Title:** Poor Customer Service and Unprofessional Behavior by Store Manager **Review:** I recently visited the Home Depot store located at 4525 Mobile Highway, Pensacola, and had an extremely disappointing experience. The store manager not only failed to resolve a simple issue but also escalated the conflict unnecessarily. I attempted to make a payment over the phone for a client whose card is linked to my account. However, the manager refused to assist, claiming that my client was not on my account, which is factually incorrect. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, the manager became uncooperative and created additional problems. To make matters worse, the manager’s appearance was highly unprofessional. While appearance may not always reflect competence, the presence of facial piercings (such as a nose ring) in a customer-facing role left a negative impression and added to the overall lack of professionalism. In all my years of shopping at various Home Depot locations, I have never encountered such poor service. The evening shift at this particular store is truly terrible, and this experience has left me so frustrated that I no longer wish to return to this location. As a loyal Home Depot customer, I expect better service and professionalism, especially from management. This experience has deeply disappointed me, and I hope the company takes steps to address such issues in the future.

Needed a microwave on short notice for over the top of a range. Was able to find one in the color and style that were needed.

I usually go to Lowes because they're a little closer , but 2 days ago, upon discovering they had asphalt shingles for $28.88 a bundle, I gleefully drove there to buy 50 bundles for my roof. I go up to order them and suddenly they're $38.48, a discount to be had if you buy 96+. Found another one for $31.99. They don't carry it and couldn't be bothered ordering it. I was livid. So I go to Home Depot. Totally different. They had plenty of what I needed and offered a discount if you buy 36+. Delivery was very reasonable as well and the lady behind the counter was pleasant and efficient. Like night and day. Home Depot wanted to do business and Lowes wanted to play games with their stipulations and exclusions. I highly recommend Home Depot.

It’s one of the two big hardware stores. It’s a nice place to shop and can find good deals in the store. Went to check on Halloween decorations and they were either nearly sold out or didn’t have much to begin with. They are loaded with Christmas l8e most other stores. I wish they could wait til after Halloween to start pushing Christmas ( I mean all stores) they did have a lot of inflatable and one in particular was a dragon. Have seen a lot of dragons for Halloween the past few years let’s thanks game of thrones for that. They have a great selection of all hardware needs at good prices along with cleaning items, plants and appliances. Go and check them out never know what you could fine

Bought a washer and dryer. Staff was very helpful. Delivery date is quick . I think the price was reasonable for a quality name brand set. Made a few trips for paint and home improvement stuff. Had what I needed, helpful staff and was in and out quick

Employees were not very friendly or helpful. They would not allow me to purchase a pressure washer in the garden dept. I had to go to customer service to check out with it.

Customer service is sad. Helped someone else and didn’t help me after. Made keys for others and when to talking to their co-workers and playing around. Will be going to Lowe’s next time for sure.

It's difficult to find help here. On of the employees got in trouble for taking too much time to help me. From what I've gathered, the workers are only there to move stock from the back to the front, not actually help customers. Shame on you Home Depot.

Ha, went to get it and was told it needed repair after two emoyees said it was available. Went back after being told it was going to be repaired the next morning and then they said they had to send it off for repair!!! Who in the hell is running that zoo?????

We are having a problem with raccoons coming in through our doggy door. My mom and I went in tonight and not only did Theo help my mom get a scooter that was charged but he helped me get the items I need to block the raccoons from coming in. Great customer service!

I had some returns and the lady at the return desk was not friendly at all, she snapped at me over a mistake she made and one of her coworkers took over for her. I never said a word. I can’t find a darn thing in that store, the layout is insane, and a brush set I wanted was literally double the price for the EXACT same one at Lowe’s. So I went to Lowe’s and bought it. 🤷🏻♀️

What a pleasant shopping experience here. Help was readily accessible and could not be any friendlier and super knowledgable for the home improvement challenged. Every employee I passed smiled and greeted me. Whatever you are doing, keep doing it and make sure the team knows superstars!

