I started going there because I was very unhappy with the place I was using. They do a great job! Old car and this is my second service. I am due for another one next week. Nice people. Money is tight and they tell me what has to be done and what can wait a bit. I am happy with them!

This must be what it feels like to have your pocket picked. They deliberately omitted certain charges when they gave me the quote over the phone knowing full well I wouldn't have agreed to pay 75$ for a headlight bulb to be replaced along with other work they were doing. (Its a 10$ part and requires no tools to replace on my truck, it takes seconds). He made it sound like a courtesy since I was spending several hundred dollars for another repair. That's on me, I should have asked. I looked at the invoice when it was time to pay. I asked him to justify the 75$ charge for something that takes less than a minute to replace and all he said was "you agreed to the quote over the phone". I said I didn't want to pay for that, I even took the bulb out a tried to give it back to him (took 15 seconds to take out)He said again "you agreed to the quote over the phone". I asked him if they were willing to sacrifice any future business from me over a disputed 75$, and his coworker standing behind him said "yup". This is a typical seedy garage that gives a bad rap to honest mechanics out there. I hope to find one someday. These guys are unethical, try someone else

I had my vehicle towed here based on a friends recommendation. It is an older gm pick up truck. Turns out it needed an engine. They were able to locate a used engine for me at a very reasonable price. The labor was reasonable as well. The technician was very good and paid close attention to detail. This wasn't just a motor swap, he fixed anything that he found wrong or warn, took time to fix wire harnesses and swapped over my new starter. I am very satisfied with the service I received. Mark in the front office was excellent and completely transparent. Excellent communication. I would highly recommend Swift Motors for any mechanical work.

Scammed out of $95 diagnosis fee. They told me they’d diagnose my vehicle and instead of doing a full diagnostic they plugged in the auto zone machine and told me alter it was bad when it wasn’t. No underbody check, no engine or trans check, nothing! Then threatened to shoot me if I didn’t leave.

I called last week because my extended warranty company recommended them. They told me to come in today Monday morning and when I show up the guy behind the desk says we can’t even look at your car today I said can I make an appointment for when you can (after explaining I was told to come today) he says no we don’t make appointments. I could leave my car and they could get to it in the next two weeks….the worst customer service and business plan I have ever saw. How do you do business without appointments? I would never recommend this place or do business here ever again! Thanks for nothing Swift motors! Called another place and they can get me a quote and a time frame by end of day….that’s how you do business!!! The question below asks if I used this service, they wouldn’t let me lol, but what a blessing they didn’t!!!

The older gentleman is extremely rude. Definitely needs a lesson in respect for towards his customers. Younger gentleman is very kind and very professional. But got the job done. I would never go to a place with a lack of respect regardless of how well or fast the service is. Ever again. People like him makes me wish I never moved here.

Absolute joke. Called prior to bringing my vehicle there to get an estimated time and price of how long it should take, got there at 8am when they open on Friday and they said my car should be finished around noon. 6pm is when they close and I had only one update at 5pm that “it’s halfway through”, so I called at 6pm for an update and now they’re are saying Monday morning bc they’re closed for the weekend so I’ll probably get charged extra for having it there. I already had the parts order all they had to do is replace it. This is my second time going there and them taking extremely long. I talk to who I believe is the owner, he seemed nice when I met him, but the older man at the counter is super rude. Would not recommend.

They came and towed my mom’s camper because it was called in as abandoned. Wouldn’t release it back by showing a bill of sale (just bought it not even 12 hours before it was towed). With the amount that they are charging to get it back is way more than what the camper is worth. Now they won’t even let her retrieve a few belongings that was on the camper. This place is a joke!!

