I took my vehicle to 2 different shops to diagnose a leak, and got 2 different answers (one from a shop that wanted over $1100, and the backed out, claiming it "would be a nightmare"), so I tried Brett at Yellowstone. He told me that is misdiagnosed so often on Jeeps, but said it was more than likely the oil cooler pan, so I gave him a shot, and he was spot on. Got the pan and one of the sensors replaced, plus filled the coolant and did a full oil change to make sure all the fluids were good - all for under a grand! I have had zero issues since. I wanted to wait a bit before writing this just to make sure everything was all good, but Brett and his team came through!

It’s easy to be skeptical of mechanics (unfortunately), but I really enjoyed working with the guys at Yellowstone Auto Repair. They worked through a bunch of issues our car was having and even skipped charging me on some added work. These guys have helped me with a lot of vehicle issues in the past, and they have always been good to me! They have always repaired my vehicle at a reasonable cost, and in a timely manner. I Took my other vehicle in To them yesterday and they called me today with affordable options to troubleshoot before a costly fix because that is my choice. Yellowstone auto is my go to now, they are very knowledgeable and my husband and I fully trust them! They have done a lot of work for me on a vehicle I got suckered into that had very extensive mechanical issues I didn’t now about. Brett got all those issues fixed and he continues to fix issues that comes up on it. It’s nice to finally find a mechanic shop that is trustworthy and has very affordable prices. I was passing thru Billings when I noticed my alternator gauge was fluctuating. I had not seen it do that before, usually stayed steady right at 14v. Stopped at Yellowstone Auto. They tested, checked battery, grounds, unplugged and plugged back and could find nothing wrong. The alternator jumped between 12.4v and 14.9v, within spec. He said I'd like to sell you an alternator or a battery, but you don't need either. Took about half an hour total. No charge, keep an eye on it. Everything was fine. I would go back there in a heartbeat as very knowledgeable and honest. That's the way to do business.

From my first phone call to see how much the brake work was gonna be to picking up my pick up when they got it. Complete was phenomenal service talk about great customer experience and customer satisfaction. These are the guys you need to go see I went in there to get some brake work done and they went over and beyond and tightened up some of my front end. Got a lot of the rattles gone. I would recommend these guys to anybody they do great work.
