Needed some sensors replaced in my 2018 Duramax that wasn’t going to take 3 weeks to have done so I gave A1 a call they were able to squeeze me in the following day, confirmed the sensors were my issue and had them replaced and ready for pick up in less then 24hrs! I was extremely happy with the fast turn around and honest/reasonable price for the work! They’re knowledgeable and kept me informed through the process! Brought my truck in because steering felt really loose. I was freaking out and I knew that the shops were getting ready to close. I stopped in here. He immediately put my truck on the lift, shook it down with me there, showed me the problem ( which was a steering shaft that was hanging on by a thread) the technician Jake stayed after closing to replace it so I could be safe driving down the road. 10/10 an excellent place that made me feel safe and secure driving off.

1 vehicle: over a month now and STILL isn’t fixed & left with the issue still to resolve with scheduled appointments & no one present to configure these unresolved issues……. I am beyond frustrated & COULD NOT imagine seeing someone else get this kind of treatment so I had to be certain that a person isn’t played by this joker that seems so sincere: by words, that is!….. Sincerely the biggest run-around I have ever experienced in my life……… One’s words go a long way with me, but $800 in & no solution & being left on end with a business to run…… yes, “he understands”……

It took 3 months to get my husband's diesel truck fixed. He said he replaced several different parts, but every time we drove by it was in the same place. Then when we finally said we are going to come get it tomorrow, he finally fixed it. Then doubled the price of his original quote. Then when we asked for the receipt for the parts he supposedly fixed, because we didn't see evidence of these new parts inside the truck, he did not provide any. He seemed nice, but it was a different story every time we talked, and some of those stories did not line up with what he said before. Put price as reasonable below because it would be a reasonable price had he fixed the issue in a reasonable amount of time and/or provided proof of work.

Sunday afternoon our car quit running while pulling into a Circle K. We were on our way to Florida from Illinois. We were advised to call A1 by a local Pep Boys as they were booked until Tuesday. We called A1 & explained our situation & were told they would come to Circle K & take a look. They arrived & advised we needed a new water pump, told us they would go get the part & rent the tool needed to replace it & be back. They came back, changed out the water pump & had us back on the road in about a half hour. We can't say enough good things about our experience with A1. They truly went above & beyond in getting us back on the road & for that we are truly grateful!

Where do I even begin? A1 Auto and Diesel in Evansville did an amazing job! They were super quick with my engine swap, and everything was spotless when I got it back. Everyone at the shop was friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. I couldn't recommend anyone else, these guys really know what they're doing. I will definitely be bringing any future vehicles to them if I ever have any issues, no doubt about it!

Worst service ive ever had with a mechanic if you could call him that. Brought a diesel van in for glow plugs. Was quoted 1 week for the job and its been 9 months, still no sign of it being completed. Everytime its is supposed to be finished some other issues would suddenly appear. Doesn't answer the phone for the life of him. I fear my vehicle has been scrapped for parts. Dont come here for any service if you dont want your car stolen. Wish I could give zero stars.
