This place use to be called American Transmission but i guess they are trying to trick people cuz of the bad reviews but this is the worst took my aunts car for transmission work they gave me a date it would be ready and took 5 days longer she lives in Utah and told them to please make sure to fix it right the car didn't even make it pass Victorville....we called them and they said they would pay for towing when we got the the shop they said they wouldn't pay for it took 1 week to fix it my dad had to drive it to Utah and all the way over there it gave him trouble called the mechanic again he said he go to pick it up never went...after a week of broken promises we went to the shop right now and he acted like he knew nothing about it and he see what he can do with no promise we even took the car to a mechanic in Utah to run diagnostic and it came out it was the transmission the owner of the shop said he didn't need to see any paper and walked away with no real resolution...please take your car anywhere else but here and they quoted her one price and when she picked up the car the first time they tried to charge her more...WORST PLACE

NOT RECOMENDABLE!! They took my car early January 2023 and up to this date they still haven’t fixed it. They do not update you on anything. It has been more than 5 months since they took my car. They don’t respond their phone call’s either. I had to go down to the shop for them to be able to respond and hear an update about my car. When I show up to see the car it has a whole flat tire

Stop whatever you do do not take your car to Star one Auto they will rip you off. They took my car and was supposed to put a rebuilt engine in it and they heard it so bad that I had to go out and spend $10,000 on a new engine And they took my money my $5000 and ran

Great experience with Star 1 Auto. The pricing was very reasonable and the customer service was great. Even with the holidays and bad weather, they were able to get the part and complete the repair much faster than another shop that told us it would take 14 days and cost more than double. Luis kept us updated throughout the process and made everything easy. Overall, very happy with the service and would recommend them.

I’ll be honest I was a little skeptical about coming here after seeing some older negative reviews. But I learned the shop is now under new management, so I decided to give it a chance. I started noticing my car was slipping when shifting and making a weird noise, so I brought it in to get checked out. They explained the issue clearly and were upfront about the pricing, which I really appreciated. The repair was done quicker than I expected and my car has been running great since. I’d definitely come back again (:
