I Take all of my personal vehicles, and all the company vehicles where I work to be serviced at Tri-Care. Everything from oil changes to major repairs. They always do a fantastic job. The quality of service is A+, top quality. The service managers are helpful, informative and always stay on top of what the customer needs. The mechanics do a great job and do it right the first time. Tri-Care is the place to go when you have a problem with your vehicle!

I don't normally write Google reviews. I have a 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax Diesel. It died and would not start. None of the GM dealers in Baton Rouge would even look at my truck. Wife contacted Tri-Care and they agreed to look at my truck. Tri-Care contacted me as soon as the Tow truck arrived at their location. I dealt with Trey from start to finish. He was clear, concise, and very friendly. They got my truck diagnosed (dead fuel injector control module) and repaired a lot faster than they predicted. I highly recommend them!! Thanks Trey and Tri-Care Automotive.

Went to have my Reduced Engine Light Inspected, was given an estimate of $6300 after a full diagnostic and check of my truck. I inquired about other items on my invoice which gained me a response of a new estimate totaling $5300 and an explanation that I had been overcharged for parts that I did not need. My Turbo was replaced, Engine Oil Cooler, and Throttle , giving them the access to see these points that are now leaking. They also provided a warranty for their parts and “craftsmanship”. Two weeks later, I have an oil leak in my pan, water pump leak, front and rear seals leaking, along with different codes that are showing up. So much for craftsmanship. I’d highly recommend staying away from this place unless you want to be over charged with no guarantees on their service. This was two weeks after their service which their service department does not find as odd enough to guarantee their craftsmanship.

My Explorer was giving me trouble & the Ford dealership said it was fine. It then left me stranded again & the dealership said they couldn’t get me in for over a week! We called Tri-Care via recommendation of a friend & they got us in the same day. They found the problem & had the vehicle back to me by the end of the next day. Thank you again!

I couldn’t be more happy with Tricare; they’re very professional, honest and take no shortcuts. I’ve brought my vehicle to a few places in Baton Rouge to fix my A/C and got ripped off each time because they didn’t find a solution, finally I brought vehicle to Tricare and they knew ,right away, what the issue was! I was hesitant at first because I’ve been told this before, but I’ve been driving around for a month and my air is finally blowing ice cold, just in time for Summer! I also got my tires aligned as well. I highly recommend Tricare to anyone who wants their car serviced by a business who actually cares.

Wanted to charge $1400 to replace the in tank fuel lift pump in my 2001 dodge ram 2500. And told me they were not sure it would fix my problem. Told them I could not afford to do right now. They said I should at least let them change the fuel filter for $210. Told them no. Paid them $110 for diagnostics. Went to pick up my truck next day (Saturday) and they had left the key on, so my battery was dead. Had to wait and hour for AAA to come jump the truck off. Anyway $25 and an hour later I had the fuel filter changed. Truck running great. First time I went there they wanted $900 to change my radiator which I ended up doing myself for $250. Don't know the quality of there work but if you like your money stay away from this place

Great place! We were stuck on the road traveling when our exhaust system went out and we called them and as busy as they were, they got us in that day to figure out the problem and fixed it the next day so we were only out of commission for two days! Great customer service! Our mechanic, Wayne, answered a million questions we had and didn't seem like we were wasting his time. In the front office, Brittany, was also amazing to work with. We were frustrated with our truck problems, but she understood and was very nice about all of it! Thank you all for being so great!

In addition to repairs to service & personal vehicles routine oil & filter changes. Although manufacturers recommendations for oil filter replacement is hand tight, TC has routinely tightened filter to the extent it was impossible for us to remove oil filter without returning to them to have it removed. For years you could count on TC for reliable service to your vehicles in a timely manner fixed right the first time. Hasn’t been our most recent experiences.

