Don't ever go here. They charged me almost 300 on a 180 dollar job and not even a day later, it broke again. They gaslight you and over charge you for book hours. The worst. If I could give them a 0 star I would

We were passing through from Oklahoma on our way to Orange Beach when our belt broke. They stayed after hours to get us back on the road. We had called several other places who turned us away. These individuals deserve to be imprisoned for the harm they cause to vehicles. We intend to initiate legal action for the damage they have caused to our vehicle. Avoid bringing your vehicle to this place as they are dishonest and thieves!!!!

If you ever need honest people, mechanics, and just overall reasonable on prices- this is the one! Look no further.. semmes is the way to go! Honestly!! They’ll forever have my vehicles if something goes wrong, they figured out my issue and had it ready by the end of day… and I had a few ppl look at it… so kudos for my new mechanic at semmes

This place is a joke. First of all they lost my key to my vehicle and cut wires to get it started instead of getting a new key. Iwas told a price to do the work, went to pick it up the vehicle wouldn't start and the price was crazy. I questioned about the work that was supposed to have been done. It made no since what they said. Than to top it off the vehicle was stolen at their shop. Don't ever do business with them.

I honestly thought I was going to have a 1 star experience because of the initial way things were handled by Julian’s book keeper. There was a lot of miscommunication that was solely on the book keepers part. As soon as Julian was made aware of what was going on he immediately handled the situation and did so in a way that speaks strongly of his character. I will definitely be using Semmes Automotive for all of my repair needs in future. 10/10 would recommend.

I live very far from Semmes but they were recommended to fix the A/C on my truck. They kept it 2 days the first week. Brought it home and it was not fixed. 2nd trip over they kept it 8 days and told me to come today to pick it up. I drive all that way again only to find his A/C machine was broke so another wasted trip. I cut my losses and picked it up. I will be disputing the charges. Dropped it off at another shop and they diagnosed it within an hour. Bad condensor (leaking at the neck) and same for the radiator. It will be ready tomorrow. Semmes wasn't even close to diagnosing the condensor (and fixing my truck correctly). It would have been another wasted trip. I am out $290 about 12 hours of my time and close to $100 in gas. Save your time and money go somewhere else. This guy is a shade tree mechanic at best who's Mom answers the phone for him. Beware!

Don’t ever bring your car here! These folks had my car 3 months and they didn’t fix a damn thing! They even trashed my car busted the windshield it was scratched up on both sides, it looked like they drove it wrecked and try to slap back together and they were supposed to just fix a oil leak but they claimed I needed a motor and it sound like a damn tractor when I got it back! It was all kind of stuff unhooked or not put back together under the hood.. the company I bought it from was paying for the repairs but these folks damaged this car so bad they gave me a whole new car! Oh yea they try to steal my speaker out the trunk I guess they couldn’t figure out how to unhook it.. so they just left it sitting on my backseat they pulled everything I had out and scattered on the backseat like they were rumbling in there looking for something to steal! This is the worst experience I ever had getting a car repaired and I’m glad I wasn’t paying because I surely would’ve been in jail! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!

I was extremely pleased with the repair services at Semmes, it was performed in a timely manner & even some minor problems were fixed that I wasn't sure could be repaired! Everything that I expected & more was done and done very professionally and at a reasonable cost. They I repaired my faulty brakes and fine tuned my engine and other minor items. They hold your car for a week claim its fixed and turn around and have to go back in 24hrs. They give you a time to pick it up but when you call to say you are on the way they don't answer the phone. They lie and say they worked on your car but when you get there you see they haven't touched the car. I don't recommend using them to fix your car.
