Disclaimer, I am a very particular person, which I did make sure and communicate at the time of the estimate. Overall, they did decent work, but I cant give over 3 stars due to the following. There are a few dimples in the new paint on the front panel between the grille & bumper, but not noticeable enough to have it re-painted. While they were working on my truck, one of the tech's ran a cart into my front fender causing a scratch & damage (was not part of the repairs needed from the accident), but they repainted and cleared that fender to fix it (was not thrilled about that) and it turned out well. Then I went to inspect prior to pick up and noticed about 5 scuffs / scratches that needed to be buffed out on the newly repaired area, they did it immediately in front of me, turned out good. Finally, still while inspecting, I found a door ding on the drivers door! At this point, I now had damage on 2 other locations of the vehicle unrelated to the front end accident and spots that had to be fixed that wouldn't have needed to be repaired otherwise. They had PDR done on the door and it too turned out perfect. They seem to do decent work, but there was some pain along the way. I may have been just unlucky and this seldom happens in their shop, I have no idea, so I cant be too hard on them. They did use OEM parts and got everything approved with no issues with my adjuster. I was also able to return my Enterprise rental truck to the body shop, that is a nice agreement they have with the rental car company.

I was rear ended on the interstate on Father’s Day, Waln was very professional and answered all my questions, they explained there would be a delay because of all the work they had at the moment, which is fine and nothing anyone can control. They got my car back to me good as new, this is the second car I have had them repair and they are above reproach! Highly recommend if you need your car fixed after an accident!

They really did an excellent job with detailing our vehicles. And price was fair. I would have given 5 stars but customer service was slightly lacking. Overall, they handled things well, but aspects of the transaction were not very pleasant. Still, good price, excellent work, and overall they had good customer service.

One of the premier auto repair shops in Iowa and the Midwest. I can personally vouch for this place. 5 years ago I missed hitting a deer and did damage to my vehicle. My insurance company recommended this place. They worked their magic and within a couple of weeks my vehicle looked brand new. Flash forward to MLK weekend of 2023 and a big buck came out of nowhere and ran into me. Shaved off front right wheel well and front bumper of my vehicle. County deputy said I was lucky the thing didn't crash through my windshield. I was able to drive back home but was told it would be awhile getting it repaired. Despite the hassle of life today WALN did a great job in repairing my vehicle. Again it looks brand new. This place is open at convenient days and hours. Their staff are professional and courteous. They give you updates on when/how long the repair is going. Friendly people here. Can't say anything bad at all. In my opinion this place is best.

They were behind on repairs due to last summers storm and managed to sneak my repairs in quickly, they also told me it would take at least 3 days and it took less time than expected. Finally, they were up front and honest with issues they came across, and after explaining I would have to return in a few weeks when they had the needed part, they also stated that there would be no cost to the second visit. This was my first time using there service and I can happily say it will not be the last!

I would give them a 0 if I could! Unimpressed with every aspect of my experience with them. I went here based on recommendations from 2 people I personally know. Waln had my truck for 35 days to do what 2 other body shops said was 7-10 days max. My insurance paid out 69 total hours on the claim and it took them 35 days to do that. I asked for all OEM parts to be used as Ford will price match aftermarket parts. Waln said they would do that. They did not! They said there was damage to a window from the hail but when the insurance didn't agree Waln claimed they never said that. I have a recorded phone call with their estimator saying the damage was from the hail but he denies saying that. I went to 2 auto glass companies after Waln was done with their work and both say the damage was almost certainly from the hail. 3 trim/moulding pieces were not put back on properly. I went to 2 other body shops after Waln was done with their work to ask about 2 spots I had concerns with and was told by both that it was dried bondo on top of the paint. They were just sloppy! There was a paint chip less than 4" away from a dent that would have had to have been repainted and they left it. When I asked them about it they said that it wasn't caused by the hail and they weren't being paid to fix it. I had another body shop replace a bumper on a car last year and when they painted the bumper they also painted some paint chips around the wheel wells that they weren't being paid for as they said it only took about 10 more minutes to do both sides since they already had everything out. Very unimpressed with the entire experience!

They provide an awesome warranty as well. Like the commercial says, while I hope I don’t find myself needing them again, I will definitely use them again if necessary!! I cannot say enough about how wonderful Waln Repair and Collision Center is! They evaluated my car quickly and got me in for an appointment right away. They dealt with the insurance company and communicated with the rental car company to ensure everything went smoothly. They kept my car indoors at night and even transported it to the dealership as needed for a repair of the electrical system! They did a beautiful job with my car and returned it to me much faster than expected. Not to mention that each and every person I talked to at Waln was extremely friendly and helpful. After my accident I took my vehicle to Waln because the insurance company said they were an approved repair shop. I was very impressed with all of the staff that I worked with, everyone is so friendly there. Mike Daly did my estimate, he did a good job explaining to me what needed to be repaired. After they started working on my vehicle, Mike realized there was more damage then he realized. He did a great job communicating with me on the additional cost and communicating with the insurance company for approval of all repairs needed. The vehicle was repaired within the timeline they gave me when the estimate was prepared.

I would never do business with this company ever again. I don’t recommend them at all! Took them over 4 weeks to get the repairs done. I understand that it takes time to get parts and other repairs before us. Told them NOT to report damages to the insurance company and the response back was “we forgot “. I understand that they give you an estimate for parts and labor but when the estimate is $1600 more why wouldn’t they reach out to explain the additional repairs and costs. All I got is sorry. Made a complete mess with my insurance company