Car was overheating and I was referred to this place. Recommended I essentially change my entire cooling system and wanted to charge me $1500 for it. Told them I would just pay for the diagnostics only, because I was immediately suspicious. Told me my car would still run fine with a/c on, not even a mile down the road my car overheats with coolant spewing everywhere. I knew the car at least ran with the a/c off so I added coolant and went home to Houston to my family mechanic. They told me this quote was borderline criminal. For example, Tri-care wanted to replace my thermostat. My family mechanic demonstrated a test on my thermostat to me to show how it clearly works fine. Tri-care straight up lied. My issue ended up solely being bad fan clutch. Got it replaced and my car runs like brand new, with a/c and on long high rpm drives. Repair was $250. Don’t let the 5 star reviews fool you. They replace way more than you need so they can significantly over-inflate the price. I’m sure they’ll defend this with “well it’s bound to fail sooner rather than later so we recommend replacing it” to cover their bases. Do not come here, typical big name shop just trying to make as much money as possible. Sure, they’ll fix your issue. Except they’ll also convince you that you need hundreds of dollars worth of unnecessary repairs as well.

Dishonest company. I was quoted 1100 for an ignition coil replacement and spark plugs. Coil replacement is a fast easy job. The spark plugs, which they were charging me $38 a piece for , but are actually $10 a piece . Wow. Also told me I had to pay for the diagnostic fee on top of the services. Update : my son did all of the above for 180 in parts, and about an hour an half with wrong tools … he had to use what he had and run to auto zone.

Truly did me a solid this time around and fast as always! Customer for life! Took my 2015 RAM in on a Friday to have broken exhaust manifold studs on both sides of the engine replaced. They had it done by the following Tuesday morning. They did not deviate at all from the quote they gave me. They were fast and friendly.

Fast friendly service, Courtney was the absolute best and helping me with my issues. Told her I needed the vehicle back by Friday, she said she would try her best to make that happen, and it was ready by thursday! I have never used this company before however, I will definitely use them again in the future. Update: There was a few issues with my repair, however Tri-care went above and beyond resolving those issues!! A few days after the final fix, the owner called me personally saying that he had seen that my vehicle returned a few times, and asked if it was right, told him that it was. He said that if I had anymore problems with it to contact him directly. NOW THAT IS TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Will definitely use again for future repairs and will highly recommend!

I purchased my truck brand new. It had never been worked on before. I took it to Tri-Care to have some lifters replaced in my engine a year later, after the warranty had expired. Upon inspection after their service, I was surprised to find that many components were not reinstalled properly. When I attempted to change my thermostat, I discovered parts left hanging without proper reattachment. Additionally, some nuts and bolts were missing from places where they were deemed unnecessary by the service personnel. I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

Great shop. Used them years ago when I lived here. This time my wife had a breakdown while fleeing from a hurricane. Tricare took great care of her, diagnosed the problem, found the underlying cause instead of just swapping parts, and turned around the repair in just a couple of days. I wish I could find a shop I trust this much where I live.

I took my car to Tri-Care based on a recommendation from the Buick dealership. The dealership told me they couldn't seevice my car because it is over 10 years old. I was very skeptical with Tri-Care, however I received excellent service!!! The customer service was superb. Not only did they give me a follow up call to see how my car was running ok, they gave me a car care gift bag and a thank you card in the mail. I was very pleased with the service and treatment. Tri-Care will be my automotive maintenance from now on. They have excellent Customer Service. Stephanie Y.

Service, attention to detail, and follow-up was outstanding and exceeded all expectations. Took my car in on a Monday got it back on Friday, then they called to see how it was doing, has a small issue. So they came to my house to take thr car back to shop to investigate more and remedy the issue. If I need more service, this is the place im going to for now on! They also worked with my warranty company so I didnt have to do any leg work!!!!

Tri-Care Auto went above and beyond for my family. Jose and Ronnie provided outstanding customer service from start to finish and made a stressful situation so much easier. They kept us informed every step of the way, were honest and transparent, and worked quickly to get us back on the road after a transmission repair. What really stood out was the overall attention they gave to the entire vehicle—not just the main issue. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the safety of their vehicles. Professional, trustworthy, and efficient. Highly recommend Tri-Care Auto, and especially Jose and Ronnie, for anyone needing quality auto repair and top-tier service. 🚗👏
