Got tires last week from Van's and was very pleased. Their service was great, the 4 new tires have been a nice smooth ride that i didnt have to pay an arm and a leg for. I'm also having them look at/fix other things as well, i go back in the next week to pinpoint a leak. Highly recommended if you need an honest fair an welcoming place to take your car, they'll take good care of you like they have me so far!

I would recommend Van’s tire on Waterloo Rd in Akron to anyone who ever asked me to refer them somewhere. Adam at the front desk is absolutely amazing as well as the rest of the crew. They got me in there in a timely matter. They walked me through and showed me all the problems and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg . So so very friendly and competent and I will always take my vehicles there. SUPER HAPPY with how very professional everyone is. KUDOS TO VAN’s!!!!

We had a great experience at Van’s. We had appointments for tire installation on two cars. The whole team seemed to work well with one another. We arrived late to our appointment due to unforeseen traffic issues. They were very kind and reassured us they could still accommodate us. Adam was great! He was honest and transparent with the whole process. They did provide me with other service recommendations but I never felt pressured or intimidated to make a decision right then and there. I will be back in the future.

I took my car there after my car accident to make sure no damage was done to the alignment of my car. Not only did they fix my alignment, they also fixed the reverse light that had been damaged and took my car to a near by collision center to get a quote for me for the rear bumps. Jason is amazing and Adam is one of the most patient and detailed people you can ask for. I recommend them 100 times over!

The staff are wonderful. The best customer experience which is hard to find. My family and I buy our tires here and pay for the warranty which has been a blessing for all of us. I was having a tough morning, asked Triple A to recommend a shop that could get me in cuz I curb busted my tire before work stopping at the bank. They towed me to a place that doesn’t even do tires on site the day before Thanksgiving. I’d heard of Vans and it was never a negative story. I called in and Adam, Josh and Tony were all helpful and encouraged me to get it to them and they’d take care of me asap. After a second tow and much frustration about that point I’d made it to a packed Vans and didn’t think there was any way they’d get it done that day, it was already moon! They gave me a ride home as I’d given up on making it into work. I was shocked when I got a call just 2.5 hrs later, I’d busted the tire AND the ball joint and they could fix me up same day! They offered financing if needed and said I would hear from them soon to come pick it up! They didn’t try selling me things I didn’t need and were honest, communicated clearly in a way I understood and have gained a new customer and recommendation from me if I’m ever asked. Thank You Vans!

A few lights on my dash kept coming on and off--took it in here for a look over. Even though I dropped it off on a holiday they got me in early the next day. Josh explained very thoroughly what could be happening and gave me some options, but didn't pressure me into a certain fix and didn't charge me when I decided to not get any work done. Wouldn't even let me compensate them for their time when I offered! As a single girl in her 20s I felt very taken care of here and would highly recommend this place.

Sadly, I have to update my review from 3 years ago from 5 stars to 2. Management has changed since then and so has the quality of service. This new manager doesn't know how to process warranty claims. I am a former auto technician and am now disabled. I have noticed the way this service department upsells is not your typical. Typically, they will get you in the door with sales and point out things your vehicle will soon need. Now this department will cause problems and wait for a mechanical failure so you'll bring it back to them. I hate having to write this review. I've always trusted this location. I will be speaking with the regional manager about this soon. Hopefully they will fix this problem. While I was there, a customer came in with an appointment to get a leaking tire fixed. The manager told the customer that he could put air in it. The customer explained that it leaks out but the manager would not fix the tire even after the customer explained the tire leaks. He just wanted to put air in it. Not only did I have the experience of the manager not knowing or maybe he just didn't want to process a warranty claim, but he also refused to repair the other customers tire who had an appointment to do so right in front of me. I've never seen this lack of quality in all my 25 years of dealing with Van's. Fix the manager problem and these low star reviews will reverse.

Don't trust this auto shop went there for add for tire balance and alignment for 99$ that's all I wanted tried telling me I needed 1300 dollars worth of work said absolutely not then they said okay 1000 dollars you can drop 300 off just like that lol worse than the old midas muffler commission guys this place gives mechanics a bad name i highly recommend you take your vehicle to a place you can trust try to take advantage of people is a bad business they would rob you if you let them sad and I looked up the parts they said one was 20$ the other 90$ took to another shop and got all done for 460 dollars

My tire lost like 6 pounds overnight and I called Josh and he got me in and out so quick!! Very friendly guy and great people skills, I had a time constraint and he worked around my schedule!!! I fully expected to be waiting for a while but I was out of there in an hour, talk about great service!!! Definitely going back to these guys if I need anything done in the future. Truly phenomenal guys.

I went to Van's Auto on the corner of Waterloo and Brown and had the 2 coolest guys greet me and gave me a hell of a laugh and a great service. Josh, Mike, and the rest of the team worked hard and gave my Chevy Tahoe an incredible Bumper to Bumper inspection, and to throw in some great service....also took a deep dive into my warranty to make sure I didn't do nothing I wasn't supposed to. Josh and the whole crew are amazing! I had my car at Kia 3 times for the same issue and they kept saying they couldn’t find anything wrong. Got it to Van’s and they got the issue identified and fixed within 2 days! They have top notch service and their communication is the best in the business!
