I got a car from them last year. 2016 sonic under 72,000 miles. Second week I had it the battery exploded in the engine bay. Had to fight to get it repaired. Not long after that the pulley came loose and shredded the belt. They wanted me to pay $80 to tow it 300ft. Good thing I had onstar they towed it for free. Since then I had a check engine light on several times from the vvt failing, was fixed then went off again. Front bumper fell off in the winter. Payments are cheap for a car and there insurance is cheap combined but it’s not worth the headache of the issues. Couple months ago I surrendered my car and keep getting messages I owe this I owe that. I will not pay for a car that has been in the shop just as much as I’ve had it

This is the best experience I’ve ever had with getting a vehicle. They were transparent, considerate of my financials and me needing something reliable. They made sure my family and I were safe and put in a new vehicle after being hit by a drunk driver. Educated me about my expenses and affordability. We dealt with a lady named Beth at JD Byryder and this lady was nothing short of the most amazing person I’ve came across in awhile. She was not there just for a paycheck. She was there because she actually cared. She was very attentive. She made sure we understood what we were buying. Made sure that we loved it. And the most touching part at the end she gave us this Turkish eyeball key chain and said it’s for protection. I hope they value her there because she is a very special person and employee.
