I highly suggest not coming here, especially for any major repairs. They initially quoted me about $500, following 3 more phone calls throughout the week totaling to 3 MORE parts needing repair that they "initially didn't catch." The price kept increasing with each phone call that I would receive. Totaling about another $500 over my ORIGINAL quote. I started getting skeptical about where their shopping for parts and such, so I asked about a part and where they were shopping for it? I was told O'Reilly...which all Mom and Pop car shops I've gone to usually go for used parts at junkyards and others connections they have...instead of a major retailer. After receiving my third phone call for ANOTHER part needing repair after they already said my car was ready, I did some research. I Googled the part and shopped to see how much the prices are online. I got a price online for the entire part of about $50. They quoted me almost $300 for this extra part AND labor! Very unprofessional, I trusted them with my car and got ripped off.

I knew what was wrong with my car as my bf is a auto mechanic owner in Boston. So I send him photos of problem. He told me exactly what I needed and how much a honest shop would charge. I went, no appointment, to 4 l and a .I was met by kind reception women. I was told within 15 mins the problem and the problem and price was exactly what my bf told me he hit it on the nose with cost and parts nothing more nothing less. I was very grateful I now have an honest shop I can do business with. All single women who don't wanna get jerked by shady shops should go with this one. And they said work would take an hour and a half but we're done in one hour. Great shop!!!

I was first referred to Four L&A by a friend, and I have referred others to them. They are high quality, knowledgeable, prompt, and courteous mechanics. I would refer anybody to them because I trust my car to them. They even let me borrow one of their cars one time when I had to leave my vehicle overnight. They’re outstanding!

March 16th 2023 Thursday I was at Dave and busters around noon enjoying a couple hours w my grandson during spring break. We left Dave and busters and jumped in my 2014 Toyota Tacoma to start it and when It started it sounded like a racing car it was loud. They stole my catalytic converter from my truck. I immediately drove it slowly to 4Land A and they gave me a fair estimate. I'm familiar w cars and maintaining and I grew up around cars and parts industry so I'm aware of all that goes with upkeep on cars etc... anyways Alex Jose and Jesus were very friendly and they know about the mechanic business. I feel they treat people fairly and they were all very friendly. I took my vehicle in Thursday afternoon and picked it up Saturday a.m. I was so relieved that my truck was fixed correctly and i wasnt taken advantage of! Alex Jose And Jesus and the lady I don't know her name but I'm sure she was part of the crew there. I just want to thank you all for a great job on my truck and for being fair. My truck runs better now than it did before w a new direct fit catalytic converter and new sensors... may you all continued to be blessed

I've been to 4L and A Auto Repair twice so far this year: once for a wheel issue and another time for an A/C diag and repair. The team is friendly and knowledgable, and their prices are very fair. They had my car in-and-out within an hour today. I'll be coming back for a rear axle replacement soon but wanted to give the team a shout-out. Thanks, y'all!

I've allowed this shop to work on my cars for the past 6 years. My mother needed work done on her SUV, and they were timely and cost effective. My best friend also has had his vehicle serviced here since 2012. Highly recommend.

I used them many times but this last time will be the last. My vehicle was turning off at stop signs and lights or anytime I had to slow down, I mentioned to them that if the problem was not to much money then I would fix something else that would not go over my budget but they took it upon themselves to fix something else that could've waited and they never fixed the problem. When driving home my vehicle continued to turn off so I called the next day I was told they didn't fix that problem because someone test drived it and it didn't turn off on them and that someone had called to let me know about what was going on but i didn't get a call or message from anyone, I payed $506 to them but thank god i found a mechanic who fixed the problem for $200.

So very grateful for Jose and his staff/business at 4L&A Auto Repair!! I have taken all of my vehicles to him for almost 10 years and now drive from Huntsville to Houston because the service is really worth it. Jose is super friendly, extremely trustworthy, and beyond reasonably priced. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

I came in a few months ago because I had a check engine light on and couldn’t pass inspection. Was told that it had something to do with emissions and that they would fix it for $300. After driving to cycle through the emissions check, the check engine light came back on. Brought it back and it happened again. After that I went to YouTube and ended up fixing the problem myself for $40. It seems like this shop doesn’t actually diagnose issues but just throws parts at problems and hopes to land on a fix. They might get lucky and fix your problem or they might not. I would recommend you search elsewhere for someone that is going to take the time to do the job right the first time.

I paid for new parts, and it seems like what the put was more of the same parts it had. Had to keep coming in for the same issue. I verified with someone else, and the "new parts" looked like they had been used for a while... only had them on for one day, and after one day they were looking like I had them on for months.... I'm talking about break pads and the break disc's. It's not safe plus I ended up paying them about 1,000. Never coming here again. I had to get them replaced somewhere else.

These guys are fantastic! For almost 30 years now they've been taking care of my cars. Their hourly labor rate is still really low. I still do all my repairs with them even though I moved almost 10 miles away. They take excellent care of me. They also give fair deals on used cars in good running condition.

took my truck in to get the paint corrected, have some missing trim pieces installed and have the a/c repaired i got charged close to 4k for all that and i was left very disappointed the paint wasn’t corrected they only buffed it out and charged me for full paint correction the trim pieces were crooked and installed with no care whatsoever the a/c worked for a good 5 minutes before it broke down again and it was a hassle to get them to fix it even though it was under warranty and even after i took the truck back to get the a/c repaired it still didn’t work and it was even left in a worse state the when i initially took it in and they refused to check it any further all in all they stole 4k from me and didn’t do anything of the things they said they would do to my truck if you’re looking to get your car repaired i 100% do not recommend these guys at all
