Communication very well done although they wanted $158 to test drive my car to figure out the problem after another shop already figured out the problem and then wanted $1058 to change my wheel bearings. To which I brought my car to a friends mechanic an hour away! And said it would be $600 max and test drive it for free for 30 sec and figured out the problem.

Another repair shop at a dealership had advised my wife she needed a brake job and quoted her a VERY high price. I told her to call Christy and take it down to Suddeths and let them look at it. They confirmed my suspicions that she does not need new brakes now, just keep checking in conjunction with oil jobs. It is nice in this day and time to have honest trade people to work with. That’s why I have done business with Suddeths for over 20 years. They treat you right and give you good advice and do excellent work. I called on a Friday morning before 8am. Had my car there soon after. Got my car by end of day! I was experiencing issues with my engine oil pressure sensors. The tech was able to order and replace the sensor in one day which was awesome. I had also asked the tech to look at my rear brakes. They were fine and they did not pressure me to change anything that didn’t need to be changed. It was a pricey sensor to replace but overall happy with the service. When I picked my car up they had washed and detailed it! Great surprise.

You were very professional and fixed my headlamp effectively. You also said my front brake pads were at only 4mm and needed replacing. I asked my regular mechanic to inspect them. He said they were at 60 percent and were fine. They blew off some brake dust and didn’t charge me anything. That makes me question your integrity.

My spare vehicle went to the shop and based on the diagnostic results, I decided that a new transmission cost would far exceed the value of the car but this was not a reflection on the service I received! I would highly recommend this repair shop to others!!! Christy is a superb customer relations representative for this business and made my unfortunate car troubles a lot easier. Everything thing on estimate was repaired and replaced but my truck is still cutting off so the diagnosis given was inaccurate or incomplete. If the repairs on estimate had actually fixed the problem, they would have gotten four stars. Since the estimate they gave was inaccurate I now feel the service was overpriced.It wasn't worth what I paid for the time I spent.

This was my first time at Suddeth and I'm super pleased with my experience. They're upfront about the inspection cost and I was quoted a price for the work (front and rear brakes and rotors replaced) that I knew was about right. I agreed to the work and they worked well with my time constraints before the holidays. Upon arriving to pick up my car, they told me my rear brakes didn't need to be replaced after taking everything apart so they cleaned them for me and that was reflected in my new total, a few hundred dollars less. It's not everywhere you see a honest auto shop, some places would have just cleaned the brakes and charged you for the replacement anyways. They were communicative, courteous, and my car runs great. I'll be coming back for sure.

Great experience with Suddeth Automotive. I had a "Service Electronic Stability Control" message pop up on my vehicle and was fortunate enough to find Team 1 Suddeth when looking for a auto shop. It was close and they were able to schedule me an appointment the very next morning. Brought my car in Thursday morning and got it back Friday at noon with no more issues. Kait was great and kept me updated on everything that was going on, costs, options etc. No complaints from me, friendly and professional personnel, quality work at an affordable price. This establishment gives you that neighborhood “Mom and Pop”feeling.Nothing fancy which I actually prefer,because I know I’m not being up charged for fancy decor.The entire staff is friendly and honest. The young lady at the Front desk is very pleasant.She greets you with a friendly smile.This is and will be my go to shop as long as I live in the Columbia area. I recently had a tire sensor replaced and left and that tire started to lose air, I called went back to the shop. They totally admitted it was an error on their end. Fix the issue, which was a simple Human error. They didn’t try to say something else was wrong with the tire, Like a lot of other shops would’ve done. ( I’ve experienced it) I greatly appreciate the honesty. That’s just another reason why I recommend this shop and I myself will continue to have my vehicle serviced here.

My car was taking multiple pushes of the button to start. I called them and got my car in the very next morning. Kait communicated clearly what the issue was with my starter and battery. She also sent me a report with recommendations and some things that were urgent. I appreciated that since i knew that it was time to get some other things repaired and maintenance done. I dropped it off at 9 am and it was finished by 3:30 pm the same day. I will definitely being going back to them for the other maintenance items that need done. I can't recommend Suddeth enough!!! Go see them, you won't be disappointed.
