said my clutch needed to be replaced when i drove it for over a year on that same clutch. then had the audactiy to floor it in my car and run through the gears and overcharge me. disrespectful

This is the most dishonest auto shop in town. He will lie and add extra repairs that he didn't even touched. Make sure you run check engine codes and take lots of photos before let him fix your car or he will take all your money. Make it easier on yourself, try other places.

This guy failed my car emission test. Pass or fail you still have to pay.... understand that part. A week later I decided to take it somewhere else. The mechanic at the other shop told me my car passed. Yoon's Auto repair is a rip off and a joke. If I could I would give them no stars. STAY AWAY!!!

My dad introduced me to Yoon after I got my first car because he, himself, had gone to Yoon for about a decade before, so I've always trusted him. Yoon definitely gives great service, and will explain the difference between his services and others when you ask, just in case you wanted the extra information.

My nephew discovered Yoon's Auto Repair a few years ago, and I've been to no one else since (I use a private mechanic once my cars go out of warranty). Mr. Yoon is courteous, fair, and knowledgeable. He doesn't mind explaining what's going on w/ your car. All his work is done professionally, ready when he says it will be, and his prices are more than fair. Excellent mechanics. Family business. Best auto service I have ever had, period. Unless it is for a transmission replacement, I would never take my cars anywhere else. Plus, the 55 bus stops right there, so you can leave your vehicle and make it downtown easily. Daniel and his dad are fantastic!

I had an issue with my vehicle's heater and AC blower, so I brought it to this shop hoping for a proper diagnosis. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The mechanic barely inspected the vehicle—he just sat inside for a few minutes—then quoted me a repair bill in the hundreds without doing any real diagnostics. When I suggested it might be something simple like a loose wire or a fuse, he dismissed it and continued pushing for an expensive fix. That raised a red flag for me, so I left and decided to check it myself. It turned out to be exactly what I suspected: a loose fuse that just needed to be pushed back in place. Problem solved in minutes—at no cost. This kind of dishonest and presumptive behavior is unacceptable, and I won’t be returning. Be cautious if you’re considering this place—they seemed more interested in charging than actually helping.