We purchased a vehicle due to me being trimester 3 w Hyperemesis Gravidarum and GD w ongoing nausea in intense summer heat driving 45 minutes to and from work for 12 hours shifts in a very old truck w no working ac. We made sure we had a good warranty on our new SUV so new baby wouldn't have to endure the heat. After couple month w the new SUV ironically the AC quit working. We immediately acted on the warrantee which covered all ac parts and labor. Our dealership works w Swift motors and told us to take it there. They diagnosed it as a faulty rear a/c line leak and they would order the part. After waiting a month I contacted to figure out what was going on and they stated it was on the way. After 2 months of waiting and multiple contacts for updates I was told it was backordered earlier but was on its way and in Chicago on its way there. After 3 months and the part that was supposedly in Chicago got lost and we're told there is nothing they could do if they can't get their hands on the parts. So we gave up on them and contacted Hyundai in Lansing and found out they actually had the part in stock and would fix it for whatever Swift quoted and honor what the warranty company was going to pay. I contacted the warranty company informed them of the issues with Swift motors and what Hyundai had said but they asked me to contact Swift and work with them since everything has been processed through them. I contacted Swift informed them and they were surprised but said bring car up and they will have the part next day. Well, all of a sudden every excuse came up...they couldn't get the vehicle in, it was misdiagnosed, etc . Etc. Mind you we have to work w our dealership and the warranty company to make any changes etc. My husband repeatedly called, took the car in several times, and no matter what they couldn't fix it. Then they suddenly couldn't get it scheduled in and the warranty company didn't want to approve for Hyundai to fix it after all this mess and time. We were still well under miles almost a year later and this dealership still refused to fix was aware warranty miles/time would run out and literally refused to fix it. Our dealership where we got the vehicle couldn't get them to act on it either. So after a long battle w HG, a new infant to care for, and the now added stress of 2 of my children riding in a hot car for yet another summer, we tried to fight this another year since promise to fix was under original miles and warranty to no avail. Then my child turned 2 w feeding issues. Long story short she ended up w a GT and enteral feedings. So we need to be careful of what makes her nauseous like tube feeding around times in the heat. She is ordered 5 of these feedings a day, so how do we manage this? Meanwhile, Swift has been aware of the reason for this vehicle, warranty terms, and the undue physical, emotional, and mental, and financial stress put on my family. Yet, we haven't received so much as an apology.

Had my car brought in, they told me my alternator and breaks needed to be done. Gave me a quote of $688, I said I use a warranty and to see if that covers any of it. They called, told me it doesn’t. I said okay, go ahead. It has to be done, so I will pay the $688 out of pocket. They fix my car and call me. Suddenly it’s $1327.00 they never called me to tell me a price change. Never told me they were fixing anything else. They tell me I agreed to this price. I know I didn’t. Multiple people were in the room with me while the call was on speaker. I did not agree. They yell at me over the phone. Tell me to get a lawyer or pay the amount. I say lol okay, I will. I get in contact with who I need to, and suddenly they call back. They’re going to take the parts off, put mine back on, and not charge me anything. They still swear I agreed. I know for a fact I didn’t. I am standing on business. I am NOT a liar. I have it all written out because I needed to know the amount for my banking. He says he has me on recording saying I agreed to the new price. I ask to hear it. He just speaks over me the whole time. So I say SIR I would like to hear it. Basically there is no recording because I did not agree to that price and dude knows it. He’s a bully and isn’t used to not getting what he wants. So I will be picking my car up to get it towed somewhere else. Don’t go there. Especially if you’re a woman. They’ll try to walk all over you, speak over you, yell at you over the phone. Not worth it. Can’t wait to hear that “recording.” Though, lol.

I went here yesterday to see what used cars were available as I have bought 2 cheaper cars from them in the past one for $500 & one for $800 that only needed a little bit of work. Only went there to begin with because my cousin is married to the owners daughter. However, the only car they had available was a older year Ford Focus for $1500. When I said it was out of my price range the owner then proceeded to say "$1500?? Wow! Well good luck!" I had cash in hand but I don't know anyone in their right mind who would pay that much for one of those. He was rude the last 2 times I bought cars, but gave him the benefit of the doubt. I can see why my dad continuously declined his offer to come work for him. What a joke of a business.

Hated there communication with me! I called them told them what was wrong they told me most likely would get fixed within a week, get it here by this day which i did. Then it took almost 2 full days to diagnose it which resulted ordering parts on a Friday then it did not get there by Wednesday middle afternoon. Called late on Thursday to see if it was almost done, told me most likely would be done ending of day. But I called noon on Friday to see where it was and they were in the same position on it when I called on Thursday. Then it was supposed to be done and ready before ending of day on Friday, but resulted in me picking up early afternoon on Tuesday because Monday ended up with something being wrong with the fix so they had to take the transmission apart. 2 weeks total for a torque converter replacement and a couple grand later.
