Been here a few times and normally takes about 45-1 hr for an oil change which is ok cuz I usually walk around the store. Today I have been here almost 3 hours and still waiting!!! Would have been nice to have been told prior to leaving my car that there’s only 1 tech working!! Not only that but he’s trying someone which is taking him longer than usual. Communication is key! I am an understanding person I could have left my car and walked to the gym across or asked someone to pick me up. No one said anything until about half hour ago after I had questioned the wait time twice.

Now their policy and system is changed that you have to make reservation online or on the phone beforehand. I made an appointment at 4pm, and the oil change for my car was done at 7pm. It took so long even with the reservation. Other than the long wait, most services were excellent. All the staffs are working hard and the price was reasonable.

Honestly pretty disappointed with this location. I told them to change the oil, rotate tires, and check my TPMS sensor batteries since my light went on recently even though I knew my tires were filled properly. When I came to pick up my car, they told me that "my tires were just not filled all the way" and that "the sensor light would go off after a while of driving". I thought nothing of it, and went back to my car to check it out after I paid. Upon coming back to my car, the check TPMS light was still on. I thought that was weird, maybe they just forgot to reset it? I got the attention of an older gentleman who worked there who also thought that was strange, and he proceeded to check the TPMS sensors right there with me, and several of the batteries were dead, they hadn't even checked! This type of thing will definitely keep me from coming back and I believe it's indicative of the type of service you'll get here. I believe the name of the technician who worked on my tires is Alex or Alexander, this type of behavior at an auto shop is unacceptable and a huge liability for Walmart, and he should honestly probably be fired. The only reason I might consider coming back is because the older gentleman was kind enough to actually listen to me, check it for me on the spot, and give me the honest truth about what he thought had probably happened. Walmart, please maintain internal checks and balances to make sure this type of thing doesn't happen in the future, and be honest with your customers. This issue should probably be looked into further, I'm probably not the only one this has happened to. Not a big deal for me, but for a different customer this could be a major problem.

Do not bring your car here. They hire unskilled unqualified people and don’t train / supervise them. Their team was a specific list of things for them to check (codes etc) after an hour of waiting we were told the car was ready. Though the crew chief was told the work had been done it had not. The only upside was the chief listening and noticing he had been lied to (good on him).

Had an appointment to install 2 tires. Yes two tires no rotate just install to new tires with appointment. This is now 2 hours. 2 hours I'm still waiting. The items I was going to buy from Wal-Mart I put back. Horrible, I installed tires on my second job. Back in 1985 and then I could mount and ballance a tire in about 15 minutes. Not today with all this new tech, it over an hour. WOW

Shane greeted me and took care of an oil change. He was wonderfully informative and helped with other general auto care questions I had. Tony was also very helpful with helping me locate the proper engine air filter for my car. Got 2 tired installed. Excellent price. Buying and scheduling a time for installation online was super simple. The only con was I was told by another tire center that I needed 2 new tires. I wasn't sure which ones so when I went to Walmart I told them. The check in guy said "I think it's the back ones". The "I think" party didn't instill confidence but I still got my 2 tired. Their service was fast and friendly. This is my new tire shop.

When you go to Walmart Tires Department, one of their supervisors, ALBERT, is an angel. He is the best thing that happened to Walmart Tires Store in Newhall, California. He listens and he makes sure you are satisfied. All the other employees should have ALBERT train them. A great place to change your tires if ALBERT is on duty.

Checked a few places to replace 4 tires on my wifes Nissan Rogue. Decided to get a set of Douglas tires that are manufactured by Kelly / Goodyear. After checking with them, the specific tires we wanted were in stock. But it would take about 3 hours. We decided to go home since we live close by and get my vehicle. Back within 20 minutes, again verify the specific tires, hand over.the keys and leave. We return about 3.5 hours later and can see the tires have been changed. They looked a little bigger (height), but thought they looked different because they were new. Went inside paid and got the print out. My wife notices the brand of tire isn't what we selected. We had selected a 225 and 245's were on the vehicle. Even though these were probably more expensive, I didn't know anything about the brand. We went back inside and an employee came out to verify. She went back and got the manager. He verified they were the incorrect tires, after checking to see somehow if it was an honest mistake. He asked if we had 30 minutes. I asked who manufactures the tires, and indicated a conpany from China. Now I know there are some really good tires made in China, but not knowing which one I wanted the ones we selected. (An offer to keep them was not an option made) They didn't offer anything to compensate for their mistake or our time we had to wait. They changed the tires, we checked all 4 and they were all correct. I followed my wife home, and she noticed none of the tires were at the correct pressure, and none at the same pressure. You would think after the error they made, they would make sure everything was correct. My wife will be going back tomorrow.

I have an appointment at Walmart Auto Centers in Santa Clarita, Ca. To change back tires car, at 9:00 a.m was raining my car entered at 9:08 the attendant was very helpful , I filled some paper the guy asked me some questions, for a while I saw they have several brand tires an cheaper. at 10:02 my car was ready to go. Excellent customer service .this Walmart very recommended.

