Guy was nice but did an awful detail job, I had to bring it back and he still didn’t fully detail the car...and after all that he wanted a tip - don’t waste your time and money on this place like I did 👎👎👎👎👎

Hmmmm i live on Garfield pl..ya the sidewalk thats at franklin auto center looks horrible like a junk yard.the owner should clean up his property it makes the area look junkie.dude clean it up. Take care of your sidewalk it represents your business.

I took my car in to get the rear brake pads and a headlight bulb replaced. They did a good job at a fair price and had it done quickly, within a few hours. A couple weeks later, my car started making a weird noise. I wasn't sure if it was a bad bearing or what. I took it back to these guys and as it turns out, I had picked up a bolt in one of my tires. They plugged the hole and charged me a fair price. Good, honest work.

My car started making a terrible noise. I called first thing in the morning and he (the owner?) said I could bring it right in. Ended up needing a new ac compressor. Had my car back in less than 24 hours, running beautifully. Price was exactly as quoted (and included tax in the quote.) Great experience, glad to have found my local auto shop in LA!

Be careful when you bring your car here. They’ll steal your money. I went to the dealership to fix my ac under warranty and they gave me a list of things I need to do for my car. (transmission fluids, engine injector, coolant, cabin filter, and engine oil filter. I know the dealership overcharges and tells you things you don’t need to do so they can make money. So I brought my car here to get a second opinion. I called them saying “hey, I need to change the transmission fluids, coolant and clean the engine injector. Can you give me an estimate of how much it will cost?” The guy said “I can’t give you an estimate on the phone. Bring your car and we’ll have the mechanic take a look at it. Then we can tell you how much it will cost. Don’t worry. We’ll tell you how much it is before we do anything.” So I came in and brought my car. I told them to just look at those three things because I can change both filters by myself. It’s super easy to do at home. They asked me for the list I got from the dealership so they can have that as a reference. After two hours later, they called me saying that my car is ready. When I got there, the guy was asking me for $200?!?!?! They also changed both of the filters when I told them I don’t need it? What happened to telling me “don’t worry. We’ll let you know the price before we do anything.” Do you guys just fix people’s car without telling your customers anything and expect them to pay? When I confronted him about why they changed the filters without telling me, he said “oh, it was on the list you gave me.” It’s ridiculous. Don’t get scammed like me and go somewhere else. There’s tons of auto shops in la.

I recently had an incredible experience with Franklin Auto Center near Griffith Park. I was on my way to play golf when I heard my brakes making very strange noises. I pulled over and, luckily, found Franklin Auto Center nearby. From the moment I arrived, the staff was attentive and professional. They listened to my concerns, immediately put my car up, and thoroughly inspected the brakes. Not only did they identify the problem quickly, but they also gave me a great deal on the necessary repairs. Within an hour, they had changed both the brakes and rotors. What truly impressed me was their willingness to go above and beyond; they kept someone there after closing so I could pick up my car after my round of golf. So I made my tee time and my car got fixed! The team at Franklin Auto Center is super helpful and genuinely cares about their customers. I highly recommend them for their excellent service and dedication. They're simply incredible!

I have been to this shop over many many years. My whole family has. My latest problem was I needed to evacuate my ac Freon on my bmw and everyone around was asking for 150 minimum . Which was absurd. I came to them and they said for old customers we will do it for for really cheap. They don’t have to but just good people … thank you guys. You have a customer for life… which you already kind of did 🙏

If you would like that mechanic Tigran take advantage for you- please come to this place . Tigran will take all your money and demands tips , tips , tips. Even check tire pressure-20$; he demands really insistently until you feel uncomfortable.
