Was at 3 different places and they could not fix my leaking tire. Brought it here and he found the bead was leaking around the tire and got it fixed. To add to this review I had a 4 wheel alignment done and he nailed it the first time and price was great also.

My son told me to go there because I'd been rooked so many times. I'm a senior citizen. I knew I had a few issues going in and they found every one of them. They even did a few things the day I was there and we made a scheduled appointment for the rest of the work to get done. Good people to work with. They covered this repair completely under warranty, even though the labor warranty had expired by several months, and despite the fact that the repair was needed due to a manufacturing defect. He said they’d cover it because it was the fair thing to do. You rarely see such an honest attitude in business these days. A great auto repair experience!

These guys are amazing to work with! I used to be a certified auto tech, so I know things and do most of my own work on my cars. I wanted to try their service shop because they are close to where I live. I was charged more for labor than I was quoted for one service. I had them check out two other issues their "free safety inspection" indicated. I was charged for the inspections. Most businesses have a flat rate for the diagnosis they charge. Here they charged the time it took cutting no breaks for labor. I had a coupon for $50 off a bill of over $225. That was not honored either. The estimates were excessive $968 for a rear brake job (including parts), $190 (including parts) to replace both front stabilizer links. I went somewhere else to get the work done for a lot less money. The rear brakes only required the pads, and rotors to be replaced. Van Zeeland's estimate said I needed rear calipers also. Front link kits that are only $12 each, the labor quoted to replace them was high at Van Zeeland's. After this experience, I will not be back.

Did the service in one business day despite it being a lot of work. Posted photos of the issues for me to see, called when an issue arose. In the past if they got something wrong (and you already payed) they would do the other repair for free. Knocked a star off because they forgot to take off a charge but refunded me promptly. So a convince star off.

Got me in quickly, pricing wasn’t awful. They did try to get me to do $170 diagnostics, even when I told them exactly what needed done. However, I couldn’t help but feel they were trying to take advantage of me because I’m a woman, mostly because of the “free” inspection they had done suggesting I need roughly $3500 in repairs. For instance, I had my rear differential fluid changed 4 days before I came to the shop and then had not drove my vehicle since, and they recommended I change it again.

Went there to get tire plugged. Waited an hour than noticed that they had my hood up. Went to service counter and told them that was only there for a tire plug. Tried making some accuse. No one should be preforming tasks without approval. Than was charge to balance tire. Never gave approval for that. Wish I could give 0 stars.

The one star rating is for the outrageous quote I got for a tune up. Quoted as $250 just for spark plugs. The new general manager knocked off $20 - don't make me laugh! He insulted my intelligence. I also asked him to look at my headlights which needed replacing and was looking for a quote on getting my window fixed. This person was virtually useless. It reminded me why I stopped using Van Zealand's (I used to get my car fixed at the location on Prospect in the early 2000's before I knew better). Avoid.
