I have used Special k on 2 occasions. Both times I had a great experience. Last week I needed a tuneup before I went on a trip. At the last minute he found a coolant leak. They worked very hard and fixed the issue and I was able to leave on my trip. My truck not only hard more power but my gas mileage went from 13 mpg to 19. Great job. I will always use Special K.

Found my mechanic for life! I am somewhat new to the area and have not had to deal with any mechanics. I was having an issue with my car and went to another mechanic initially, but did not care for the treatment I received. Went to Ralph for a second opinion and he eased my stress and provided me with options. Recently, I went back for something else and he took care of my car right on the spot. It's hard to find trustworthy people these days, but you can trust Ralph! Thank you! So grateful!

Dropped my son's truck off for left and right upper and lower ball joints,tie rod, and alignment. Picked it up owner says if there is anything wrong bring it back.......drove down the road heard metal grinding. Got home saw the front tires curved in at the top to much toe. Took the truck back they pulled the metal dust cover back so it didn't rub. That they fixed!! Now tires are curved to much out at the top not enough toe. Truck pulls hard to left and steering wheel is off to the left. I will not be returning lesson learned with this shop. I'll be sending them my next bill for a new alignment and adjust to the toe . Seeking reimbursement, we'll see if the owner makes it right after we paid over 2k bill.

I am very late putting up a review but better late than never. :) this place is wonderful! They took care of our truck without having to go back to them for the same issue. They were truthful with the repair needed and took the next step and repaired our window (which was not part of the fees) and now we have a working window. They even called a few months later to make sure we’re still happy! It shows they care and I greatly appreciate that! I don’t have luck with mechanics but I’ll be sticking with these guys!!

I use to go to this shop with my past two cars 350z and civic si. The last time I went was timing replace on my k series. I say after 8 months my timing covers was leaking g called Ralph about warranty on it he said 6 months. Small shop big shop Jenkins honda covers la or and parts for a year. Don't waste time or money with this shop. And he will say drop it off and about a week later you will get it. Jenkins 1 1/2 day. No leaks.

I was referred to Ralph with Special K automotive because my air conditioner wasn’t functioning correctly. I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He changed my spark plugs and did my oil change. And was honest about the minor repair my AC needed. It’s been over 2 weeks and my AC is still blowing nice and cold. Great customer service and very knowledgeable about cars! I recently purchased a Maserati all the lights were on they gave me an oil change and checked my car for any other issues. While waiting the owners were friendly and made me comfortable making me feel like I was at home there. I got my oil & filter changed and tires rotated yesterday for the 1st time at Special K Automotive Repair & Performance. I will definitely be returning. The owner drove me back to work and returned later with my car. My tire light came on today (probably due to the cold weather) and the owner came to my office to fill the tires and provide a free car wash. That is what I call service!

Took my BMW X 1 here today For front brake pads, rotors, and brake sensor to be replaced. Ralph and the other Mechanic very friendly. The price was very good compared to other mechanics in the area. Not only did I get my brake system done. I got a free car wash and a free oil change. The oil change alone cost is around $160 for my car. I will be back thank you guys.

Took my vehicle here to get all spark plugs and wires changed a few months back. I provided the OEM parts. Truck starts driving poorly one I take it to a mechanic I trust and what do we find……a couple of the plugs actually weren’t changed at all and cheap wires were installed. Whether it’s dishonesty or a miss it’s unacceptable. Take your business elsewhere.

I had the pleasure of Ralph at Special K Automotive Repair properly re-install & adjust a set of new coilovers that were installed on my car and do a proper alignment since my car was now pretty low. I had him remove and install new rain guards on all 4 doors. He work and work ethic was OUTSTANDING, as were the staff keeping me updated on the progress of the work. If you are in need of work on your car and in the area of the shop, let them do the work, you WON’T be disappointed !!!
