The best little gas station/convenience store in the neighborhood. Plus they sell high octane gas for our toys. They also have propane which is handy to just run down the road in our little country area.

The gas prices are just annoying. I remember when....anyway when did it become popular to buy stuff at the dollar store and then resell it for four times the cost? How sick. I understand that people have to make a living but this place is selling Costco milk for four bucks a gallon. I don't understand. That's so uncool. Don't take advantage of people like that! Otherwise I suppose this visit was fine but the lady who helped me couldn't speak English so it took about ten minutes to complete my transaction. And I didn't buy Tylenol, I'm not paying $4.29 for a bottle of 12 that I can get elsewhere for a buck.

For a gas station, they have gone above and beyond with the Chester Store. Fresh served ice cream and some in-store cooked foods set this place apart and have made it a landmark for those in the area. While the car-wash may be a bit pricey and has been throughout the years, everything else has made an effort to remain reasonable.

Car Wash Review Only - only pay for the cheap wash if any. Sometimes there has been someone working at the car wash. Otherwise it is self serve automated. It doesn't get the bugs off. I paid for the best wash and doubt it was any better than the cheap wash. I'll post a picture. If someone was there power washing it may made a difference. I like the store.

I have been using the Chester Store for years and years. It is really more than a convenience store in a way. Their prices aren't out of this world like most places are and they have a terrific variety of items, including propane, fresh scooped ice cream, hot dogs and a car wash plus much more. It has a nice large parking area and lots of gas pumps. I can easily get in and out in my 35' class A motor home for gas or propane and have done so on more than one occasion. There are three places closer to where I live, but to be honest, I don't like the atmosphere of those places. Chester Store just has a warmer more welcoming atmosphere and some tables where you can sit down and enjoy your ice cream cone, hot dog, coffee etc. and feel welcome doing so.

Some context first. My five star rating is relative to gas stations not restaurants. That being said they got really good ice cream that's practically free and the pizza is surprisingly delicious. The toxic gas fumes mixed with whiffs of my black licorice ice cream make for a delightful spring evening.

Good old Chester store a great place to go for quick eats. It's also a great gathering point for groups I have noticed a few biker clubs hanging out there lately but don't worry they won't bite there just there for gas and ice cream.

Chester store is still my favorite gas station in the Spokane Valley. I fueled up and got my car washed here and bought a coke here yesterday. Everyone here is friendly. Isaac the young man at the car wash is such a delight. He took time to explain the whole process to me, worked diligently on the pre wash, and helped me get into the automated car wash lane with a smile on his face and a joy you do not see with a ton of folks these days. All of this for a $5.99 car wash with a ten gallon fill up. If you need your car washed and are anywhere near the chester store it is well worth it, the pre wash was the most diligent thorough wash I’ve had in spokane.
