I agree that it sucks having to pay for air, but who do you think has to pay for the electricity to run the compressor that pumps the air into your tires? Pay your $0.25 and quit whining.

Air and water the stuff you breath? Well then you can breath some air into your tires then Mr Google user lol the compressor is an expensive machine and when it brakes down its also expensive to get it fixed. Unless you buy motor vehicle fuel then you have to pay for the use of the compressor.

I stop by this particular gas station on Fridays to fill up and get my car washed. I've tried car washes in other gas stations in the local area and this Shell has the best one by far.

Good location to get some gas, also has a car wash station if you're looking to save a bit on gas and get a car wash at the same time. Harbor is a busy street but there are several food locations and shopping stores around this area. There is a small store in the middle of the gas station. Decent prices in the area, not too high but not too low either.

This place is conveniently located, easy to get in and out of, and has a car wash that does fairly well cleaning your car. But its not the cheapest price in the area. They tend to be $0.10 to $0.20 higher than others. They offer a discount if you purchase a car wash. If you want to use the vacuums before washing your car, they don't have them turned on. You have to park, walk all the way back to the booth to ask to turn them on, walk back, then use them. You'll likely run out of time before the shut off again. Ugh. One big negative about this place is the windshield cleaners! Dont use them! They have no soap or cleaning product in them. It's just water. Dirty dirty greasy water. Looks like they just take a hose and fill them up. Using them on your windshield will leave an oil smear that will mess with your vision when looking into the sun. The brush and squeegee are old and brittle, especially the squeegee. It isn't flexible anymore and will not properly wipe away the water, leaving even more streaking. They need to be replaced, badly.

People always standing next to the pumps asking for money. Just recently the owner closed down the vacuums after a specific time in the car wash water literally smells like feces highly recommend not coming here.

This lady is terrible with customer service. She so lazy and rud3. I needed some assistance with carwash and she blew me off in a rude way. Then I tried to purchase something and she said she's taking a break and to come back in 30minutess. Meanwhile she sits and is on her phone. This is a very bad look for shell as this is the 2nd time she does this with me. Don't know if it's personal or she's just a bad attendant

There were issues with the mobile payment system, which failed to provide the code for the purchased car wash. After several minutes of arguing, I managed to obtain the code from the attendant. However, things took a turn for the worse as the car wash did not function properly. Despite entering the code and receiving an "OK" message, the machine failed to start. The attendant placed the blame on me and refused to offer any assistance. I spent a few more minutes arguing with him, but he provided no guidance on how to appeal the situation. Frustrated, I took note of the attendant's name from his tag and returned to my car to write this review and contact customer service. Surprisingly, the attendant noticed me and approached me with refund documents. It became evident that he knew what needed to be done but chose not to take the appropriate action. His behavior was characterized by laziness and deceitfulness. I strongly urge the owner of the station to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter.

Until today, I would have given this place a good review. I have been going to this station for the last 2 years on a weekly basis, and typically fill up my tank with regular gas usually about 14 gallons. Additionally, every other week I also get a car wash, alternating between the basic package and the top package. The math is easy to add up, that I bring in good business to this company. I never really ask for their services like their compressed air, except maybe once a year. On Monday July 23rd at 5:30pm, I went to my go-to station with my partner's vehicle, as her air was very low in one tire. The attendant was nowhere to be seen and no sign in the window. I waited for 5-6 minutes along with another customer before someone returned. They did not acknowledge or apologize for the wait. I requested to have the air turned on. He asked if I bought gas or a car wash. I responded that I had not, for which he responded I would need to put in quarters to turn the air on. I asked if he could just turn in the air, and he refused again. I was perplexed because the one other time I needed their air, a different attendant turned in the air with no issue. This is in line with the response from other gas stations in the past. I claimed that it was illegal for him to not turn on the air (I was corrected later, as I will detail below). Thought absolutely not a professional way to respond, as a front line representative of the company, he said "I will bet you $100 dollars right now if you can show me that law". I Googled it, and he was correct because it only applies to customers who purchase gas. At the same time though, the amount of revenue & profit I bring to this location, it is not worth the negative customer service of refusing to provide complimentary compressed air. Needless to say, this Shell location needs to be better because this is not in-line with Shell's exemplary customer service. I will not be bringing my business to this location anymore. I may, however, get a quarter's worth in gas from time to time just to get the air turned on. I've not been taking advantage of the free service fully until now, so I will be sure to do so moving forward while giving the majority of my business elsewhere. Thanks Shell, for being penny-wise, but dollar-foolish. Just terrible and rude.

Beware – Potential Scam or Major Incompetence I came here recently to get gas and asked the cashier for $20 on pump 5. He confirmed it, but when I went to pump, it didn’t work. Turns out he may have accidentally (or intentionally) put it on pump 2. I went back to clarify, thinking it would be fixed, but instead he charged me another $20 and refused to give me a receipt for the first transaction, acting like it never happened. I ended up putting gas on pump 5, then went to pump 2 and sure enough, there was still $20 in credit sitting there. So I didn’t lose the money, but this experience felt shady. What really raised red flags is another customer came in with the exact same problem. The cashier told him the pump was correct, but clearly, the same issue happened. Whether it’s a scam or just negligence, I’m concerned. If I hadn’t checked pump 2, I could have walked away and lost $20. Just be very careful here, watch the pump number and insist on a receipt. Something’s not right.
