I always fill up at this place, even though it's a little higher priced. Car wash sometimes has issues, but other than that, the workers and the owner have always been nice and helpful.

Machine doesn't work everyone is directed to go to cashier. Such a scam trying to get people to go inside and spend more money. Same thing at another Shell station. I just drove to a competitor to fill up. Don't have time for games.

The nastiest, dirtiest, shadiest and unsafest gas station in Whittier and possibly most of Los Angeles. Just to put thing in perspective, the owners of this dump put up fake prices for their gas and got busted by the city.

Just went here last Friday to pump gas they were out of regular so CANCELED and went elsewhere, yet still charged $75 to my card not $1 BUT SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS! BE VERY CAREFUL USING YOUR CARDS HERE, AND OF COURSE THEY DON'T HAVE A WORKING TELEPHONE TO CONTACT THEM TO SMH.

The worst gas station I have visited. I was pumping the gas and the pump just said pump stopped. I told the cashier and he wanted me to enter my rewards number again but I lost me rewards. He said he couldn't do anything. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!!! I wish I could give 0 stars!!! Let me start off by saying this is the WORST business I have ever encountered. Shady business tactics.. stealing from customers. Let me elaborate. Charging for things not on the receipt, as well as charging for water and compressed air (which is free in the state of California via California state law!). To top it off, while going through the reviews, I noticed the owner marked a 5 Star review on his own yelp business... SHADDDDYYYYYY. How do I know this? The night your establishment tried to rip me off for free air and water you’re employee was nice enough to give up the full name of the owner. Thanks and good riddance to shady establishments.

My friend needed gas so we stopped here because it's a Shell station. The price on the sign said $2.85 per gallon but he was charged $3.05. I took a picture of their prices. One sign had their regular gas at $1.15 per gallon. The outside looked filthy. There was a bunch of trash on the outside in the front of the store. Never, ever going to stop here again.

Tried to come here for the first time today. Unfortunately, I will never be back. The pump that I pulled up to had a blank piece of paper taped on it. I thought, okay.. There was an orange cone, but it wasn't directly in front of the pump, so I didn't really notice it. I put in my card, chose the 87 gas, and went to pump. Surprise- there's literally no nozzle on the gas pump! So I was charged $0.62 for nothing. I was in a rush and didn't have time to go inside and bother telling the person in there, so I just left, with no gas. Later on, I tried to call them to tell them that their little sign had been washed away by all the rain we had yesterday, and it's literally just a blank piece of paper taped on there. I am sure I won't be the only one to make this mistake. The cherry on top is that the phone number listed for this Shell is disconnected. So, yeah. Pretty bad business conduction here.

Very bad service. The owner or manager is really rude. I needed air in my tires and they told me i had to buy gas to get air, despite the sign on the machine stating that it is free by law. Since i was in desprate need for air i bought gas and then asked them to turn it on. The machine would not turn on and after three attempts to get them to come out and help me the main guy there very frustrated and rude said that it works fine every morning so there shouldn't be a problem, and finally sent the other man to check it out. It never turned on and i was left with a flat tire.

Car was is a hit and miss, sometimes it works and some times it doesnt. The worst part is they have 3 different advertised prices for fuel with car wash. I am not even sure if its legal since they don't honor the best price marked for fuel with wash.

Worst Shell gas station I've ever come to. EVERY time that I've entered my rewards number, it NEVER shows up on my receipt and my points never used on the app. They deliberately remove the rewards before the end of the transaction. Gas Prices are never updated on the signs, or each sign display has different prices. The carwash is seriously over priced, they have their own prices written over the standard priced shell wash sign. It's such a bummer that this is the nearest Shell to me.

I purchased a works car wash of $11 which is the most expensive one they have. I barely got any soap on the pre-soak and none of the special colorful waxes were dispensed. DON’T waste your money on the car wash!

The cashier is extremely rude and unnecessarily disrespectful. I came in at 2:00pm today because I needed air in my flat tire and they were the nearest gas station. I was on my way to fix my tire but needed additional air to get there. When asked politely to turn the air on, “ he said it’s a dollar.” I advised, I came in last night and it was no problem. He then asked, “ do you pay for electricity?” I said, I’m literally on my way to fix my tire please. I was so shocked in his customer service. I reminded him “it’s California law to provide FREE air and water.” To think so many other qualified people are out there with no jobs. I know it’s only a dollar but his disrespect was enough to make me leave a first review… ever. I hope you never get stranded in an emergency but good luck. Karma

Family owned and operated. They may seem rough around the edges to some, different cultures is all it is. They are all very friendly, they've given my kids a free .50 cent candy on a few occasions. It's not always money, money, money, it's a kind gesture towards the people within the community. So even if their price is a little bit higher than the next gas station, which usually isn't the case, but if it is I still come here. Because I prefer shell gas over most others. And because the friendly staff. By the way the car wash here is about a year old, maybe a year and a half old. So all the different cleaning tools within the carwash are pretty new, and so, they work the way they're supposed to. As opposed to places that have some of the parts looking dated or they are just broken, and end up getting a half ass wash. Good quality gas, great service.

Poor communication skills, confusing prices of wash/gas deals, staff look bored. I pumped gas in order to get a discount on my wash, but I didn't get a discount on the wash. They really need to beef up their customer service skills and clear up the pricing. In spite of all the flaws, their car wash service is the best priced one in the area. I only come here to wash my car.

I just moved to this area and am disappointed with my new local shell station. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt for the third time. I've been able to use my Ralphs rewards here once... two other times, it's saying I don't have points, when I'm certain I do. When I've tried to ask about it, I feel ignored. The person behind the counter is rude and dismissive. I'm trying to avoid this Shell station going forward 😔.

If i could give zero stars i would. Both of the male cashiers (i believe they are the owners) are 2 of thee rudest men ive ever came across. worst customer service & its always something with them. Make sure to check expiration date, as im constantly finding expired drinks & expired food. Won a scratcher? Dont try to cash it here cause they "don't have cash, you can only get a scratcher". None of the pumps ever have receipt paper in them & dont bother telling them cause they give zero Fs.
