I've used a few mobile mechanics my entire life and I must say Chris is the best!!! I was having some trouble with a very stubborn alternator bolt that ended up getting stripped and I gave him a call to see if he could help me out. He said he could help no problem and continued to ask questions of what methods I had used etc. He asked for me to send him very specific pictures to his cell number (which made it convenient and quick). He said no problem I can be there in about an hour. Not only was timing perfect with my schedule I thought it was fairly quick for him to get to me so I agreed. As soon as he showed up he gave me a heads up that wether it took him 3 minutes or 3 hours the quote he had given me would remain the same. I absolutely loved that he disclosed that right away and it gave me peace at mind. Also let me add, he is extremely clean and organized!! Another great sign when dealing with a mobile mechanic. He also accepts cards!! It was nothing but back to back great little details that I noticed he takes to give a great experience. I highly recommend!!

My AC was not turning on in my 2010 Nissan Altima. I was able to isolate the problem to a faulty compressor clutch. I did not have a floor jack, stand, or the proper tools to replace it, so I took my car to Temecula Nissan for servicing, but they did not carry, or sell just the clutch assembly which was a $40 part, so Nissan wanted to replace the entire compressor at a cost of about $1200 not including labor. I offered to provide a new clutch for them to install, and they said they do not install customer supplied parts. I then called a local automotive AC shop and they also wanted to replace the entire compressor. I then deicded to call Chris at Wrench Mobile. I figured my best bet to have just the clutch replaced was with a mobile mechanic who did not have the overhead of having a brick and motar shop, so he did not need to sell me a part I did not need at a 300 - 400% mark up. Mark showed up on time and was very friendly. Removing the single bolt that held the clutch on the compressor spline turned out to be a very hard job because Nissan used loctite and a recessed allen head bolt instean of a traditional hex bolt. Because of the loctite the allen head stripped, but Chris was eventually able to remove the bolt showing great skill, resourcefulness, and patience. He then was able to quickly install the new clutch assembly along with a new serpentine belt. Unfortunately Chris spent 5 times what he estimated to complete the job because of that stubburn bolt, but he would not accept a penny more for what he quoted ($235) for the job showing he is an honest mechanic with great integrity. Chris took on a job the dealership and a local auto ac shop would not, or could not do saving me over $1500. additionally I found Chris to be a exceptionally intelligent, fun, and interestig person to talk to. I really enjoyed the time spent with him while he worked on my car. I will definitely be using Chris for the majority of my car repairs in the future, and I highly recommend him. Don't waste your time, and pay for parts you don't need by going to a dealership for costly repairs when Chris can come to your home and repair your car without trying to rip you off. The AC in my car is now cold enough to hang meat, and I'm chillin like a Polar Bear. Thank you Chris!

Chris is an awesome Mechanic. He did an awesome job with my 2008 Dodge Caravan. What I liked most about him other than his knowledge is he took the time to answer my questions and did not just talk to my husband aswell as explain what he was doing. When I had to move home after living elsewhere for a long time, I had to find a new everything. The thing causing me the most stress was finding a new mechanic. When my car started making a weird noise from what seemed like the back brakes, I reached out to Cris. He was very responsive and able to come out in a matter of days. He spent so much time working on my car and making sure everything was safe and ok. No more squeaking noise either! He even looked at a couple of things on my dad’s car for no extra charge. Cris isn’t just good at what he does, he is clearly someone with great personal integrity who won’t try to pull one over on you or tell you need work done that you don’t. He’s organized and affordable and I really can’t recommend him enough.

A year after changing my front brakes, I started noticing rumbling noise upon slow braking. I brought the car to one of the local mechanics, but they could not diagnose what was wrong with it. The issue continued, and I finally decided to reach out to Cris at Wrench Mobile. I was a bit hesitant given that I've never had work done on my car outside an auto shop, and the idea of "mobile" was somewhat suspicious to me. After reading through multiple positive reviews, I wanted to give it a shot. I texted Cris and explained the issue. He suggested to replace the front pads and gave me a clear quote. I don't live in Cris's service area, but he was very accommodating and offered to bring my car to his home. After a few hours, he communicated that one of the pads was not properly installed and started to rust. He replaced both pads, and I picked up the car. I've been driving for several days now, and no issues! I appreciated the honesty and integrity of Cris, and would absolutely come back. Thank you!
