Wowww, this is place is just truly amazin!! Super honest people and very down to earth!! We first brought my wife's car here a couple months ago when her engine light started to flash and was riding very rough, they went part by part to figure out the root cause. First they checked the spark plugs(needed to be replaced anyways), then they checked the coil packs, then the fuel injectors, finally we got down to the PCM itself and that was the problem. We got all of those other parts fully replaced as well as a temporary PCM while the original got sent out to a company who does electrical work(they sent it out at no charge to us). The original PCM has been sent 3 separate times(still absolutely no charge to us each time) because it kept failing once they would put it back in the car. In the meantime the temporary PCM was holding up great with no lights on the dash. We are now fully using the temporary PCM and are having no problems anymore. Along with the parts for the engine we got an oil change and the front brakes done. In total with Labor and Parts it was roughly $1800. Sounds like a lot but we got a lot replaced and done within a couple of weeks and now the car is running great and we don't have too many worries still being careful since the PCM isn't a VIN match to the car but as long as it's working!👍🏼 Fast forward to a couple days ago my car started to give me problems on a long drive home from Houston. My whole car and steering wheel started shaking violently and uncontrollably for no reason, I was using cruise control and was like that for the majority of the drive. It settled down !after I pulled off to take a look and only happened once more on the drive back. The following morning on my way to work it would only happen when I would start to apply my brakes and now it was accompanied with a large squeeling sounds as if my brake pads were hitting metal to metal. Got my car towed this morning to A&L and again, their honesty and dependability is through the roof. They just called me to let me know that it was some missing bolts to the control arms, which could have been much more serious if I drove the car any longer. They could have easily told me it was the control arms themselves needing to be replaced, but they told me what it actually was and that my control arms looked in perfect condition still. I will always come here when I have any problems with either cars because I know they truly care about our safety overall, as well as our satisfaction of being told the truth and not just trying to gouge our eyes out for more money like most mechanics do. Thank you so much Ludy and Malcolm for taking such good care of us over the past few months!!

I was informed that I didn’t need an alignment (that’s what the dealership told me); I just needed a balance (2 tires had heavier weights). I went in today with what I consider an unusual request. After explaining my project, they knew exactly what was needed. I was in before 11AM, so they had enough time to order the materials needed to complete the job. They were busy today, but stayed later to get it out for me today. This shop is always quick to evaluate the problem. One of their techs drove my car within 5min of arrival to give me a preliminary assessment of a weird noise I was having. Within 2hrs they had gotten under the car and diagnosed the issue. They fixed the issue within 24hrs (ball bearings, control arm replacement, oil gasket leak) and cost was very reasonable. They went over all costs before repairs and even explained why certain things came out more expensive after they had to source some parts from the dealer (no 3rd party available). These folks are very personable, friendly and I love that they know whom I am every time I come in the store. No commercial coldness here, just good old fashioned neighborhood mechanic. My only small gripe is that I had asked them to let me know if they needed to keep the car overnight…and they didn’t. I had to call before closing at 5pm and they told me it was taking longer than expected (there was a good reason).

Friendly fast service, gave me a free suspension diagnosis along w/military discount (Army Vet), completed all repairs (tie rods, control bars, cv axles, new tires) in less than half a day. Great financing options During alignment they identified a previously unknown frame issue I have and helped diagnose and even waived the alignment fee. Will be returning to them for all my auto needs
