Unfortunately, I will no longer shop here. I loved shopping for craft ideas, painting materials, and was always greeted and assisted every time. Until today, I like to browse, then noticed I was being followed, so I waited for the sales person to ask me if I needed assistance, nope....nothing. There were only a few shoppers in the store, and she assisted them, but kept watching me. Not until I was about to walk out the door, did she ask if I found what i needed?

I love this locally owned hardware store. Susan was truly helpful in assisting me find non-traditional tomato cages today. The manager Brent even helped track down a couple of cages that weren’t on the floor. This is why you will continue to have my business! Great customer service all around! Keep up the awesome work!

Always friendly and knowledgeable. They will often have small things that the big box stores won't. It's like your small town hardware store in the middle of the city. Also always good deals on Christmas lights when it's that time of year.

I’ve been a longtime customer and the employees have always been very helpful and polite until I recently rented a carpet cleaner that reeked of mold. The woman at the front desk was quite rude and cranky. When I spoke to the store manager they came across as unconcerned and dismissive. Plenty of other hardware store options in Lincoln so no way they’ll get any more of my business.

I have been a customer for over ten years here. Everyone has always been extremely helpful, and more than willing to help me with any projects I've been working on. I try to never buy hardware anywhere else because this is not only one of the best hardware stores in the city, but maybe the best retailer, period. This place is the epitome of a store that cares about its customers and sees that everyone finds what they need. The employees are really knowledgeable about all the products in the store... nothing beats the combination of convenience, price and service that this place has.

I spoke with two gals while I was shopping here and they were both so sweet and kind. One was Monica and the other gal's name I missed, but she had beautiful long gray/white hair. They were both so kind and helpful. I found what I was looking for and I was able to use my coupon that I had as well.

I go out of my way to shop here, over 20 blocks farther than the hardware stores closer to me, because these folks are always friendly, and always know how to answer my question. If they don't know right away, they know somebody who does. It has been my go-to hardware store for the 8 years that I've lived in lincoln.

Let me tell you, I’m not pleased with how we been duped in most cases when shopping. I hand out a lot of 1-3 star reviews on retailers and their slim selection of product. Ace hardware has never been that store that skimmed on cost and quality and provide a wide selection of products not available at most. Sure Walmart says they got it cheaper but not in store we’ll actually they drop shipping now from china but they will refund your money happily when you decide a few weeks later when it never comes. Amazingly enough I swear they have besides big building supplies they've got everything you could possibly need and then some. They've been very easy to work with does the other day I brought in an air filter that I thought I was going to use when I got warm out and my apartment complex put in a new unit in the meantime and so I needed a new size and I had no receipt and they had no problem exchanging it. And you can tell the guys that work there the older guys they've been there for a while they know what they're talking about is clothes convenient saves me an extra half hour of time and headaches that could have been avoided. Well worth the money and on power tools they are very competitive. Only thing is I wish they stayed open another hour later
