I had them do my car change of breaks, fast forward there was some items for the drivers side that were missing, I paid for and they were ordered. Came back and fixed them and told me that the breaks will make some sounds coz they were all new. So I heard the noise, and thought it was normal only for it not to go away and I reached back to them. I mentioned the squeaky sound hadn’t gone away after break change only to be told, “ Ma’am with all do respect you choose to contact me almost 3 weeks after we completed your work about squeaking brakes. I would have to charge you the diagnostic fee at this point in time. That’s $100 diagnostic plus a $30 mobilization fee. Please let me know if you want to be put on the schedule. Otherwise have a blessed week” How was the sound my fault when he clearly mentioned that I would experience it? Am a dissatisfied customer.

I called several mobile mechanics in the area. I wasn't exactly certain of the repairs needed because this 2008 Mazda CX-9 was just purchased from a private seller. I was pretty sure it needed an alternator though. NO business wanted give me any idea of labor hours needed or commit to a fee, .....Except for Travis. He thoroughly explained there would be additional charges if other problems existed and the proper functioning of the alternator relied on another repair. I was given a quote for the mobile service and labor which was very reasonable. He and Mike showed up right when he said they would. They went right to work, very professional. I could tell right away Travis ( the owner ) was very much a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. The best feeling in the world when dealing with car problems is knowing you are in good hands. Starks Auto/Travis answered my phone call at 9pm on a Saturday night. We were safe that night at a campsite, but our timing wasn’t working out to meet the next day. Fast forward, we thought we fixed the issue Sunday AM. Travis called and text me checking to make sure we were able to get back on the road. I thought we fixed the issue, then we literally got stranded on the side of the road while towing a travel trailer. On a Sunday afternoon, I called him for the second time and within an hour he had the part we needed and was fixing our truck. Thank you so much. You absolutely saved our entire week. Very rare that someone gets back to you these days, but Travis went above and beyond!

Today, my friend, her son, and I slid into the ditch. Everyone was ok, but Mr. Stark pulled over and helped us out immediately. He placed out cones and let my friend and her son get in his vehicle. When we got the ok from the police he pulled us out and made sure we were good before we left, and he did amazing today. I'm grateful for this man. I would highly recommend him because you don't meet too many 5 people like this man here. Thank you again. We made it home safely. Plus, he gave us a guys number if something similar happened to us. Called Starks Auto today to check out my Honda Accord that wouldn’t start, and after just a few minutes of looking at it, they told me the timing belt was broken and that I’d probably need to replace the entire car. Their diagnosis felt really extreme and rushed, so I called another mechanic for a second opinion. They quickly identified the real issue: a bad starter. Flexteck had my car running again within a few hours. It was clear to me that Starks Auto didn’t take the time to properly diagnose the problem. For a no-start issue, checking the starter should be one of the first steps. My dad (who isn’t even a mechanic!!!) had guessed that it was my starter before I even made the call. Instead, I was nearly misled into giving up on a perfectly fixable car. I can’t recommend this place to anyone based on my experience. And to the guy who told me how bad he felt for my “incredibly unfortunate situation” I’m back on the road with my car:)) Reply: I owe you no thanks since your diagnosis was wrong! My car is working perfectly after getting the starter replaced. Same engine same timing belt. It's okay, we all make mistakes!

Mr. Stark was clear with his communication and punctual with his stated ETA. He kindly and timely worked on my moped to solve a carburetor problem for cold starts, or so I suspected. He checked the fuel line and the filter was dirty from dirty fuel. He cleaned the filter and helped with carburetor questions for cold starts. He worked quickly and his finished work was good. I intend on using his service again, should the need arise. I recommend Mr. Stark for your help as he conveniently comes to you to work on your vehicle. Five stars, easily.

0/10. Avoid at all costs. Technically skilled and great mechanic but terrible business owner with disappointing ethics. Still owes me $500 for a part that I never received despite multiple promises that it would be refunded. Completely ghosting me now. Bad reputation when you start asking around... I tried my best to amicably and patiently (since July) solve the issue but was only met with rudeness. lying, and now silence. He will respond here and claim he doesn't know me or that it's somehow my fault or my bank's. But chats and calls prove otherwise. "Have a blessed day" and don't waste your time with this one. Plenty of other ethical mechanics in the area. ***to respond to the below…the credit card refund was cancelled on my end because he said he would get my money back. The only hysterical part is on me for believing he would do the right thing and I would ever see my money again.

ATTENTION LIBERTY STUDENTS: if you are having complications with your car on campus, I 100% recommend Starks. I cannot say enough good things. He came out in freezing cold weather and put so much care and effort into fixing my car. Even when there were complications, he stayed until everything was absolutely perfect and made sure I was safe and taken care of. He went above and beyond, worked with genuine kindness, and didn’t rush or cut corners. I am incredibly grateful and would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.
