Victor and his team in the service department made sure I left a satisfied and happy customer. Went in for just tire rotations and issues came up with studs. They were able to take care of the issue free of charge.. I'm so grateful I've only been sharing it with my toyota friends and family.

I felt they were courteous but not warm. They now have an outside bathroom , like an upgraded port-a-potty. They also used to provide coffee and donuts for free while you wait, but no longer. It has been awhile since I've been there, so I don't know when all the changes were made

I towed my car in due to it randomly not starting one night (no issues previously with this happening). Service advisor stated there was diesel in fuel tank (although I had been driving it for 4 days when I last filled it up with gas, and the gas station that I last went to does not even sell diesel after calling them to confirm and get copy of my receipt). I was charged 180 dollars for this diagnosis and was told I needed to pay an additional 500+ dollars to drain and clean the fuel tank since it was contaminated with diesel. After repeatedly instructing service advisor that I had last filled up 5 days ago (driving 100+ miles with no issues) and went to a station that does not sell diesel he still continued to say I put diesel in the car and I just don't remember doing so (he also noted it happens to a lot of people who come in after accidentally doing this). I decided to take it to another mechanic just to get a second opinion and was told there is no diesel in my vehicle and that it was running fine. I am incredibly dissatisfied as I paid 180 dollars for a misdiagnosis. This was my first and last visit to this place. EDIT: Josh, the General Manager was incredibly helpful and apologized about what had happened. He notified me that he would be giving me a full refund. Thank you for your help and resolving the issue for me!

I just want to send a thank to the Toyota service team, specifically, Niko. I had an appointment for an oil change and basic service, but I needed to make sure I had my car back ASAP in order to attend plans I already had later that day. Niko had great communication and really understood my situation and went above and beyond to get my car serviced. Big shout out to you Niko. We greatly appreciate it! …p.s. loved the complimentary donuts and coffee while waiting!

If you buy a car, they're interested but for parts & service, not up to mark. I was waiting to get a quote for labor charges, no one was interested to help. I was waiting for 30-40 minutes but no one was attending to help. Even I gave my number to call me after checking details but didn't get a call. I'm disappointed!

Another horrible experience at this dealership. I spent $90,000 on two brand new RAV4 vehicles. This is a return for a free oil change based on the horrible service we had last time where it took all day with no communication to get my sons vehicle back to him. Once again, they’ve managed to operate at the same standard with my son, dropping off his car for a 9 AM appointment And the dealership not returning it until 5:30 PM. My son left his phone number with the dealership service representative but instead they turned around and called my work number?? Why I don’t know because we didn’t leave that number with them. My son even called back and left messages and called for the service rep and cannot get accurate information as to when the vehicle would be done.. finally, my wife is taking my son to pick up his vehicle at 5:30 PM, a nine hour day to get in oil change done with no communication once again. The service representative, blamed it on our phone numbers as the problem, my son told him I gave you my phone number in the morning. Why would you call my father’s work phone number instead ? even when my son called in the middle of the day. And left a new message. It was with his phone number again the same one that he gave in the morning.? There’s such a high level of incompetence here I’ve never had three negative experiences in a row to get a simple oil change done. My salesman was awesome when we bought the vehicles but it’s obvious to me their service center really has no idea on how to conduct business keeping the customers time in mind with proper communication.

Not a friendly advisor - Darrell. I worked the night before I took my car in for service, so I shuttled back home to rest while my car was being worked on. Thankfully I did because it took 5 hrs to complete my service. Darrell texted me when my service was complete, but I was resting and he didn't think to call me until after the shuttle service was closed. I had to rush and take a 1 mile $12 Uber, not including tip, back to the shop before they closed the service department for the night.

Oil Change. Scheduled at 7am when they open to be one of the first ones. Took 3.5 hours. It makes me wonder why I'm spending three hours of my life in this dealer if I can go to an Express Oil place and get it done in 10 min without even getting off my car.

Went in for a recall regarding a battery issue on my rav4, the service advisor says as the technician was removing the connector it “fell apart” and wanted to charge $99 to replace it. Such a scammy service and terrible customer experience. Will not be returning to this location again, lost any future business with me.

First time in today and everyone was super friendly and helpful. They did a great job communicating with me throughout the whole service and helped me stay within my budget. I chose to wait there while my car was being serviced, it was no problem since they have a very comfortable lounge with drinks ect.. . Will be back again!

