Initially, we had a very negative experience with the collision center due to repairs not being completed properly which left our car deemed unsafe to drive along with our brakes sustaining damage due to the car being stored improperly while on site. Communication was a major issue as our concerns were ignored despite our repeated attempts to discuss the issues.
This experience shook our confidence and especially bothered us because we had the pleasure of knowing Ken Vance in years past. He was an amazing person who displayed utmost integrity and honesty, and he saw being humble as a strength. He was always eager to seek ways to improve and got so excited each time he discovered a way to fix something. The initial experience we had at Vance Collision did not reflect the values Ken Vance displayed.
We were recently contacted by Justin Larsen at Ken Vance Hyundai who had heard about our experience, genuinely wanted to discuss it, and was sincere about resolving the issue. He took the time to gather the facts, respond to our questions, seek a fair solution, and acknowledge what had happened. This was a breath of fresh air. Justin displayed the same values that Ken Vance worked hard for to build his dealership.
While we are disappointed with the initial experience, we greatly appreciate Justin reaching out, and we especially appreciate the respect he has shown to Ken Vance’s legacy as a result of him taking the time to address this issue. Thank you for not only taking care of us as customers, but for also caring for all that Ken Vance worked for.
