Gotten several oil changes here, they were busy this time and I went somewhere else. Good thing I did because the last oil change this place did they did not put an oil filter back in my vehicle.

I went there for smog check,didn't the tech told me he could not see the cat converter number i told him that it was on top in between the chassis,than he said to have have it reweld again.so i went 10 street east and the guy was check the cat.converter and 15 min.i had the car ready

Crook that tells you that your vehicle didn't pass smog test so that he takes another $20 for a second test. Avoid this crook at all cost. This place should be shut by the BAR for not following regulations. Owner very rude with customers. Other reviews are put by friends of owner so be careful or you will get bamboozled like me.

I have been getting my vehicles smogged there for several years. The individual doing the smog checks (I apologize for not remembering his name), is very personable and just an all around great guy. He does a great job and is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place to have your smog checks done.

I went to this establishment for a smog check and my vehicle failed. I was given the printout explaining the reason that it failed and I was simply told that it is an expensive fix and to take it to my mechanic. Taking the advice of the gentlemen, I take it to my mechanic, analyzes my car, sees that the error can also refer to the gas cap, runs a smog check on it, and it passes. I was charged $30 by Star Auto Repair and I was told that if I bring it back once it is fixed to be tested, that I would only be charged $30 instead of $40. Thanks, but no thanks. I didn't go for a smog check but to fix the transmission and I paid 1500 and 6 months after I got the transmission not working again? The owner seems nice but they charge me for something they didn't fix. Don't go there. By the way when I go my car back "all fixed" I knew the transmission wasn't fixed but the guy told me to take it back if I had the engine light on so I did and he said I didn't pay enough for a better transmission. So don't go waste your time or money at this place.

Zero stars , they’re in charge of filling up propane and every time you ask them it’s like you’re bothering them , they ignore you , they give you attitude. Don’t offer the service if you don’t want to do it , very unprofessional

They’re in charge of the propane tank refills , be ready for bad service , they ignore you and take their time , if you don’t want to refill people’s tanks then why offer the service , this was my 3rd time coming back and it’s always the same
