There was a loud grinding noise coming from the front half of my Nissan, every time I turned the steering wheel. I gave Tuffy’s a call on Thursday night and they told me to drop it off in the morning - they were busy, but would take a look at it as soon as they could. Within 2 hours of dropping it off, I got a call from Doug, who had already fixed the issue and told me it was ready to be picked-up. He completely explained the issue and assured me that if I had any further problems, I could give them a call back and Doug would take care of it for me. I absolutely love this Tuffy’s location and depend on them for all of my vehicle’s needs. They have been my automatic go-to ever since I moved to Fort Myers, and I refer them to anyone who mentions an issue with their car. They are friendly, informative, and incredibly reliable. This shop goes above and beyond for their customers. In a world where it is hard to find honest and reliable service this shop saves the day! I took my car in because it was making an unusual noise but they couldn’t hear it or remake it. They drove it and checked what they thought would make a noise like that but didn’t find anything wrong. It was so refreshing that they didn’t make something up in order to make money!!! They care about their customers! We will continue to use Tuffy’s!

I used Tuffy tire and auto because of a recommendation from a neighbor. I could not have been more pleased with the service I received. They are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable in everything they do. They fix ed an air conditioning issue I had with my Nissan. But one of the parts they installed failed shortly thereafter. They immediately corrected the problem and fixed it without charge to me. They even towed the car at their expense; because it was making a noise that was concerning to me. I cannot say enough good things about this car service center. I give them my highest recommendation. Thank you!!

My wife’s van was in need of some wear and tear items that would have cost an arm and leg at the dealer. Dustin answered on the first ring when I called and was able to get me scheduled for a same day appointment. He communicated with me multiple times throughout the repairs - providing quotes/estimates on parts and labor needed prior to starting repairs, updating on expected delivery times for parts, and even letting the lead Master Technician, Kevin, educate me on why he was calling for certain repairs. When parts delays didn’t allow the car to be finished prior to close - Dustin offered to have the car put back together so we would not be without it for the evening. We were fortunately able to decline his offer, and not force the tech to do double the work.. but the gesture did not go unnoticed. Lastly - I specifically requested two additional services (and would have gladly paid for them) - but the team at Tuffys chose ethics over profits and showed me in person that they were not needed and thus removed from the repair order. It has been a long time, especially in the automotive industry, since I have felt like a business truly went out of their way for the customer - a nice breath of fresh air for anyone looking for an automotive repair provider. Would recommend for all repairs - from tires & oil changes to engine lights & full diagnostics.

Absolutely STELLAR experience! Where to even begin? When you have car issues, it’s always a pain and inconvenient. Let’s talk about HOW inconvenient my situation was and how Doug and the team made my life SOOOO much easier. First of all, I don’t live in Ft. Myers/Lehigh Acres. I handle my 84 year old grandmas affairs. Needless to say, car troubles started after my grandma was admitted to the hospital. Her caretaker has to use my grandmothers vehicle due to the size. On the way home, her caretaker started hearing sputtering. The car ended up getting towed after about 2 hours over to Tuffy’s. Doug was in excellent communication with myself and the caretaker. Problem was assessed immediately. Doug did a lot of leg work to help me find out about what the warranty would cover etc. Thank GOODNESS for him bringing this up. Tuffy still get paid and by the insurance my 84 y/o grandmothers out of pocket costs became more reasonable for her budget. Win-win. They were so extremely honest. We thought it was the transmission at first and turns out, it was a weird computer glitch. I would have zero idea being in a completely different state! So the will could’ve easily have been pulled over my eyes and it was not. They also discovered the brakes needed to be fixed and as soon as I approved that, the parts were on their way and fixed within a matter of hours, at most. What an ordeal it was but Doug and his team were incredible. GREAT communication, FAST service, HONEST. I wish there were 100 stars, as they deserve it. They really helped take the pressure off of me trying to figure this all out from a distance. THIS is how you want an auto repair shop to be. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! LIFE SAVERS!
