Brought my car in for for some bodywork. The quality of the work is definitely 5 Stars, however there has been quite a hiccup with getting no or wrong info about a completion and completion Dates been pushed out a couple times. That said,I go to a point where I wrote a complaint Email to the management, which was extremely responsive and put in good effort to get things right. I think there is some room for improvement on the communication side of things, but overall I might give those guys another shot if I have bodywork to be done.

I will give you a full report as soon as this has been solved .I’m only giving them one star because I can’t give them less. Depending on the outcome of this, I will come back and tell you how it ended, but as it stands, I do not recommend them at all. I have never been more disappointed in my life. My car is still there after multiple lies. When I went to go pick it up because they said it was ready. It has developed two problems in the time. It has been left in their service. Their communication has been terrible and cost me money that I didn’t have as a single mother. The level of disappointment… I have no words this car is what takes me to add from my son’s doctors appointment today may not be able to take him to after this because my car is in worse shape than it was when I dropped it off I have not heard an update , Hyundai thinks my car is complete when it’s still sitting there and not finished they put me back on a rental car because it wasn’t safe to drive home after they told me it was ready to pick up the bungee corded a battery in my car that didn’t fit that I paid for because they ruined my battery during service and they removed the brackets because it did not fit and proceeded to not tell me until I paid for it, and then my rpm gauge started sweeping and malfunctioned, and Mark engine was revving. God help us. This was my dream car. I need it for work. I need the money in my account that that was debited because they didn’t communicate with Statefarm about the repair timing or enterprise Rent-A-Car and I have yet to be reimbursed for the battery for my gas for my time and for the payment I was charged because they didn’t communicate with my insurance, State Farm and or enterprise Rent-A-Car. My car is in a state of disrepair and they lied to me about what was wrong why it was wrong and when it was ready it is costing me money I don’t have , I will let you know when this is resolved how this ends. I can only hope they have some decency in them & they make this, right. And they cut corners and have deceived me.

They gave me a loaner to use for the entire time, and when I finally did get my vehicle back it looked great and clean! Overall, they do good work. However, don't rely on communication from them. After I initially dropped off my car, they said they would have an estimate compiled in a little over 48 hours. A week and 2 days later I started calling them. Then, I called my insurance company, and they called them. No response to either of us. From what I understand, my insurance company sent a local person to see what was happening, which finally led them to complete the estimate. This utter lack of communication was very disappointing for such a mainstream business. On the bright side, they finished my car a day early which I appreciate. However, after my experience I will be unlikely to return unless it's the last option on this half of the state.

Initially, we had a very negative experience with the collision center due to repairs not being completed properly which left our car deemed unsafe to drive along with our brakes sustaining damage due to the car being stored improperly while on site. Communication was a major issue as our concerns were ignored despite our repeated attempts to discuss the issues. This experience shook our confidence and especially bothered us because we had the pleasure of knowing Ken Vance in years past. He was an amazing person who displayed utmost integrity and honesty, and he saw being humble as a strength. He was always eager to seek ways to improve and got so excited each time he discovered a way to fix something. The initial experience we had at Vance Collision did not reflect the values Ken Vance displayed. We were recently contacted by Justin Larsen at Ken Vance Hyundai who had heard about our experience, genuinely wanted to discuss it, and was sincere about resolving the issue. He took the time to gather the facts, respond to our questions, seek a fair solution, and acknowledge what had happened. This was a breath of fresh air. Justin displayed the same values that Ken Vance worked hard for to build his dealership. While we are disappointed with the initial experience, we greatly appreciate Justin reaching out, and we especially appreciate the respect he has shown to Ken Vance’s legacy as a result of him taking the time to address this issue. This one's for the body shop! The guys in the body shop did an absolutely insane job on our 2011 RAV4. I called around, not gonna mention names, but all were hesitant to work on our our car, I even had a lady who just answers phones tell me that they wouldn't touch it! That's crazy. But the Guys here at Ken Vance didn't even flinch. Not only did we get FRIENDLY service, we got a reasonable quote, and a great turn around time. Before wasting your time with any of the other body shops around town, listening to excuses from the lady at the front desk, call Ken Vance. Everyone was very friendly but Andy was super helpful throughout the whole process!

Extremely disappointing experience — not worth the time or money. I was initially quoted around $1,000 for a minor fender bender with no engine damage, which is already high. When I showed up for the repair, I was blindsided with a $2,700 bill — nearly 3x the original estimate, with zero communication or approval from me beforehand. Luckily I was able to go through insurance. When I questioned the price, I was casually told “it’s normal for the price to be 2–3 times more,” as if that excuses the lack of transparency. What they did is actually illegal in Wisconsin. By law, if a repair shop wants to charge more than 10% above the estimate, they’re required to get your permission first. They never did. The repair took about two weeks, even though I was told it would be done in about a week. I had to chase them down for updates, getting transferred to voicemail and ignored until I called back myself. To top it off, a chip in my windshield wasn’t repaired, and they never mentioned it or explained what happened with that part of the claim. Bottom line: go somewhere else if you value honesty, communication, or your money. Save yourself the headache.
