio went above and beyond and I'm very happy with my car and the whole experience. Will definitely be coming back with any other car troubles - absolutely recommend!