Broken promises and dishonesty to customers!! Crom Reed, the assistant service mgr, promised my car to be ready by 12pm, 8/26/20. I had some place to be and it was 95 degress F outside. At 12:05pm, I noticed my truck still parked outside in the same parking space. So, I asked Crom about the status of my truck and he answered the mechanic is working on my truck at the moment. Even though I could clearly see my truck outside and nobody was working on my truck, Crom lied to my face! I understand if things get delayed, but I don't appreciate being lied to about it. I deserve the respect of being told the truth when I am a customer paying for a service. All of this drama... for a simple oil change!

1-Star Review: Worst Experience Ever – And It’s Still Not Over Absolutely the worst dealership experience I’ve ever had. Toyota of Anaheim refused to fix a known grille shutter issue on my RAV4 under warranty and is demanding I pay out of pocket. No help, no explanation, no accountability—just a flat-out refusal. I’m still stuck with a broken part and zero support. If you value your time, money, or sanity, avoid this place at all costs.

Took in the car for an oil change, they came back and told me my lower ball joint needed to be replaced, along with a 4 wheel alignment after that. They quoted me 800 dollars for both and a 100 dollar discount on the lower ball joint repair. Decided I didn’t want to do it that day at the dealership. I ended up taking it to my independent mechanic and he calls me back telling me there’s no issue with the ball joint. I ended up paying my mechanic 40 dollars just to look under the car and find nothing wrong with the car. Saved myself 760 dollars just by taking it somewhere else.

It's a week and a half since I did my review on my four hour front end alignment. After I received the public message from the general manager stating an apology for what happened, no attempt to contact me, other than the posted message, was made. I expected more than a hollow offer to make things right. But I now think this is a standard reply to appear concerned about the customer. Appointments are meaningless. Don't fall for the bait of a fast oil change or coupon offers. You will pay for it with your own time. Beware.

Be careful, watch your gas tank before drop off and pick up. I dropped off the car there for service. Then they returned with an empty gas tank. They only refilled back when I complained about it. My car has 1 issue, but I had to come back 2 times, but they did not address the issue, then they told me to come in back if the engine light comes on again. Please check your tires pressures after service. The tires pressure limited 32 psi, they bumped the air to over 65 psi. That made me feel very scared. I couldn’t imagine if these tires exploded on the freeway on the way home.

**Update** 10/16/2025 I am bumping my review back to one star. I have been trying to get reimbursed for the damages done to my vehicle, and it has been 17 days with no action. **Update** On 09/29/2025 I talked to the service manager Thealize, and she did an excellent job on making things right. She listened to my complaint and offered to make it right. She was calm courteous and professional and she is the reason I am editing this review from one star to three. **Previous review, and some edits made** At first this deanship was honest with me and took care of my truck well, but this last service was an awful experience. I booked my service online for 09/24/2025 and only wanted to do basic work (tire rotation and inspection). The service rep (Youbert) then pulls me into the office and tried to con me into the premium $325 package when I didn’t even ask for it. I confronted him about it and he reeled back when he knew he wasn’t going to sucker me into unnecessary work. I do opt to get an oil change too, but I shouldn’t have. After the work was done Youbert told me that my steering rack was leaking and needed replacing. I had that work done by another mechanic and had no issues. I took my truck back to the mechanic because they warranty their work no questions asked and they discovered that Toyota of Anaheim damaged my oil filter housing and oil got all over the place. They also inspected the steering rack and there were no leaks or damages. Now I am having the independent shop repair the damage that Toyota of Anaheim did. Also i double checked the photos for my “leaking” steering rack and they used the same one from the previous service to get me to buy an $1800 service when I already had it done. My trust with service station is damaged, and am reticent to bring my truck back here for maintenance.

Today 11/25/25 took my car to Anaheim Toyota because I had a nail in my tire and it was slowly leaking air. Since I bought my car from Toyota dealership and have all the warranties, including road hazard coverage, I expected a quick and helpful fix. Instead, I got pretty poor customer service. There was an advisor using profanity nearby, and I was told to just drop off the car without them even checking the tire. They didn’t try to help on the spot at all. Now I have to go out of my way and pay out of my own pocket to fix my tire elsewhere, even though I have a warranty that should have covered it. I chose Toyota because I thought they were one of the best, but this experience was really disappointing. I hope they improve their service for the future.
