Tommy's is a descent car wash and the free vacuuming is one of the best things there. Staff is always pleasant and the lines are pretty fast. The cars behind you in the wash are the only issue about Tommy's. When people don't give enough space it feels a little claustrophobic.

If you're looking for a great date experience, go go Phoholic nextdoor and then get your dirty car cleaned at Tommy's. We stumbled upon this gem while out of town escaping our parenting responsibilities. Had a great time cleaning four years of frantic parenting out of our very neglected car. Staff was kind and offered a first time discount and recommendations for ways to save moving forward. Was a tired parent's dream.

I am an avid customer at Tommys Carwash, however today my experience was very unpleasant. I witnessed something that took my breath away. A lady parked there and had a child in her car. She left her car for no more than 2 minutes and this tow truck started towing the car with the child in the car. Wow. Very uncomfortable situation. 😰😰😰

Had a fairly rude lady at the window, My husbands truck wasn’t fully clean on the back, The license plate was bent, And I witnessed a horrific situation at the vacuums !! These boys who work here need to take no for a answer ! Don’t go up to teenage girls and harass them, I had to ask if they were okay after some young sleaze wouldn’t back away !! Will not be coming back, management needs to take care of these people !!

I was charged $80 after I was offered a one month promotion that I thought would end after the month was over. I called to have it fixed and they told me that I had gone through the wash and given me dates and times, all of which were in the middle of my work day. I called corporate and they said they’d get back to me and never did. This place is a rip off. The only thing it’s good for is parking to go pick up your Phoholic.

Have you ever seen one of those internet videos of a car traveling through a wash with their dogs while playing house music at full blast and the colors of the soaps on the windows create a nightclub type atmosphere t hat seems really fun and enjoyable? That's the kind of wash you can expect at Tommy's. Download their app and sign up for automatic washes or whatever and you can go through the fast lane which will certainly make you feel cooler than the people waiting in the lane that have yet to pay. For the full night club experience, go for the most expensive wash, which ultimately is probably better for your car, at least that's what I'm duped to believe.

Super friendly staff. Cleaning took under 2 mins, including wait time. They have 10 vacuuming stalls which are free. Just off of Central Avenue in Duluth by ATT or McDonald's and prior to the mall.

I had a fantastic experience at Tommy’s Express Car Wash! The wash itself left my car sparkling, but what truly impressed me was the exceptional customer service. I had a question about cleaning my floor mat, and Wayne immediately offered to assist. He returned shortly with my mat looking brand new! His attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile made a great car wash experience even better! The entire staff was friendly and professional, but Wayne's outstanding service stood out. I highly recommend Tommy’s Express Car Wash and commend Wayne for his dedication to customer satisfaction.

I went to this location based on my experience at another Tommy's location in NC. However, this car wash was lackluster and not worth the money. There were no air hoses, and when I walked over to the mat wash station, one of the machines was down. I was carrying my fitted mats, and he told me to go ahead and use the one for flat mats, which I refused to do. I also don't think this location got my vehicle as clean as other automatic car washes I have used, including the other Tommy's location.

I like Tommy’s, but I have noticed that the brushes, which seem extremely powerful, have put small, hairline scratches in the paint on both sides of my new Forester. It is very easy to track this to Tommy’s because during several washes the power of the brushes have knocked my side view mirror out of place. Also, it would be great for them to recalibrate the drying aspect to enable the back window of SUV’s to be dried more throughly.

I’ve been going here since they opened got damaged to my bumper. The manager should not talk to the public. He was the rudest person I have ever had to deal with and the thing that sucks is I don’t think there’s Anybody else I could talk to I called corporate but their owned privately so everyone knows I wouldn’t go there no matter what your car is gonna get scratched and if you end up with damage, they will not fix it and there is no one but a very mean manager to talk to

Live an hour away so I signed up for the pay as you go plan and happened to be in the area on a snowy slushy day so didn't want to use my free wash but stopped by just to confirm that dually's fit and how the process works. Talked to the owner and assistant they reassured me dually's were fine and even offered me a free wash today!! Truck came out looking great (for the first couple of slushy blocks : ).Looking forward to going back whenever I'm in the area

Half of the vacuums do not work at this location. I used one stall and the vacuum fell apart. I only come here for the mat wash. I’ve been to other Tommy’s and noticed their vacuums aren’t as strong. I’ve been to mister car wash and I feel like their washes and vacuums are better. But if you need a car wash and your mats cleaned, this is the place to go.

Tire Shine Brush is always broken , have to spend money at a self service car wash to have my damn rims and tires clean while I'm paying over $42 for Works Membership, really !!!? Since we're having a Breach of Contract and you guys can't come with a solution beyond asking me to cancel membership I'll have my attorney evaluating this for further actions.

I used to like going here, but there seems to be a problem every time I go out of my way to drive there for a car wash. The last several times I’ve gone both lanes haven’t been working, or one lane only was working and there’s a line that goes into central entrance. Additionally, their vacuums always have problems. They either don’t have good suction, or the top part of the vacuum falls off and you have to try to get it back on hoping it will stay. To pay $41 a month just to not be able to get my car washed, the sole purpose of the company, it’s safe to say that it’s been extremely frustrating.

I have been a Tommy’s member for years — always satisfied. I brought my new car in— 5,000 miles on it. Huge scratches all over both sides of the car after running it through Tommy’s car wash in Duluth. The assistant manager and an employee came out and took photos of the damage. The assistant manager told me that there was not a buffer working over the weekend and that he (assistant manager) would call me the next day which was Monday. He did not call. I gave him time due to Christmas, etc…. He never called. I called Tommy’s and he had his boss, Mike—the owner—tell me that he would not accept responsibility for my car’s damage. Mike was sarcastic. Mike put the assistant manager on a three way conversation, and Mike (not the assistant who took the photos and promised to follow up with me) said that no mention was made as to the promise of buffing, etc. I have two witnesses who were present when Mike and another employee took the photos of my damaged car and offered the buffing solution. Mike dismissed me. I called Tommy’s corporate and they called the owners assistant manager for resolution. The assistant said he’d have my car buffed as the corporate representative reported back to me. Once again, I have heard nothing from Tommy’s in Duluth. Jon Niemi Duluth, MN
