Might be first ever review I’ve written but I went in had probably 4-5 people that came in after me leave with their vehicles before me and had a driver side rear turn signal changed, then the socket because it wasn’t the bulb that was bad was told it’s now working….. when I got home to double check, it wasn’t working. I was inside just over 2 hours for an oil change……. Go somewhere else if you enjoy your free time (my sister 20 minutes prior to me went to jiffy lube and was in and out in 15 minutes for an oil change)

I have now visited this location, at minimum, half a dozen times. Quite often I am in and out within 20-25 minutes. Today was very different, being there for well over an hour and a half, with cars coming after me being put through before me due to them switching what bay my car was sitting in. These guys, more often than not, get it done quickly, but I would recommend arriving later in the afternoon on weekdays, or being there first on weekends. All around, this location does very well to get you in and out very quickly, but suggest you call ahead to see how heavily trafficked they are if you are intending to get it done lickety split to be somewhere else.

Took my van in for an oil change. Was slightly overdue and dealer was 2 weeks out. Returned home next day noticed a few oil drops on garage floor. The whole underside of van covered in oil. Not sure what they did or if they bothered to try to clean anything up before they left it like this. Looks like oil spilled at some point during the change and they didn't even try to clean it up. What is the $5 shop supply fee for if not this exact thing? Will not be back.

#Review update# - original review below. I eventually was able to talk to the owner who assured me we could review the video after not getting too far with the manager on that. Within a week (since I am three hours away), my parents met up with the owner there and they said he was very nice and did a play by play for the video. It was sent to me as well after that. Also, a family member who is an FAA certified mechanic said they were impressed with it and did not see anything that stood out. I just wish I had an answer sooner. Apparently the roads here in Indy are that bad and I have been talking to people more about cars naturally more lately, and all kinds of freakish out of the ordinary stuff has been happening to everyone's cars traced back to the cars just getting bumped around more. I think it is weird that the thing popped off the time it did (within a day after the service) and the Hyundai dealer tech said he had never seen that before. My final thought is they will probably see it more. All in all I guess it is not standard in Evansville to check for weak/missing clamps from road roughness because there and Indy are two different stories. But it could be a good thought for LO to maybe consider adding an extra checkpoint options especially for cars from rougher road/climate areas. I cannot check my own car underside due to stupid rules in my HOA/neighborhood without it turning into nosey neighbor drama, so I am sort of highly dependent on others watching out for me on the underside of the car and an understandable source of my frustration that speaks more to systematic loopholes than any shortcoming at Lucas Oil Evansville. I am glad the owner took the time to get down to the bottom of things and reassure us they did they best they could with the service I purchased. #Original review# This is a preliminary review until I hear back from the manager. I thought when I got an oil change here yesterday 6/30, in the afternoon, that I would have no worries. The video taping of the service looks like accountability is taken seriously there. I found it a little peculiar when I was told my vehicle was done, a young man from the bay ran out to meet me at my car parked out front and said I needed to hold on before I left because he needed to put the engine cover on still (my hood was closed, and glad he remembered because why would I think any different)? This was a full-service change so all fluids and associated points to that were checked and I gladly paid for. Unfortunately I had severe fluid issues today and it seems very suspicious now that the person working on my car may not have known what they were doing. I am frankly upset and waiting for the manager to return my voicemail. Depending on how this situation is handled, this review goes to 1 star or 5 star. Either way, I shouldn't have to be worrying about the fluids in my car when I literally just was being a good owner and had it all looked at the day before. Attached is a photo of what they almost forgot to put on. Also, I noticed that one of my tire air covers was different, and it was barely tightened on, so they screwed that up too. Minor, but crazy annoying they did not even do that correctly. I hope the manager is transparent and gladly reviews the videos they take with me.

Love the waiting area. Cameras set up to view the outside and the pit. You can see when your car is pulled in and them working on it. I was never a fan of these quick change places but my mechanic recommended them for a coolant flush. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Explained what they did and found. I will be going back.

I have the unlimited washes here and love it! Pretty much get my car washed when I drive by and have time. I also get my Subaru serviced here. The service here is great and the product is superior in my opinion. When you are waiting on your car you can enjoy the massage chair as well! They also have a snack bar with a large selection of goodies for purchase.

Won't be going here again. Been a loyal customer for years, however this time I was getting my oil changed and was told my wipers needed replaced because they smeared. I had just replaced with a nice pair of Bosch not 2 months ago and they still work like new. Of course I declined because I'm not stupid. I'm not in the business of ripping people off or giving my money to those that do. Came here for convenience, but will be learning how to change my own oil from now on.

I have been going for several years With 5 different vehicles one of the 5 vehicles I took to the local dealership January of 26 the service advisor took me back and showed me 5 missing screws and bolts with two of them hand tight...Not one person from lucas oil let me know there was any thing missing they want to sell you fuel injector cleaner very disappointed in the lack of communication just going to stick with the dealership for all my vehicles

They do good work here and offer more services than the typical 10 or 15 min oil change places. They are friendly and competent. It is a little pricey by comparison and the wait times can get long. The last two trips I made were each almost an hour. Be aware, like so many places now they charge a 3% fee to use a debit or credit card. That can add up when your oils changes approach $90-100. You can also use the ATM inside that also charges a fee. I don't know about others but I typically do t walk around with $100 in cash on me.

Very professional courteous staff and no attempts to upsale. The waiting area is very clean and comfortable. They also have a nice refreshment area where you can get about anything you need. They will get you through here quickly and conveniently. The place is easy to find using Google Maps as it is right off of a major thoroughfare North Green River Road.

Absolutely horrible service by their Saturday team. They walk around half speed. They like to give out wait times, and when they are completely off its not their fault. Then they won't even try to help fix the issue, besides say the customer is wrong. Then they will also say "we are voted #1 in customer service " as if it makes them nullified to not have a bad experience with anyone. The shift lead then walked out to my car after I wanted to leave and was told I could, to still try and confront outside of the business saying he was trying to wipe my window off, but ciuldnt stop going on and on about their perfect record. Someone like that, should not be leading any shifts. I used to love this place and have been going for years. I won't be going back, and I hope this posts saves others from the bad experience they offer.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love Lucas Oil — this is my go-to place to take care of my vehicle. They are fast, responsible, and very professional. The staff is always helpful, and I really appreciate that they’re open on Saturdays. Plus, you don’t even need an appointment, which makes everything so convenient. Highly recommend!

My truck runs so much more smoothly now after that oil change. The mechanic was very nice and helpful by explaining things to me. They did a wonderful job. Also the waiting area is so awesome! They have like a little store and drinks you can buy while you wait. Which wasn't that long, of a wait before I was out and running again. The receptionist that helped me was so cool! Very nice lady. She gave me a discount for it being my first time there. I'm definitely making this place my go to for oil changes!❤️
