I had problems with my transmission and took my car to two different auto repair shops in Vegas. They said I needed to get a new transmission. I wanted to try one more auto repair before I went with the decision to buy a new transmission. I went down to US Mechanic and Towing and the mechanics Bobby and John said I had a sensor problem with my transmission. They immediately fixed the problem with my sensor. Those guys down there at US Mechanic and Towing were life savers! Highly recommend their services for any automotive repairs in Vegas!

We were visiting Las Vegas from out of town and our truck had issues, had it towed to US Mechanic with some gas issues. The next morning they had checked my truck over and nothing was wrong with my truck. It was weird. US Mechanic could have replaced my fuel pump and charged me plenty but they didnt. Gave me back my keys with no charge. It is hard finding a honest mechanic and I found one. I want to Thank US Mechanic. There new address is 4140 Cannoli Circle. Thanks again

I went do an oil change at a different shop and was told my gas tank had a leak and instead of having their referred mechanics to take a look at it or change it, I called Ruben at US Mechanics, they took a look at it and they didn't find any leaks in the gas tank. They were honest about it and saved me a whole lot of money on that one. All I can say is Thank you for their honesty and Thank You Jesus for that one.

If you're looking for a mechanic, save time and try US Mechanic first. If another mechanic is recommending big work for big money get a second opinion from US Mechanic. They've earned a loyal customer. TLDR; How I found this place was quite devine. I intitially went to Ted Wiens because my truck just started acting up (running rough due to a misfire) and they had done me right about five years ago with the same truck. They recommended that I replace my LQ4 engine for $15K (about $7K just for the engine) because low compression and the persistent misfire on one of the cylendars. I decided to call around to get a second opinion, and three other mechanics confirmed that recommendation because my GMC had 200K miles. FYI LQ4 engines can run for 500K miles if not abused. I decided that if I was going to replace the engine I mind as well just have it rebuilt with some upgrades (pistons and camshaft). One machine shop quoted me $5K but I would have to bring them the engine. Another, Bajas Performance, quoted me $3K. I wanted a mechanic close to Bajas to pull the engine and found US Mechanic, who said they would work with Bajas and reinstall the engine for $2K. Bajas recommended I find a performance tuner and that might be $1K. All said and done, looking at about $6K for all the work, and a tune. Sure beats $15K and I would walk away with a hotter engine. I show up ready to get this done, and Bobby tells me he's ready to do what I asked, but to scratch an itch, he wanted to diagnose the engine himself. I said sure, but I'm looking to rebuild the engine so it isn't necessary. He understood, but just needed to see because he doesn't trust other shops. He calls me back that evening and says an ignition coil took a dump, the compression is perfect, and my truck's engine is beautifully smooth (tested it with a spare coil laying around, which is a sign of a good mechanic). Ted Wiens checked spark plugs and wires but they didn't check the ignition coil and botched the compression test. Ted Wiens charged me almost $1K to "diagnose" and replace just the spark plug wires , and yes that is ridiculous. Bobby and US Mechanic charged me about the same but actually fixed the issue with coils. They ultimately saved me $14K from what Ted Wiens wanted, and about $5K from what I was ready to do. It's been a couple of weeks and no issues have come back. Never seen my console so empty for such a long time. When the time comes to actually rebuild my engine, I have my dream team to get it done.

We had a very pleasant experience with the people at this place. We were on a long road trip and just before we got to Vegas, we got some trouble with our car and needed someone to check it and fix it for us to be able to continue our journey safely. We looked for a mechanic shop on line and decided on this one and after it was all done, we were very happy that we did John took the car in as soon as we got there, checked it for us, told us the problem and proceeded to fix it A bit later Bobby came in and treated us as we were long time repeated customers even though we were just passing by and maybe never have to return there. We really recommend this place to anyone that needs a honest, friendly mechanic

Complete scam and I definitely do not recommend. A simple oil change is 140 plus which includes 50 dollars for labor. THEN they charge to top off your coolant and windshield wiper fluids, which should be complementary. That’s is the craziest thing I have ever heard. It gets better!!! Your full synthetic oil will be a blend of conventional or a full synthetic blend. Do not trust, do not go!
