Nate is the owner and has a top notch location in Kapolei. This shop is extremely clean, spacious, and well staffed with extremely careful, vibrant, and experienced auto care representatives. I believe there is more than one location, but I choose to drive from kailua to the west side to meet the owner Nate in person. Nate truly cares about his customers. He is extremely professional, kind, and shows mad aloha. Nate puts customer service, care, and open communication first. I will be coming to Nate for all my detail and auto care needs. It’s rare to find auto care shops which truly value customers and relationships. Many shops value capitalism and quotas. If you are looking for service that comes from the heart and a level of care that makes your smile smile, call Nate. He and his team will go above and beyond for you.

I took my car to be washed, the first time they did it well, the second time, it wasn't bad and the third time I took it, I think they just wiped it down. When I got home and looked, my car was dirty. Be careful, It doesn't look like it's a serious company.

Loved my experience with this place! It had a perfect package for pre-shipping detailing of cars. The service was great, and i was very pleased with the finished result. They underestimated the time it would take to finish the detailing, but it was worth it because they were so thorough, just good to know for time planning. Definitely recommend:)

I called ahead of time for a wash three hours before closing, and the front desk said to come in; it’s a bit slow. I arrived on site and was told they were backed up on coating. I wasted my gas to drive 25mins to their shop. UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Gas is expensive in Hawaii; stop giving customers false hope and false information, damn it!! Another thing was that the cashier was sitting there, acting like another customer. I wouldn't have known he was the cashier if I hadn't approached him after sitting there for five minutes. Also, I see that the owner only replies to good reviews and doesn't reply to low/bad ratings. Way to stay professional Street Hawaii. Looks like they care about the money more the needs of the customers. TOO MANY RED FLAGS!!

Walked into Street Shine Hawaii and the place was completely empty—no one at the front, no greeting, nothing. After waiting, someone finally came over just to tell me to come back tomorrow… even though they’re closed for the 4th of July? Tried calling the owner and got ignored twice. Not a professional experience at all.

Id give 0 if there is. They dented my tesla that i just recently bought and havent gotten anything yet. They asked for a quoute so i asked gerber collisions to do the quoute for me. Its been 2 months and i havent got any check or whatever. They wanted me to go to the body shop that they know and for cheaper price. I dont go to shops that i dont know so no way. Anyway i havent got any updates from them yet. Now i totally lost hope with the repairs or the cost of it. I recommend going to another shop.

Took my vehicle in, it’s a older Tesla X, only had it for an hour, but I’m extremely impressed with the level of their work and detail. Very kind and friendly and looks like they went above and beyond. Will review again when I’ve tested the quality of the ceramic coating, but thus far very happy with the job they did

Nate and the team at Street Shine have taken care of me over the past few years. It's not easy running a business, but they really went beyond the call to make sure I was happy and the job was done beyond my expectations. Specifically, I was amazed how they were able to remove stubborn water spots from the windshield, side panels and wheels. I have to park my car near sprinkler system and water spots are an issue. I'm getting ready to sell a car I've had since 2021, and it really looks fantastic. I was not expecting it to be so shiny and new looking. I have gone to the Kapolei branch with 2 of our cars, and will be back with my recent purchase for lifetime coating. My experience has been excellent. I've had great personal service, and I appreciate the effort they put into their business. My thanks to Nate and the team at Street Shine.

Monday I called to set a Thursday appointment for a $199 Exterior Deep Clean. After the call I figured I would do a recon myself of the Kapolei Street Shine to make a down payment. I was greeted by Anton, who came out and took the time to do a walk around my car and give me an assessment of what can and cannot be helped with the service. He was very professional & engaging, talking story and asking smart probing questions and I share with him that I plan on keeping my 2005 Scion TL 'till the wheels fall off.' Anton then immediately recommended the $299 Ceramic Coating Package. So I was sold on investing an extra $100 for 3 year Quality Exterior Protection. So today, when I picked up my finished vehicle -- I was ABSOLUTELY IMPRESSED at the nite & day DIFFERENCE & the ATTENTION 2 EVERY SINGLE DETAIL of my vehicle!!! THE ENTIRE Team Kapolei Street Shine are EXPERT, extremely efficient, highly hardworking, and super friendly ahine specialists. Once upon a time, I had my own Car Detailing hustle as a full-time UH Manoa student, so i understand and know the precise details to look for in execution and all the various nooks and crannies. With that being said, if I could give STREET SHINE a 10 STAR review, I would make it 100 STARZ. AUTOMATIC. As I was leaving, it felt as if I was driving my Scion off The TOYOTA Showroom Lot with ZERO CAR NOTE!!! :-) I am now a rolling Street Shine Advertisement myself and will share my personal experience of SUPERIOR QUALITY WORK & STAFF CUSTOMER SERVICE of STREET SHINE!! DO NOT COME HERE IF ITS RAINING! EVEN A DRIZZLE WILL HAVE THEM DENY YOU SERVICE. I came in with plans to do a quick wash and long story short I was denied service because it was “raining”. To be clear, it was drizzling. I didn’t know Mike Hagi was working at Street Shine Hawaii. Besides, what does it matter if it’s raining? I’m paying for my car to have a quick wash, why does it matter what happens after it’s finished being washed? If you guys are denying me service on the premise that the rain will get it dirty again, you guys should just stop cleaning cars entirely because the cars will always get dirty after you wash it, regardless if it’s raining or not. It’s my car anyways, I don’t care for it getting dirty again (it’s almost like that’s what happens to cars when you’re done washing them 😧). The best part? I wasn’t even asking for much as far as the washing goes, I just needed to rinse the dirt off before I have guests over as I didn’t have time to do it myself. I did not appreciate their vagueness and waiting over 10 minutes for someone’s lunch break to end just to be told that they won’t wash it due to a little bit of drizzle. To me it just sounded like the employees were either too lazy to wash it or they don’t care about their customers if they’re not coming in for a full $500 detail. I would’ve been more than happy to tip the employees more than cost of the wash for their hard work coming from someone who used to detail cars myself but lazy unprofessional people don’t deserve to be rewarded.