Okay, fam- this one is a doozie. I had a highly concerning experience at this Home Depot that goes beyond poor service and into serious procedural failures. My SO (significant other) placed an online order around noon, and I arrived at approximately 1:15 PM to pick it up. I’m just here to pick up the order to help out. It’s not even my order but when you’re doing someone a favor, you want to make sure you do your best. Back to the order, Understandably i know it may not be ready, I walked up to the counter and said hi I’m here for a pickup, I give the phone number linked to order and Patricia says we were just talking about your order. I pause- okay………….Patricia, the employee, told me they had until 2:08 PM to prepare the order and said she’d check on it. She called someone and informed me it wasn’t quite ready but they were working on it. She says let me find something out and rushed off. After being there and waiting for about 15 minutes, she quickly passed by me and said they’d call me when it was ready. Cool so I leave from Customer service. When I returned to the garden center employee asked me an odd question about the order, “what’s going on with your order?” No way for her to know who I was and what I ordered but told her I was here to pick up an order. She says I know. So I specifically asked the employee in the garden center if they could bring the products out to me and place in the back of the truck. She agreed and told me to wait in the parking lot and someone will bring them out. I waited 25 minutes. During this time, an employee walked past me without acknowledging me at all. When I tried to flag him down for assistance, he kept walking. At that point, I decided to go back in and request a refund. I asked my SO to check the status online. They marked it as picked up by customer. We have not taken possession of the product. I go back inside to customer service. It was then that Patricia falsely claimed they had called me and that I had told her we were waiting in the parking lot, which was entirely untrue. I called my SO and repeated what Patricia stated. She was untruthful. To make matters worse, when I challenged this discrepancy , Patricia rolled her eyes, stuck her finger up and said “hold on,” and then proceeded to call another customer in front of me, discussing a different order instead of resolving my issue. Yeah, def not here to wait around until you get done. So I asked another employee to assist with my refund and the other employee willingly helped me and refunded the purchase. Twist: Where was the order you ask? In fact, they had left the order unattended on a pallet outside the store in the parking lot, and falsely marked it as “picked up” in their system. This represents a serious breach of accuracy and accountability. SO tried to call the manager on duty to figure out what was going on but Patricia blocked it multiple times. By either the line “disconnecting” or she transferred him to departments that were not the manager. This combination of false statements, inaccurate system documentation, unattended merchandise, and dismissive behavior is unacceptable. I strongly urge management to audit their order-handling and pickup procedures. Customers should not have to deal with misrepresented order statuses, unsecured materials, or a lack of basic professionalism.

On Dec 27th I placed an order for a Maytag slide in range. I paid for delivery, installation and to move my old appliance to another room. Delivery was scheduled for Saturday January 3rd. The delivery window was 12p-12a- seriously. At 3:30 p I received a call from a female telling me that they had experienced difficult installations and were running behind. that I was #20 - last delivery- and they would not meet my delivery window but I would receive it today. After checking the tracker at 6:30p with no appliance and no update, I called the store where I ordered the range. The female that I was transferred to told me that they must have had a truck problem that they wouldnt be delivering to me today and she wouldnt know anything until Monday. I stated to her that I was absolutely unhappy with their system and expect the range tomorrow. She said they dont deliver on Sunday. I told her I want a full refund of this delivery charge. to which she said she couldnt do anything Until the range is delivered and I am satisfied. I have over $1700 tied up in this appliance. times and stories from the tracker and two females are all different. My old range has been removed so I have no way of preparing meals and cannot take off to wait on them another day in the workweek. I am NEVER buying any thing from them again that I cannot take home with me.

Didn't make it before closing but was only going to look at sheds anyway, so that's what I did. I can't justify the price of these but they do give me the sense of how they are constructed so I may build my own and use some of the ideas in these, like shelves, storage options, window placement, exterior design, etc... However!! Looking at the cost of lumber and such and duplicating 1 of these may actually come very close! I'd have to do the math on configuring that and weigh the pros and cons! Anyway, always have loved Home Depot! Great, conveniently located home improvement store! Huge selection of all kinds of goodies!!
