I;ve had multiple repairs done by total performance, and every time they never fail to supass my expectations. Father, and Son (Gene, and Eric) run the business. They are very knolwedgeable at their craft and do an A+ job on every repair I have ever had. This is without a doubt my go to out of any shop I've been to in Vancouver. The owner, Gene, is great. Really easy going and clearly knows his shit. Helpful and patient. Doesn't get all impatient and abrupt when you're trying to tell him all your issues you're experiencing with your vehicle. Most places I've been don't want to hear anything you have to say about the car, they often have this attitude that they just can't be bothered with what you have to say, like you can't possibly know what you're talking about. I didn't receive any treatment like that here. He and his crew do excellent work here and at reasonable prices.

From start to finish Eric gave me one of the most high quality customer service experiences I have ever had. I have had countless negative experiences in the auto industry and Eric's service makes me wish I was a local to Vancouver, WA where they could be my go to auto shop. I am from out of state. I purchased an older vehicle in Oregon and ended up having issues out the gate within 48 hrs after purchasing the vehicle. I was on a time crunch to boot in order to travel elsewhere. Eric was patient, attentive and kind. He bent over backwards to make sure that I understood everything going on with my vehicle, he showed me the repairs that needed to be made and helped me understand the full inspection. We discussed the priority list of repairs to ensure that the vehicle would be safe for me to drive long distances and I decided to hold off on a few items that weren't urgent until a later date due to my stretched thin budget. During the repairs I asked Eric to send me photos of the work in progress so I would have them for my records, which he accommodated without issue. After the repairs were completed the serpentine belt started making noise again and I contacted Eric immediately. He fit me back in asap to take a look at it knowing I needed to leave for out of state. I also interacted with Gene briefly on the day I picked it up and settled the bill. Gene was personable and willing to work with me when my shared branch credit union in Oregon dealing with my home credit union in Colorado wouldn't release that much cash to me. We were able to sort out the payment without added stress. Eric responded quickly to texts and calls and genuinely cares about his customers. He even sent me a few texts to check in and see how things were going after the repairs. I would use Total Performance Automotive again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making a situation with a lot of heart burn a lot less painful!
