This Shell station is a little overpriced, but it is close to the beach and right off the freeway, so that explains the overpricing. There is a car wash on site and their convenience store is a 7-Eleven, so you can get slurpees, beers, and snacks. The gas station is pretty clean and well maintained.

I was at this shell gas station today 12/26/2021. Big sign outside saying "Masks are required inside" !! But both employees were wearing no masks inside?? When I approached the lady behind the counter about the sign outside and if masks are required or not she said. " The problem is the vaccine"? She continued ; I had covid before & got really sick and I know when I have it!! Then she said ; I know someone who got very sick after taking the vaccine!.... So she really couldn't answer my question and honestly, I was quite confused.. Either take your sign down or re-train your employees!!!

Incredibly worst employees ever. The Asian and Hispanic employees refuse the bathroom to a small girl that had to use the bathroom. The little girl had to go across the street to the other gas station with the subway inside. Incredible bad service. I can't believe Shell supports those actions.

The car wash is broken and the customer service is the WORST. I had to leave with a wet car and the clerk, Ivan, was extremely RUDE! He said he was having problems with fake money and that my problem was NOT a priority. He refused to give me a refund of my $10 for the car wash and he also refused to allow me to speak to the manager. He said “The manager is only here 8-430. The manager is only here 8-430. The manager is only here 8-430.” It was like talking to a broken record while a camera is watching you, ready to put you onto a tv show, like punk’d. And when I politely asked about a refund, same response—“No refund on car wash. No refund on car wash. No refund on car wash.” I finally asked him if he was ok, because he clearly wanted me to leave the store. I don’t know if the money situation was technically him being robbed by the other guy in the store, or what was going on. He could’ve apologized for the inconvenience, he could’ve offered a free car wash, anything but be the jerk that he was. DO NOT GO HERE!!

I love this place they have the best selection of Ben&Jerry’s . The blonde girl is a sweetheart. She works the day shift. The manager kept the place so clean during covid. Don’t even think about showing up there with a makeshift mask like a putting your face under your jacket . I did and got kicked out .(and I’m a regular) Anyway good for them , I have to follow the rules like everyone else . I like their commitment to the cause.

I’ve been coming to this gas station for a few years and I rarely ever had an issue with slow pumps, but over the past few months the pumps have been slow when I get gas and it’s got me worried because I’ve been told by multiple mechanics that a slow pump could be a sign that the pumps aren’t getting serviced properly which could result in poor quality fuel. I informed the cashier that my pump was slow today and she told me that they just got refilled earlier that morning, so I’m not sure why the pump was still slow. The cheaper price isn’t worth risking damage to my cars fuel system so I’m no longer going to be pumping gas here.

Gas prices are high but I like the car wash. They have Tuesdays / Wednesdays as $5 Car Wash Days Every week!!!! They have a new hose on the right side vacuum but it is a little short. The vacuum on the left has a real long hose and if you park in front of it you can reach both sides of your car. One downside, I am not sure what the deal is but someone seems to live in their car in one of the spots. It does make it really hard to use the newer vacuum. Also, it is a little awkward to be vacuuming your car next to someone asleep in their car with the door cracked open. Does the owner know someone blocks their vacuums and permanently takes up a valuable parking spot? It is pretty odd especially at night. Otherwise, one of my favorite gas stations.

Just stopped at the Shell station, which is a snack /run station in Ventura on Harbor Boulevard to fuel up and use the facilities ,,,it was the cleanest Restrooms in a gas station I’ve ever seen a nice hand washing station outside the door, and the staff was super friendly!
