I have my son on the wait list for at least two years before they even open 3 months before the school starts they tell me they don't have a spot for him they took my $50 application fee the owner of this place Amy told me that they don't even want my son to go there she's very rude very unprofessional I wouldn't send my son there I'd be worried on what's going on there if they're already rude with the parents what's happening there no professionalism at all. I would give them 0 Star and I wouldn't send my son there at all. I'm glad that things happen for a reason but this upward trend academy sucks

I can’t say enough about this school and their amazing staff! We struggled for years to find a school or program that was the right fit for our daughter. Upward Trend Academy is the kind of school that a parent could only ever dream of. We were preparing to uproot our entire family to find our autistic daughter a school where she would be safe and loved . When UTA came into our lives it felt like we could finally breathe for the first time in her life. The staff is incredible and I know without a shadow of a doubt my child is in the very best hands .

My son has been attending for 6 months so far for ABA therapy and I couldn’t be happier to have found this wonderful place for my child. Everyone is so kind and understanding. The staff is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and everyone I have crossed paths with definitely have a passion for what they do. My kiddo can be a challenge and I am so grateful to have found a place that focuses on his strengths and is also helping and giving me the tools I need to help my child grow. There aren’t enough stars I can give.

This is our first year at UpwardTrend. We moved to the Daytona area in 2018 and had trouble finding a private school. In 2021, we started searching again and were excited to find UTA. The administration and teachers are professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and caring toward our kids. We feel fortunate to have found the school and to begin this academic year at UTA.

Our 8 year old son has been attending Upward Trend since they opened for both school and ABA therapy. The staff has always been extremely nice and professional at all times. Any issues that our son has are communicated to us and therapy plans used to help address them as well.
Prior to attending Upward Trend , our son had numerous issues in public school and fighting for basic issues such as safety. With Upward Trend this is no longer an issue.
Overall we cannot be happier with Upward Trend!

Our son has been attending this school this year for the first time and it is the first time we do not get calls from the director/principal/teacher to come pick him up because of behavioral issues. They really are angels here and bring tears to my eyes on how much they help special needs and our community. We need more of these schools. We make the drive so he can attend and get the help he needs. They are so understanding and kind. I can’t rave about this school enough! We thank you upward trend for all you do and your compassion for our children who are very capable on having a great independent future. We are planning on staying with Upward Trend and even getting our youngest son who is also autistic the help he needs through their therapy. God bless you all! We can't say enough good about UTA! Our son who is autistic had been in and out of 3 different schools (public & private) before enrolling him with UTA. Since then, he's greatly improved with his academics and his behavioral issues, mainly due to UTA's flexibility and creative ABA methodologies (with our collaboration).
In addition to the owners being highly experienced and credentialed, the school is very SAFE, well organized, clean, and all the staff share a love for the kids and helping them achieve their goals. We're able to request conferences whenever we need and their always available to help.
Again, I could go on and on but the bottom line is we couldn't be happier and are thrilled to see our son's progress and for the first time, he "likes" going to school!!

The teacher MissEmily was yelling in my son‘s ear And other students told me about it Also, my son Was called racist names from another child and I was not notified about it, but the other parent was that I spoke with.Never felt a genuine conversation about my childs well-being. at that school their most concern is how will they get more money! We tried to start ABA therapy and they had him in regular Summer Camp I’m not one to write reviews, but this needs to be known so it doesn’t happen to other parents and children.

The Upward Trend Academy is by far the best option for my daughter.
They have worked with her on her strengths and built her weaknesses.
I do not know where I would be without them. As a parent, my biggest reason - to go to work is knowing my kiddo is in a safe , caring environment with people who know how to work with her. For this I am blessed. Amy and Lindsay ( for me and my tribe) are the biggest contributions to this community.
They are building a successful foundation for our children to become successful adults.

To think I’ll ever be leaving this review.. Our son attended this ABA center for four years. In the beginning, they gave us so much hope. The staff seemed to care and worked hard to help him grow. But as time went on and the center expanded, everything changed.
They slowly reduced his hours huge red flag! It became obvious they no longer had the capacity or desire to support him. It was heartbreaking to watch them give up on our child after years of trust and commitment.
We ultimately made the painful decision to pull him out. That experience set our son back in ways we’re still healing from. Thankfully, he’s now in a place where he’s finally receiving the care and attention he truly deserves.
Families deserve better. Our kids deserve better. We share this in hopes other families stay alert and always advocate for what their child deserves consistent, individualized care.
