Quick turn around time, very good on communication. My family has been coming here for 20 years but not anymore. Tried ripping us off over 1100 to change an alternator. They said something like $500 for the alternator itself. Got a brand new one with a warranty for $180. And paid a buddy $80 to do it which took him an hour. Saved a good $600-700 because I still had to pay them for diagnosis. Got to pay them for diagnosis even if you tell them the issue. If you want an expert for a good job this is the place but if you have a smaller job I wouldn’t advise it at all.

Z’s Car Care was great. Fantastic customer service from Meg! No bs, no run around, straight forward and honest. Tried calling a dealership and a local auto repair chain, both were a struggle to get an estimate or even make an appointment. Z’s gave me an accurate estimate within minutes and got my truck in the next day for a repair to my ac system. Z’s has fair prices and great people. Will definitely go back for future auto repair needs!

Meg is the best!! She helped far more than I could ever ask for. I told her I knew nothing about cars and walked me through everything step by step and even more than she needed too, she was amazing and so personable and friendly that I sat there and just chatted with her for a few hours once my car was done, it was like I’d known her for years! Highly recommended going to see them and I will be back in the future with any problems I have in the future!!

First time experience with Z’s and happy with the response and service we got. They were able to take a tow for our Nissan that was steaming/smoking and overheating all of the sudden. Diagnosed late the following day and replaced busted coolant hose the day following. I never did hear a projected cost, but we knew we needed it fixed regardless. I will trust the price was fair and competitive. All went smoothly for the repair and testing and payment, except a very minor misunderstanding about our AAA membership which was able to be remedied with quick communication. I would trust them to do work on our car in the future.

What can’t I say about this shop. They treated me like family and took great care of my car. They worked exceptionally fast. What I thought would take a week, they had done the following working day. As a woman, finding an honest mechanic has always been an issue. Here at Z’s I experienced the utmost integrity with 5 star quality service. Every member of this team was incredibly thorough. I saw all the wonderful reviews on this company and thought I found a Gem. Maybe I'm the odd man out. But, I called for a quote and was told by the lady on the phone that the price for my "Cam Phaser" would be $4500. I asked, How soon can I get my truck in and how long would it take. Her response was, "We can get you in today and it will take a day." I told her I would talk with my wife and get back with her. I received a text stating that the job would actually cost $4800 Then another text came through stating the job would actually be $5800. I called back and said lets do it. Her response was, I can schedule you a week from today. The tech called me because he wanted to order parts and needed info from me. He told me that the job would actually take 2 days because it's a 13 hour job. I dropped my truck off on Wednesday, they were suppose to start the work on Thursday. Because of the Weekend I called on Monday afternoon to check on my truck. I got the lady on the phone, she said she will call me in 20 minutes. 5 hours later I get a call back. Apparently they received wrong parts and had to re-order parts that the vendor sent. My truck will be ready to pick up either Wednesday afternoon or Thursday Morning. Thursday afternoon came and no call. My wife called and they told her that they need to re-order parts and won't be ready until the following Monday morning. My 2 hour job turned into almost 2 weeks and when we went to pick up the truck the price changed again to $6100. So not only did the price change 4 times and the completion day change several times, but I am the one who had to call each time to get info on my truck, they would never contacted me. "Horrible communication" "They have no idea how much the job actually costs" I understand that issues happen. I know that wrong parts happen. I've seen the videos on what is needed to perform this job, and it is not a fun looking job. They did extra work without telling me or even asking if it's ok. Never told me that they would charge a $140 credit card fee. (I would have grabbed cash) But if you can't talk with your customers and tell them what's going on. It looks like you are trying to scam them.

My car broke down while we were driving, and I did not know why. I had it towed to these guys. They answered the phone, were responsive, Got us in quickly. I had no idea what was wrong with the car, they could have told me the flux capacitor needed to get replaced and they needed to service whatchacallit and I wouldn’t have known the difference. Truly, the issue ended up being relatively minor, and so was the price to fix it. Meg Was highly communicative the entire time. You never want to need a mechanic, but if you do, I do encourage you to check these guys out!

Z’s Car Care had my car for a couple days. They gave me the Impression my problem with my car was my clutch. They wanted to charge me over $3k for a clutch kit on an old Honda. $500 of that was literally just fees. When I asked about the fees Robert said “oh idk why those are there, we don’t do that” and took it off. That brought the price down to around $2700. Still too much. When I went to go pick up my car I asked “what has you so convinced it is my clutch?” Tim goes “I’m not” So then I was utterly confused. They wanted $2100 to drop my transmission just to figure out what the problem was. Not fix anything. Also the whole time they had my car they would say “oh well call you later with an update.” They never did. I was always the one calling in and asking about my car. It literally sounds like they drove my car around and charged me $190 for a “diagnostic” they weren’t even sure about. I took it to another spot who inspected my car for free and found the problem in 30 minutes. It was my clutch master and master slave cylinder leaking. Motor car doctors replaced these things, did a full car inspection, a transmission flush, and gave me a loaner car for a fraction of the price Z’s wanted to charge me. AND Motor Car Doctors on Canyon Rd in Beaverton were calling me and updating me every step of the way.

So on the 8th a staff member affirmed my appointment for the 9th at 1pm. They also messaged later to get my license plate, which I thought was odd. They said they needed to affirm parts. Yet they have my make and model? So understanding why.. I gave them my plate number. Mind you I took time off to make this appointment. I left work early, and arrived five minutes prior to appointment. The door was locked, they didn’t answer my phone calls or my text messages. I was ghosted by this car care company. It is quite shocking to be treated with such disrespect. So I personally would not recommend this service 40 minutes after I received this message.. “Clint!! I am so sorry!!! Lunch paths got too crossed due to late customers. We are back if you have the availability, we can get that done for you.” During business hours the doors were locked, no one was managing the phone or texts. I’m guessing someone must of locked the door. I leave it with that!

I was able to call in ask some questions. They're very knowledgeable. I got to bring my car in same day. And instead of a $30 Uber they even offered and gave me a ride. Got my car on the same day. And they even came and got me. All in all what an amazing experience amazing service. They also explain everything to you they don't make you feel stupid for asking a question. I'm an Uber driver and I have lots of car issues and this was the best experience I've ever had with this type of business. I really appreciate all of you!!! Thank you all again!

I came in today with a seatbelt issue for my son. And as a mom, I was nervous and wanted to hurry up and get it fixed and was not sure where to take it or pricing or anything Along those lines. Robert and his mechanic were on top of it quickly for me trying to help me diagnose What was wrong with it And get the issue fixed.There was great communication and honesty, which I think is huge. And overall, I am so happy that they helped meToday. I will definitely go back if I ever have any future needs. Thank you so much again.
