Cody has been an angel coming out quickly after this other rv repair guy couldn’t figure out the issue for over a month. Cody figured the issue out in 10 minutes and is working with me to beat my insurance deadline for lapsing. Very knowledgeable and well worth having him fix your rv issues.

Sims RV has to be the best I have ever worked with. We travel alot and the first time we had issues we googled RV repair and they were the first choice with 5 star ratings. They absolutely proved why they are the best. They actually drove 2 hours just to assure we were up and back on the road and we didn’t have to wait long. We again were traveling and seen that they were not based in Kansas anymore and had moved to Texas. We had an issue and by the grace of God when we called they drove to Grand Lake in Oklahoma and again proved why they are the best! Cody is simply an amazing guy with amazing skills and work ethics. There is no other RV company I would choose. Thank you Sims RV for being over the top in all that you guys do!

I recently purchased a seemingly good used travel trailer from and individual that quickly turned into a lemon. Cody with Sims RV Repair was prompt to come out and look over the damage that was discovered after the purchase. The repairs were extensive to replace flooring and structural timbers for the slide support. Cody was able to give me a good ballpark estimate with the understanding that more work may be needed that could not yet be seen. All in all, Cody and his crew were able to make all the necessary repairs to the trailer within the time frame originally stated. The final price for all the repairs was very agreeable and I would highly recommend Sims RV Repair for any repairs you may need. I would also recommend that Cody look at any RV you may plan on purchasing to help avoid any extensive repairs and expense. I am very satisfied with the work performed for the price of the repairs.

We recently moved to Texas City. Today, we met a couple, at a Shell station, who was having an issue with their RV. A mail carrier helped us find a local RV repair shop. Excellent service, the young couple was awesome, and Cody took care of the issue in an hour. Very reasonably priced. Now we know who to recommend.

I picked and willingly paid extra for Cody's service because during our conversation he seemed invested and knowledgeable. He came out and diagnosed the problem being the motor. He came back out and replaced the motor but the awning still wasn't working. He said he will be back and fix the wiring issue. 4 weeks later he has not picked up any of my calls, responded to any voice mails, texts or communication. He ghosted us without any conversation, potential of paying more for labor or anything. Now we have to pay someone else another $125 to come out and fix it. Should've just gone with the other person from the get go. I'm extremely disappointed in his professionalism and running a business. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. HE WILL LEAVE YOU HANGING APPARENTLY. It's sad because we really liked him until he did all this.

Assisted us in ordering the part we needed and explained how we could easily make the repair ourselves, but offered his assistance if we needed him once part was received. On Friday my hot water heater started leaking, I started calling rv repair people, was told by a few that they could not be here till monday. I kept searching and found Sims RV, he told me he could be here in a hour, on inspection he told me the tank was cracked, he recommended the on demand type of water heater, he did not have to remove old unit, he installed the new unit under the sink in the cabinet in a space I did not use, so within a couple of hours I had a brand new water heater. Cody Sims work ethics and integrity were apparent immediately. He explained exactly what he needed to do and the unit was cheaper than replacing it with the original model. Cody's attitude was so positive and confident. It was a pleasure having him in my home. He really likes his job and shows. The pricing was very reasonable and labor charges were beyond fair. After all his hard work he asked if there was anything else I wanted him to look at. To now, have Cody as my rv tech is a real blessing, I will use him for any future needs and would recommend him to all. I had a wonderful hot shower, there was even hot water at the end...something I have not had for 6 yrs.

Cody traveled all the from Texas City the day after I called to help with a roof issue on my RV that we needed done immediately. Cody Sims was certainly the right person for the job of fixing my 5th wheel RV. I had a bad breaker, he knew what to do to fix the problem; both ac units were not working at all, no interior lights, again, he fixed the problems; along with installing my converter box and hooked up and adjusted the battery rewiring and more. This job called for an experienced, skilled and knowledgeable technician, of which Cody exhibited each of the aforementioned. He's definitely a people person with problem solving, "know how skills", needing no handholding or help. I would most highly recommend him to as a #1 fixer for your RV and would readily, without a second thought, refer him to any and everyone.

Cody is a dishonest person and a thief. 4 months ago I was having a problem with the levelers on my motorhome. I received approval from Lippert that they would cover the pump under warranty. So I called Cody. He said I would have to PAY $1700 up front and when he got reimbursed, would reimburse me. After 3 months of stringing me on with lies, a month ago he said Lippert had issued the check. I never heard anything further or received payment from him and now won’t answer my calls, emails or texts. BEWARE

We recently had our RV floor repaired in the slide room, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Cody went above and beyond he stayed late to make sure everything was completed properly and even came back the next day to double check the seals around the RV. He noticed a few small areas that needed attention, pointed them out to us, and took care of them right away. He also inspected our roof just to be thorough and ensure there were no other issues. The quality of his work is outstanding the slide repair is now even better than what the manufacturer originally installed. Professional, honest, and dedicated. Cody is hands down the best mobile RV repair person I have ever worked with in my 11 years of RVing. He was a pleasure to work with, he was honest and straightforward, he truly went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of, and he was extremely fair with his pricing. Our AC died while in 85+ degree, humid Texas temperatures and Cody was able to get the necessary parts replaced and get us back up and running so quickly. After that, we literally altered the itinerary of our RV road trip so that we could stay in Houston longer and have Cody assist with more needs with our RV. The only bad thing I have to say about Cody Sims is that he doesn't live closer to us! ;) I would absolutely go to Cody with all of my RV repair and update needs if he was in MN where I live. If you are anywhere near Houston or are even just traveling through that area and need help with your RV, you 100% need to call Cody. Thank you again, Cody!!!
