My car would start , I had to get a jump but it would turn right ba¢k off , I had it towed to AAction on 9/13/23 , what they said was I had a blown fuse 25 engine control , 3 shorted IG Coil ,and a Mass meter wires damaged , spark plugs removed and replaced , inline 4 mSs meter pigtails replaced . I paid $1,262.77 , on 10/30/23 I took it ba€k to them bekause I was basically doing the same thing of what made me take the car to the on 9/13 . I was told that it was the fuse thats from my battery that was the reason for keeping my car down , my thing is didn't I just pay them for this problem ? Why am I back here again ? So he told me that he can order another fuse but it'll take 3 days for it to be back he said that for the cost of that with the labor will be $248 .00 I told him that I will call him back and told a friend that live nextdoor what was told to me , as a woman I wanted to hear what a man reaction would be , my friend said OH NO ! Just for that ? I said yea , he said that's ridiculous , so I had my friend to take me to go get my car , so he wanted to charge me $48 for the moment of having my car , I told him , No ! I paid you already and was bringing my car back so you can fix the problem of something I already paid for , he tried telling me well why did you sign the paper ? I said I didn't sign no paper , he said oh yes you did I said show me what I signed and he said well you might didn't see it why it wasn't signed , and I said no you never passed me a paper to sign one time , all he had to do was shock his cameras he would of seen that I was telling the truth . So he said you know what just go ahead , and I told him , there's nothing that I have to lie about , when I brought my car in in September yes I signed the papers but on the time when I took it back which was yesterday of me writing this review no I didn't sign anything . I have a music system in my car and my music doesn't sound the same I'm gonna go and have the place I got my music installed at to check my speakers to make sure they wasn't switched out for some reason im not feeling right . . I'm an African American woman and I was feeling like I was got just because of my skin color but but I had to snap back like no you can't think like that . . So you guys I'm back were I started from , , I done paid all of my birthday money to him and my car is sitting in my garage again needing a jump every time I need to get in it . gave them all of my money just so I can be Carless with my car just sitting in the garage . I was trying to post here what I seen just today on the BBB page and if you don't believe me go and look yourself , this place is rated a C - If I would had known that before I wouldn't had never went there , they need to go in there undercover and take a car in there and let it be a Woman , or a woman Old .

They are wonderful mechanics good honest old school like how it use to be. They are straight to the point and won’t try to mess with prices .. they do what’s fair and reasonable and keep well rounded contact with their customers.. take it from me being a tow truck driver and going to numerous shops for people these people I highly recommend

I took my car there for a catalytic converter replacement thru the CAP program and they quoted the job at $1800 plus smog cert, they also quoted my wife $680 to replace 4 spark plugs and charged $210 for a smog. I'm willing to pay but not for those prices and they kept the car for 3 days to tell me what I already knew cause another shop had done the smog already. So I received a receipt for $210 that they charged the CAP program and payed $42 out of pocket!

These guys are great. When you get your vehicles repaired at A-Action it stays fixed. They just did a full brake upgrade on my '14 F-150. They also maintain our old PT Cruiser and my Mrs. Or I could jump in and take a cross country trip without a worry.

I brought my 2005 Toyota Tacoma in for a misfire issue on cylinder six. They gave me a firm diagnosis and said it needed spark plugs and wires. They quoted me just over $1,000 for the parts and installation assuring me this would fix the misfire issue. After the money was spent not even 5 minutes after leaving the parking lot I was still experiencing same major misfire issues. After immediately bringing it back the shop the owner said he would have his mechanics over look the situation for a second diagnosis. After further inspection they communicated to me that they couldn’t find any further issues and no refund or partial refund could be issued. The only thing this shop is good for is very minor replacements & repairs. Would NOT recommend to any family or friend.

Brought my mom's car in for smog check light issue and they fixed it and had the smog papers ready and everything when we went back in a couple days. I didn't think they were going finish everything for use. Very nice surprise. The older men working there were polite and very helpful.

EDIT: Apparently the reply from owner here was automated because when I called to “make things right” the owner had no idea what I was talking about and definitely has no intention of making it right. If it truly is an automated reply, they ought to disable that immediately as it really adds insult to injury when you think they’re finally going to do the right thing and instead they tell you they have no clue what you’re talking about. Wish I could change this to zero stars at this point. Brought my 87 Toyota pick up to them because it was losing power. They kept the truck for 2 and a half months, never returned my phone calls, and replaced a $340 distributor which did nothing to fix my problem. Months without my daily driver and almost no communication for it to finally all end with me borrowing a car to drive over there and have Dale tell me he couldn’t figure it out. Paid for a diagnosis and a pricey part and in return I got my truck back 2 and a half months later that still has the exact same issue I brought it in with plus months worth of dirt on it. I didn’t want to pay anything but when they have the keys to your vehicle, you’re at a serious disadvantage. I am understanding and patient. I understand that even the best mechanics may get stumped at some point. I also understand that sometimes quality work takes time. Where A-Action truly failed me was in their complete disregard for communication with me. It’s bizarre to me. They did not care to even try and then just gave up when I finally came in for answers. Worst experience I’ve ever had in auto repair.
