I called and asked them if they could replace my right side lower control arm on my Nissan. I worked as a mechanic most of my life and I was sure that was my problem. I am now old and have some medical issues which keeps me from working on my own cars. I dropped the car off and a few hours later I got a call telling me the cars only problem is sway bar links. I said, great, go ahead and replace them. Then, a few hours later I get another call telling me my car needs a new lower control arm because the bushings are shot! THATS WHAT I TOLD THEM ON THE PHONE AND THEN AGAIN WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF!!! Way to run up the bill!!! I did the troubleshooting, they said I was wrong, and then $200 plus dollars later they found the problem I told them was there. Needless to say I picked up the car and hopefully when the weather warms up I’ll find the strength to repair it myself. I was hoping to find a repair shop I could trust instead I went to this place. BEWARE!!!

Brought In My 2007 Mustang GT To Get All 4 Tires Replaced On 20inch Wheels. They Gave Me Two Options They Thought Would Be Best I picked the Uniroyal Tiger Paw GTZ All Season. They did a fantastic job and the tires look amazing. I was amazed at the low prices for the itemized list for the service. I will definitely be going back to Southside Tire and will be getting my fiancé’s tires done soon too. MATT is the man!! his knowledge quick response to questions I had made me feel secure that they knew exactly what they were doing. Very satisfied customer! 10/10

I can not stress how many times Southside Tire De Pere has gotten me out of really bad situations really quick. Matt is the absolute best service advisor and I've been working with him for many years. They always go way above and beyond in their service. If you need tire repairs or replacement go to Southside!

Edit, 1/22/2026: South Side Tire and Auto WAS my trusted mechanic for 4 years. Had my Buick towed to them because I had two passenger side tires blow out on Cardinal Ln in Howard. THEY NO LONGER DO CAR ALIGNMENTS? They gave my car back, without telling me the alignment was off, had to call and complain to get an answer… While the staff was polite, I would like to make it clear, I’ve never heard of a mechanic being unable to do alignments and they recommended me to Fleet Farm or Walmart… I paid almost $1,000 (for high quality tires, which I do trust they were genuinely trying to help me with) ; just so they could tell me I needed to have my car repaired by real professionals. My recommendation, to the owner, is to HIRE SOMEONE THAT CAN DO ALIGNMENTS, YOU ARE A TIRE AND REPAIR SHOP! You are turning away PAYING CUSTOMERS! I trusted this shop, to have my car towed to them from across the entire city to them… NO MORE. I’ll bring my car back to them, when they can prove they can do a complete and comprehensive repair and service on a road vehicle… 2021 Review: I was referred to Southside Tire by a family friend, and I am VERY glad I listened to them. I had a bad water pump on my Buick and the team there was quick, honest, and did a great job! I can finally say I found a mechanic that I can trust. This review is my first experience there, and I will be going to Southside for any future troubles knowing I will be treated fairly.

Five stars! Easy to work with. Matt is awesome. I brought in a laundry list of an estimate from a dealership. Southside Tire reviewed it and quoted me significantly less. They're honest and reliable. As a woman, there is no place I would rather go than Southside Tire. You don't have to get your dad/husband/brother on the phone like you would at a dealership.

I have been here 3 times now, and I will not return anymore. The employee who swapped the tires on my truck has no respect for my personal truck. I have a customs exhaust on it, and they cold started it a couple times to hear it, and then before they drove it out decided to give the throttle a quick tap to the floor and give it a good rev, and then was hard on the gas leaving the building. If the people I am paying to do work on my truck can not respect my truck to be nice with it, they do not deserve my business. If your very protective of your vehicle like I am, I would not come here.

These guys are absolutely fantastic. Anyone who thinks all automotive places are the same should come here. They just saved me over $1200 in unnecessary cost on my '15 Cherokee Trailhawk, they're pleasant to work with and they're honest. Truly I can't imagine going anywhere else. I have given Southside Tire in DePere all my tire business since 2015 or possibly longer. Unfortunately, over the last two years my wife and I have noticed a definite lack of completing work in a professional manner. The business experience I received on Dec. 31, 2024 will end all work to this company. I supplied 4 tires to get changed out. Soon after the work started the manager (I assume) came out with a tire and said it could not be used because the bead was damaged. So at some point the tech damaged the $400 10 ply tire on the 31st or before. Sent truck out with TPMS System needing service. Called back and she literally said couldn't get one to set. Sent truck out without telling me. Unbelievable. Back on Jan 3rd 2025 to fix. Manager got all Sensors to connect. Manager gave keys back and said tires were now low on air. This is a tire shop, I must be in bizarro world. Had no accountability. Wow!!

We had an issue traveling. In Wisconsin. Stopped at 2 local shops for an RV repair. Both were unable to help. The pumps Firestone michelin dealer suggested Southsude. They were overall fast and efficient. Near closing time so at one point they had 4 people assisting. Highly recommend

If I could give this place a negative number I would they did an alignment on my truck have less than 5000 miles on my tires and they are garbage. They do not want to do anything about it. You can’t even talk to a supervisor above Dave Dave tells you oh well it’s not my problem that it happened. Don’t ever go here.

This place and staff.... completely salvaged our mostly awful day and might have helped save our business. Our semi truck has had nonstop major issues for weeks since we bought it. On our way to unload; two of the tires had a major blow out and we barely made it to unload. After unloading we called many and probably all of the tire places around here. They took us in immediately. And since we called in advance they had our tire and new rims ready, and got us out within a few minutes so we did not need to miss our pick up. The staff and business is amazing. Without that load our company may have died out if im being honest. Its been very awful for us with breakdowns, but these guys gave us some semblance of hope. Thank you Dave, stacy and crew

I can't say enough good things about Southside Tire!! We needed two rv tires for our son's RV, which was broken down on the side of the Interstate. We pulled in and a gentleman came out to help carry in the two tires. Our receipt said salesman # 00071. Thank you sir for an awesome experience 🥰
