I took my car to Jim at Accurate Auto to fix my car after an incompetent machanic tried to cover-up a major error. They found the problems fast and accurately. Their name definitely fits their operation & conduct. Highly recommend if you want your car fixed accurately.

If you want your car serviced correctly, honestly, and not financially gouged this is where you want to bring your car. Jim does a great job at this place of business, when you walk in and it's like being at home, just take a look and you will see. A long time auto repair shop, that has one of the best reputations in So-Cal by word of mouth. Quality trained professionals, that respect your vehicle. Jim and the office staff are like friendly neighbors. The quality of work compares to those "exotic BMW-Jag-Lexus" places, but not the $$$$$$ laid out.

Let me tell you something about Mr Jim A1 accurate automotive loyal honest and true . I lived in Coachella valley 125 mi away I couldn't get my car to Mr Jim to get it fixed I took it to the dealership they didn't fix it three times I took my car to Mr Jim anyone accurate automotive he had the problem fixed within 30 minutes he showed me what the dealership did not fix or find if you have any kind of car and you want to honest true mechanic from the bottom of my heart I mean this you wouldn't find a more nicer honest person than Mr Jim. He's been my mechanic for over 10 years he's been my Mom and Dad's mechanic he's somebody that I would have no problem trusting

I have been coming to A-1 Accurate Automotive for over ten year. Jim, the owner, offers the highest services one can ask for. He's not cheap in prices but does cover any warranties without additional expense. His crew is exceptional as is he. If something isn't right or you find a problem that has not been fixed to your satisfaction, Jim and his team will work on your vehicle until the problem has been found and repaired. I would not trade him for any other mechanic unless I'm not in town. It makes no difference as to what vehicle his crew is working on; a vintage car to the newest ones. Like one commercial says (paraphraising) "Try him...You'll like him". Still just as good today!!

My uncle introduced me to this garage a couple years ago, now, I only bring my vehicles here! They do a great job, they're quick, and are honest about the pricing and work. They also specialize in older, vintage vehicle restoration... which my son loves to check out the older vehicles! A1 continues to be on the top of my list. Now my daughter drives down from LA to get auto work done here, and that says something! Support your local small businesses!

I've been going to A 1 Accurate Automotive for some time now. They provide me with a high standard of quality services which is nice as compared to other places. I would recommend this place to anyone who looking for honest, and dedicated mechanics that have a wide variety of skills. When I put my car in drive and leave the parking space I know I won't have that 2nd return visit because they were spot on the first time.

A-1 performed a front disc brake and rotor replacement on our 2016 Honda CRV. We also had them inspect the driverside rear tire due to a slow leak. The brake service was less expensive than what Americas Tire quoted and they patched the tire for free. Both the mechanic and the office manager were friendly and thanked me for my support. We highly recommend A-1 for automotive repair.

We're new to this shop, coming off of Many Years of super trusted business with another place, which went through some, not so good transitions. After doing the homework best I knew how; arrived at A-1 as the place to try. Very happy this is the choice we went with. Seems most other reviews I read referred to a different main guy. Most of my dealings have been with Hai, and I believe him to be a gentleman of superior character to that of so many disreputable folks out there these days. Definitely pleased with our new go-to for automotive repair

On 9/11/25, brought in a 2015 Honda Civic to A-1 Accurate Automotive after another shop couldn’t fix the check engine light. Hai was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He quickly found that rodents had chewed part of the wire harness, repaired it, and the check engine light was gone—the car even passed smog. He also recommended and replaced the engine air filter and cabin air filter. And noticed the center brake light was out, which he replaced at no charge. The cost was fair, he offered me a ride to the shop, and even washed the car, which I really appreciated. A week later (9/18/25), the car wouldn’t start, and Hai kindly had me bring it back. He found the issue was an old key fob battery, the car battery, and a kill switch on the car battery. After replacing both and removing the switch, the car started perfectly. I really appreciated Hai’s honesty, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. The car has been running smoothly ever since, and I’ll definitely return to A-1 Accurate Automotive for future Honda repairs. Highly recommend! Thanks Hai.

We have 2 cars and ever since our last machanic retired after 30 years with them, we came here and love everyone who works here. Granted, my best friend handles everything and have to budget time and funds between the two cars we are having problems with, but, from what I have seen they try the very best and helpful.