Opens 7am. Good idea to arrive at 6:30am to line up. Greeted by Walter who is a very polite young man. Moses the mechanic also very polite, patient and helpful. Great prices. Shopping inside store or grab one of the chairs for seating. They check tire pressure, vacuum front floors, add water to wipers, clean windshield. Nice added service. At the end Walter checked the tires and explained the type of tires I should be looking for... grade A/A All Season 500 grade. Second time here and quite happy. Will return.

I just drove over an hour here in heavy traffic due to the relatively high rating of this place as compared to other Walmart Auto Centers (3.5/5 vs 2.8/5 average) and was very much let down by the lack of service here. I needed to get a battery replaced in a 2013 Mini Cooper and I wanted it handled professionally, so I scheduled an appointment for a battery change for 2 PM in the Walmart app. Upon arrival, I waited inside while the guys ran back and forth shouting vulgarities to one another. A good sign of a quality shop. However, when it came time for intake, the guy couldn't figure out how to open the hood. Not a good sign. Then he saw where the battery lives on these cars (under a plastic protector held by a couple of bolts. He was unwilling to do anything with it due to the involved nature of it and claimed it would be too difficult and that it is against policy. The entire reason I bought a battery from Walmart is that they claimed they would be willing to install it. Their app clearly allows Mini Coopers to be scheduled for appointments. So either on the technical design end of the app or on the skills end of the shop, something needs to give. Inexcusable lack of service. I will, of course, handle it myself. Walmart disappoints as usual.

I originally came here Sunday, the tire people stated that my lug nuts were too tight and they didn’t want to take the responsibility of breaking a bolt when they loosened it. I asked if I can borrow their breaker bar and I would take the responsibility and put it outside of the tire shop, they said they’re not allowed to and I would have to come back. I loosened all the boats with the breaker bar, myself at home, not too much effort needed. Came back five days later to get the tires install installed. I made an appointment 2pm, got off work early and I called, they told me to come in early. It’s fine since I was 10 minutes down the street. As seen in the photo, I arrived at 11:53 a.m. At about 2:10 PM, one of the guys came out and asked me if I had the tires because they cannot find them. After about 15 minutes of searching, they could not find any tires that were the ones I bought. The manager came over to me and told me that they could not find the tires. I could re-order them and come back another day, after being there already for 2 1/2 hours, I asked if I could just buy the next level up that they had in stock. I ended up buying the next level up, she stated that two of their technicians will be working on my car so it will be done as soon as possible, this is at 2: 30 p.m. 4:15 PM, the two text finished installing the tires on my car as seen in the screenshot that shows when my vehicle is ready. In conclusion, Pros: I did save about $200 in total because they waived the installation fee for the tires because of the disaster. The manager was nice enough about it, and it was a no fault of her. Cons: It took 4 1/2 hours in total to get four tires installed. They had two techs working on my vehicle and it still took them over two hours to install four tires, maximum it would take would be 45 minutes at any other tire shop. You get what you pay for, knowing that I know now I wouldn’t have wasted 4 1/2 hours today and an hour and a half the first day and the drive from Northridge both times to save 2-300, however, it may be worth it for you.

Horrible Service. Techs are not well trained, avoid this place at all cause. Didn’t wanted to do this place originally because of the bad reviews but hat too last minute because the other Walmart cancelled my appointment last minute. Big mistake. Ended up with three of my rims scratched and pieces of paint “chipped” off. Lesson learned .

Stay away from this incompetent walmart, i bought 2 sets of new Douglas tires, on that very day it got heated and busted on the free way living the tire with multiple holes, i immediately drove back to walmart and explained what had happened, i talked to a guy called joena and he was the one who worked on me that very morning , and checked the tire and aggred to give me a replacement and said i will only pay for installation fee they will Horner the warranty and then told me it's already 6.00pm we can't do overtime comeback tomorrow we shall have it fixed for you , then i asked him to give me a note to acknowledge what we hard aggred on to which he said no, I will explain again if i return, they will understand, Then i came back the next morning i met the assistant manager who checked the tire and greed to work on it , I sat in side waiting for my car to be finished the guy came back 40 minutes later and i asked him if my car was done, he said no I was going to Horner the warranty but we think something poked the tire so you have to buy a new tire , let me call the general manager what ever she says will be what I go with and the manager didn't even take time to understand she came in with a no answer registered on her face .when I explained what I talked with joena she pretended not to know him and I described how he looks then she said okay but all that was to play games with me, then she disregarded all the conversation I had with joena, and followed the new conversation that the assistant come with. With that being said they will find any reason to not give you anew tire and she said maybe if i had bought an additional warranty which is for 10 $ they would've fixed it. They have very very poor quality tiers , so they are aware that such situations will happen to people and the solution to this problem is to turn you into a fool, trust them at your own risk. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I end up buying a new tire which I didn't have to,I am very disappointed in them It may not be much but you lost me as a customer.
