This shop is The Most Honest auto Repair shop I have ever experienced. Windshield light was on and it did not spray. I thought the windshield pump was broken, so the spray did not come out. After the inspection, the owner told me that it was simply clogged. He just charged me $4.95. Wow! Many other shops would have asked to replace the pump.

I've been taking my BMW and LEXUS to get services and repaired here for the last 4-5 years. Excellent customer's services, professional and friendly. Sam, Sal and the rest of the gang are almost on points...and price wise, they only charged me a fraction of the dealers would, even with the factory parts. These guys are awesome.

My dad has been bringing his vehicles here for probably 20+years. And I have been doing the same since I bought my first car. They've never made a disingenuous recommendation. Service is first come, first serve though, so sometimes you've gotta work things into your schedule.

South Coast Auto Clinic is my go to for all jobs that I can't tackle myself. Being a home mechanic means I'm skeptical of most major repair shops and especially dealers. I trust these guys with every one of my cars. On top of that, I have referred everyone in my family to take their cars there and they have come through every time with flying colors. They know what their doing and do not over sell you on things that don't need to be done. Don't get me wrong, they let you know of the "must do's" "will likely need to be done soon's" and the "need to consider planning on doing in the future's". I have referred so many people here that I pretty much am an outside sales person for them! 🤣

Honest and competent, these guys have been doing great work on our cars for years. If you are looking a trustworthy shop for your vehicle maintenance, you just found it. I especially like that they put themselves in their customer's shoes, and will make suggestions on what work should be prioritized if budgets are tight, and what work can safely wait until your wallet has been replenished. If you're procrastinating taking your car for that oil change because you're worried about "what else they might find", or whether you might get stuck with a bill for some trumped-up work, just do you and your car a favor and come here.

They take care of you. We had a water pump replacement last year that ended up leaking after a few months. We took it back in, and they warrantied the part and replaced it at no cost. Their prices are really good and they do great work!

Excellent! They do just what you need, advise you of upcoming service needs, and they don't overcharge you. We've been going there for several years with a 13-y.o. Ford and 2-y.o. Hyundai. I've seen many other makes/mods there. They are knowledgeable, courteous, clean, and friendly. They offer free rides back to work/home after you drop off your car. No negatives. It's hard to find a good car mechanic that has all this... South Coast is a keeper!

Have never had better auto service. My dad, mom, brother, sister, and all of our significant others will bring our cars to South Coast. These guys are professional, courteous, reasonable, and will always be honest with you and your vehicle. If you've struggled to find a good and decent mechanic that will not overcharge you for what you are looking for, these guys are it. So far so good. I just dropped off my Honda CR-V to be checked for starting issue. I will make a review update soon. *Update* Keeping that 5 stars for sure! Sam was very friendly and helpful. This place is one of those shop you wish you would have heard of years ago because they would have saved you a ton of money that one time . I trust this place with my car, been going to them for oil changes and even more intense car work. Always informative, honest and helpful. They've never tried to upsell me. They do a pretty good job at holding their completion promise. Just wish they would follow up on some additional work my car needed, they said they would but still haven't. Not a huge deal because I can always call them.

Been going to South Coast Auto for many years. They are honest, hard working and reliable. They will tell you what needs to be done ASAP and what can wait so you can budget for it. Over the years we have brought over 10 cars that the family has owned and they have always done a great job. Had an Audi TT that they worked on many times. There was one time that they could not work on it properly due to needing a specialized tool. They told me that up front and recommended a shop that they knew and trusted. But I appreciate that they were honest and didn't take on something that they couldn't do correctly. True professionals. Can't recommend them enough. Have sent several friends and colleagues to them and they have all had the same experience

straight up lied to me over the phone. I called ahead of time to make sure I could get a free inspection/diagnosis and they said "yes it will be free". I drive 20 miles here because of how good they apparently are and they tell me I have to pay $75 for the inspection. Make sure you are very clear with what you are asking before you come here.
