But Dave and his staff at ultimate car care patched my tire and offered to help me find a reasonably priced tire. It doesn't end there, he repaired my tire, at no charge, and sent me happily on my way. I will be giving him all my future business. As a single woman he treated me with kindness, respect, and honesty. Thank you Dave. Highly recommend.

I had been neglecting my tires for months, even after numerous warnings about their dangerously bald state. This neglect led to a crisis on Route 208 when my tire pressure gauge signaled low pressure, and I soon found myself at Luke Oil with air rapidly escaping from my tire. Desperate and unsure of what to do, I remembered the mechanic shop on Morlott Avenue and Plaza Road, just a couple of blocks away. Despite my semi-flat tire, I managed to drive there, and thank goodness I did. The owner at Ultimate Car Care immediately assessed my tires and was shocked at their condition but reassured me they’d take care of it. Within five minutes, they had a donut on my car and offered me a quote for new tires. Although they didn’t have the tires in stock right then, they promised to have them by Tuesday, even with the long weekend ahead. Their efficiency and professionalism were impressive—they not only replaced my flat quickly but also provided a detailed explanation about mounting, balancing, and alignment. A few days later, I had two brand-new tires installed. Ultimate Car Care’s kindness, diligence, and expertise turned a stressful situation into a manageable one, and I can’t thank them enough for saving the day. They’ve earned a loyal customer for life!

Great experience. Had an off rim, flat lawn tractor tire. Drove around to 4 gas stations looking for one that still had an air hose. While still searching, I saw that Ultimate Car Care’s garage doors were still open, at 5 PM on Saturday. Walked into the garage, saw Dave, told him what I had and he just said, “Bring it in.” Even though it wasn’t automobile related, he still wrestled with it, finally getting the tire to stay on the rim and hold air. He wouldn’t accept money for the repair. Great friendly customer service, impressive shop. I’ll definitely be back for my next repair.

This is the “ultimate car service”. No matter which type of car from Honda to exotic cars ie Mercedes, Dave is the ultimate car surgeon. You will not be disappointed. I evaluate a business by one vital criteria - whether I want to bring my hard-earned $$$ to an owner. And it is resounding YES for Dave and Julio. Not only they are ultimate professionals, it is the welcoming nature of the two that keeps customers coming back. They are the only ones in town who allow customers bring own parts for installation. I am very particular about my brakes - just 2 weeks ago I brought them highly acclaimed Brembo rotors/Akebono pads and they installed them. They would not warrant the parts, since I brought them from outside, but they are proud of their quality installation. I have known the owners for more than 10 years and my approach didn't backfire, though I understand the risks.

I came in for oil change, and new tires and Dave right away said no problem and prioritized my car first. Even though they were busy he made sure that I was taken care of. Oil change was fast and while waiting he talked to me about tires and walked me through 3exact costs, nothing hidden. Honest, Humble and hilarious. The only honest repair shop you will find. Welcoming, Transparent, and negotiable. Dave walked me through process of oil change, getting new tires and i was smooth. For the first time in a long time I felt at ease. A few years ago, I brought my Nissan Altima here after it wouldn’t start. The car was towed from a nearby plaza in Fair Lawn (about a block away). The towing would’ve been $75, but I was not charged for it. I was told the starter was the issue, but later I was informed the alternator was also bad, so the car stayed two days. I was charged $300 total in labor ($150 + $150) and the final bill came out to $1,080. What didn’t sit right with me was being charged labor twice at the same shop by the same mechanic for what felt like one continuous repair. Dave seems knowledgeable, but when I tried to ask questions or discuss pricing, I didn’t feel like I was given the chance to talk or understand the breakdown. I’m sharing this so others can be aware and ask clear questions upfront.

I am so appreciative to Dave for the services he provided when I was at my wits end trying to figure out why my car wasn't turning over when it starts. I had service done by a local mechanic, but he didn't realize when removing parts from the engine could cause the computer system to shut down. Unable to reboot the system because he didn't have the tools, I was left to have the car towed to a shop that specializes in fixing engines and computer systems. Dave's shop was a referral and highly recommended. When I spoke to Dave, he assured me that I called the right place and he was going to help me. He did, and it was beyond my expectations. Just an all around good person, very straight forward and honest. That's very rare these days, especially many places take your money and never fix the problem. Although there is a cost with computer systems, my car is now purring like a cat......when it's like that, the cost was worth it. Thanks Dave, you've got a customer for life.
