The sunroof on my 2015 ML400 suddenly stopped working; unfortunately it was open about half way. A Mercedes dealership in the Atlanta area had the car for a week, and the repair estimates kept going up. First, the sunroof motor needed to be replaced ($2300+), but there were likely other issues that caused the motor to go out. I asked them to just get the roof closed manually, and that would be sufficient. No way I'm putting that kind of money into a 10-year-old vehicle. Meanwhile, I found Solo Motorsports in Gainesville, which is closer to where I live. Called and spoke to Julie. She was very kind and knowledgeable, and assured me there is a way to close the sunroof manually (just as I had read online). She said they would be glad to help if the dealer can't get it done. Next day the dealer tells me they worked and worked, but cannot get the roof closed all the way. Something is stuck in the rails. Now the repair estimate is literally more than the value of the car! I called Julie again, out of desperation. She got David (owner) on the phone with me. He said what the dealer was telling me could be true, but no way to know without seeing the vehicle. Said if I could bring it to him he would do everything he could to try and get the roof closed, but no promises. My husband picked up the car from the dealer and drove it straight to Solo. David had the sunroof closed in less than 10 minutes, using the hex wrench tool as described in the owner's manual and countless online posts. Why the dealer could not accomplish this is beyond my understanding. But I was thrilled when my husband called to tell me David got it done! AND, David would not let my husband pay him anything!! WHAT?? Who does that these days??? That is exceptional customer service with a huge dose of kindness on top!! Many, many thanks to David and Julie at Solo Motorsports. You can bet I will be happy to take my car there for service anytime!!

After getting less than sub-par service from another well known import shop in Gainesville, on our 2015 Audi Q7, I decided to give Solo a shot. It's getting really hard to trust a lot of shops nowadays, but Andy and Zeke were absolutely amazing and they answered any and all questions I had and didn't make me feel dumb for asking, unlike the other place in Gainesville we were previously dealing with. Both of them are top notch guys and by far the most professional I've ever dealt with from any shop. Zeke installed some new JH Motorsports bolt-on high flow catalytic converters I supplied, then diagnosed and repaired a misfire due to a faulty fuel injector. I opted to replace all 6 injectors while they were in there at Zeke's recommendation and I'm glad I did! They had the car in & out in and running better than it did the day we brought it home!! She will MOVE now! If you're looking for a shop for your euro car that will treat you right and not try to rip you off, this is the place! They 1000% have our buisness in the future!

Philip and team at Solo Motorsports recently did my major 30k mile maintenance for my vehicle. From beginning to end, their customer service is unbelievably good!! They will call you and text you and email you to communicate any changes or to confirm what the plan is so you're comfortable with moving forward with any work that needs to be done. Phillip was great to work with and communicated everything with me at every step. Could not be any happier with their care and service. I'll not only be back but I now consider them my main mechanic, I'll be bringing my other cars their way for service. Highly recommend 👏

David and Julie are amazing. I let my car sit there for 7 months after they repaired it and they couldn't have been nicer about it. By the way, I don't recommend anyone else leaving their car for that long. When I brought my car there last year I was quoted over $5000 from the dealer to repair it. Solo was over half off the dealer price. Having a place like this to repair your vehicle is a rare thing and I would take advantage of the opportunity whenever you need your car serviced.

I can’t thank you enough, I was in a tough place trying to prepare myself and my family for a funeral out of town and in need of an oil service on my cayenne diesel.
